These are really good people here. We have a shaking problem that’s hard to diagnose with our truck. They took their time and checked everything out and let us know everything they found. They spent time and didn’t even charge us since they couldn’t definitively say which issue was actually causing the problem rather than throw parts at it and charge us unnecessarily. They even referred us to another shop to do some of the things they don’t handle. This is a really good shop interested in actually solving your problem and not grabbing every dollar they can out of people regardless of whether the issue is fixed. They have earned my repeat business.

5 stars isn't enough for Tri-County. They are incredibly professional, friendly & honest. Shop & floors are SPOTLESS & not like the average black grease tarpit like were used to seeing. I had called shortly before closing & they got me in early the next morning. Managed to get me out by closing that same day. What would have been a logistical nightmare at the dealership ended up becoming a great experience here. I was exhausted from running all night & they were kind enough to let me zonk out in the sleeper, where as most places will tell you to tough it out. Pricing was very reasonable, especially when you're talking about high quality work & same day service on a all day mechanical adventure. (Good, Fast Cheap...Remember, you can only have 2). They also made sure to give everything a 2nd look before sending me out & the parts / labor was all broken down for you to see (unlike a few mom-n-pop shops) As for accommodations, they have a luch /break / waiting room with a microwave, table, snacks, coffee, nuts etc & thats a big plus. Furthermore, just a few hundred feet from them is a fantastic spot to grab some BBQ chicken or Short Ribs (Always helps when you're down for the day waiting to be get rolling) For those of you who have a dog in the truck: My dog Micah was with me as always & they treated her so kindly. Offered her water and treats (asked for permission first too). Was very happy to see this, as most shops avoid dogs like the plague & tell you to get as far away as possible. Folks, if your looking for a shop for an OTR deal or as your new local service spot... You've just found it.

Left my truck with them for a few days. Picked it up and got on the road, a couple of days later I’m doing my pre trip and I noticed that my centramatic wheel balancer were different from the ones I had before. Mine weren’t even 2 months old. The ones on my truck are old and rusted and they are making a scraping noise that wasn’t there before. Now I’m wondering what others old parts get put on my truck.

My dad has been coming here for years to get his 18 wheeler fixed. Truman has always been so good to our family. Michelle, the office assistant is really great and so nice! We will continue to come here for diesel service. ❤️

No other place I would take my truck to to get worked on... from the receptionist to the mechanic's they are very professional and they also have a sense of humor...if you are in need of getting your equipment fixed and fixed right Tri county is the place to get it done the right way .

If you are looking for great prices and the best service for your diesel truck in San Antonio, then look no further than Tri County! I came in for a pre purchase inspection. Where as other places charge $300 - $400 for just one inspection, I got two separate trucks inspected here for half that cost. The two individuals I worked with, Michelle and Randy, were both very kind and professional. They answered all my questions thoroughly when it came to describing problems with my unit and exactly how much those problems would cost. Tri County has an owner that cares more about quality of service than trying to steal every nickel and dime in your change cup. They are up front, honest, charge great rates and professional. Huge dirt lot with plenty of room to pull into and parking. Drivers lounge so you can get out of the 105° heat in Texas. Whats more to love? Check them out if you have any diesel related problems. You won't be disappointed!

Came in for an oil leak . Worked on everything BUT my problem . Left there $ 324 lighter in the wallet , problem still existed . Yes they did fix an air leak I had , , BUT , NEVER diagnosed my original complaint! Typical take the money and run shop . Hope you sleep at night , never AGAIN !!

I am very pleased with service I received from Tri-County Diesel Services. They replaced a carrier bearing on my 2016 Freightliner Cascadia, and got me back out on road with my load the next day. Charges for work were very reasonable. Michelle in the office was super! Very friendly and professional. I even met the owner, Truman, while waiting in the break room for my truck the morning after I left truck off for repair. Truman and I had a nice chat, I was impressed with him and his shop. I will definitely take my truck to Tri-County Diesel in the future if I am in San Antonio area and need service or repairs for my Cascadia.

We have used Tri-County Diesel for years for all our service needs for 6 trucks. Truman, Michelle, Randy and everyone at Tri-County is first class all the way! I noticed a review calling them a take your money and run shop that is the farthest from the truth. This shop is by far the most honest, professional and friendly place you will ever find to repair your truck.

Had some front end work done to my truck and they knock it out of the park. Its been about a month since they did the work. I didn't wanna write a review until I drove it for a while to see how it felt. This is the second time Tri-County has worked on my truck. I would definitely recommend them. They actually go above and beyond to help you out! Thanks guys!!
