Beware of what you are paying for here. The people are friendly and knowledgeable but they are going to charge you 3-4 times more than what the part costs. For example an oil filter assembly and a thermostat for a 2017 Jeep is available for any average joe to buy at car quest or any other parts store for around 325 dollars with no discounts but they will charge you just under 800 for the exact same part that they are getting a mechanics discount on. The labor costs here are pretty standard though. Be careful and look at what you are paying for here and know that if you are able to take your car elsewhere that there are places that will not try to scam you on parts.

Somehow a nail ‘jumped’ into my tire…again…for the 9th time this month 😭😭. Happened to drive by Tuffy so I swinged by to get it patched up. Joyce and Billy were amazing …seeing that I had kids with me, they pulled me in and within 15-20 minutes, my tire was patched up and good to go. When I got up to pay, Joyce said no charge…I was so surprised! When I got a nail a few weeks ago, I took it to the place where I just bought 4 brand new tires ($1000+) with them, they said my tires didn’t come with warranty bc of a certain brand and they’ll have to charge me $30 for the patch. So yes, this took me by surprise in term of their professionalism, kindness and quality service. I told myself that when it’s time to get new tires, I’ll def come back to Tuffy. Thank you Team for lightening up my life on that beautiful Saturday afternoon.;)

I did a full cost comparison after purchasing my tires here and WOW. Get ready to be fleeced. I paid about $300 MORE than comparables. Had I known, I would never purchase here. I unknowingly paid a little over $100 more PER REAR, and about $30 more PER FRONT. Compared to three other tire shops. I should’ve done my research, and they should be offering fair prices. Shameful.

I usually take my vehicle to the dealership for all service. As a result of community suggestions, I recently experienced my first non-dealership servicing on my vehicle at Tuffy- Rocky River. My oil change service was very timely and thorough. They emailed me a copy of the findings, recommendations and receipt. I will be returning again. I'm a very happy customer.

OUTSTANDING service! Every time I go there, and I may be a little distressed over the work I need to get done. Joyce is always a calming voice and a good friend, not to mention a subject matter expert at what she does! I consider her the face of Tuffy tire and she is amazing to work with!

I had a great trip to Tuffy Tire & Auto! I had a 3-year long electrical issue with the car that caused me to replace the battery every year. They diagnosed it and were able to fix it within a week! Now I can actually start my car consistently. They also fixed a 3-year long problem with my tire pressure gauges not reading any values very easily! 10/10 recommend going here!

DO NOT USE THEM! Absolutely horrible service. I went in knowing exactly what I needed done with my car: it has an exhaust leak and I know exactly where it was located. I told this to the first person I spoke with but he did not write it down. I couldn't be seen same day unless I wanted to wait for several hours but was assured they could "take care of me tomorrow" so I scheduled the appointment. I arrived for my appointment the next day and all the service advisor knew was that I was there for an exhaust leak. She had no details from the previous day. So, I explained to her exactly where the leak was located; but, she did not write it down either. Forty-five minutes later the technician came to the waiting room to ask me if I knew where the leak was coming from because he couldn't seem to find it. So, I walked out to their shop and discussed it with him. He said it made total sense and thanked me for the help. Another 45 minutes went by before the original service advisor came back and handed me a packet of papers to approve or decline services. They not only could not fix my car the same day but would need 4 business days to get the requisite parts. The packet she handed me was 5 pages of recommendations for "Other Recommended Repairs" that totaled over $9,500 in work. Many of the items had already been cared for recently elsewhere. So without conversation or further discussion, they wanted me to approve over $9k in repairs, could not actually help me with the real issue I wanted help with, and had the audacity to charge me $100 to "detect" where the exhaust leak was located. I can't even begin to imagine what happens to customers who aren't car savvy. At worst, this is a shop that piles on unnecessary charges and fees. At best, the employees are trained to perform tasks without thought or reasoning. In either case, stay far, far, far away from this place.
