I have a 2024 Mustang GT and was trying to find someone who could install a Whipple supercharger near my area. I reached out to Twisted and they told me they could get it done for me. The whipples were hard to find at the time but I ended up finding one and twisted got me in right away. I dropped my car off on a Monday evening and they were calling me on Friday telling me it was ready. It was the first 2024 that they put a whipple on but they made it look as if it came from the factory like that. I had a question the following week about my car and Shawn (the owner) got back with me right away to answer any questions I had. They’re top notch! 5 stars for sure!

Possibly the worst shop for the money, initially took my 2015 jeep grand Cherokee SRT in for a cam, and headers. When discussing with Shawn (the owner) made it very clear I don’t want anything crazy I just wanted to get rid of the cylinder deactivation. Payment was made, parts were ordered and jeep was dropped off on 12/20/2023, initially expecting a 2 or so week turn around. A couple weeks went by, turns out they never verified the parts before tearing the car apart and we were stuck waiting on shims. I take delivery of the car 01/19/2024. With the delay I felt like a bother and an inconvenience to the owner of the shop when contacting and I never got a straight answer. After delivery I notice the camshaft selected by Shawn was too large and would shake the car at stoplights, cool didn’t expect to have to take it back but more money out of my pocket because Shawn didn’t listen. It took 8 weeks for this shop to get the correct torque converter in my jeep and I got nothing to show for it because the check engine light wouldn’t stay off because the tune was incorrect, I go to change my oil and the engine and transmission were leaking. Horrible service and shady communication, take your performance wishes to a different shop. Twisted will just take your money and mess around with you.

Took my truck to get an exhaust & cold air intake installed…. The crew finished the job diligently and promptly!!!! They have some crazy projects so stop by for all your performance needs!!!

Was recommended from a coworker to have an issue with an exhaust taken care of. Called on and talked with Shawn and setup a time to inspect the car that was flexible with my schedule which was awesome already. 2 weeks later car turned out better than I feel like I ever expected. Top notch people doing top notch work. Highly recommend!!!!!!!

Great neighbor and I know good work when I see it. Built rod's when I was young started turning wrenches before I was a teenager, now I'm 53 , I see someone who really doesn't know how to fail.

I had Twisted Speed install longtube headers on my 2019 Mustang a few weeks ago and have had zero problems since I picked it up. I called almost every shop around Louisville and nobody wanted to do the install since it is a pain but they jumped on the opportunity immediately and the pricing was right. I live in Indiana so this shop is a bit out of my way but it is the only shop I will be using from now on.

Subaru 2008 WRX. Most people already know. Needed a new engine. I chose this shop because of the spectacular reviews, and sure enough, they delivered. By the time I picked the car up, Shawn (Owner) was able to tell me all the other little issues the car was having (warped rotor, wheel bearing, exhaust). He even made sure I was able to do those jobs myself. All in all, these people at this shop are amazing. They are kind and they truly care about their work.

Highly recommend Twisted Speed and Performance. After arriving in Lou. on a road trip in my LS-swapped 65 Chevelle, hundreds of miles from my Chicago home, the power steering hose disconnected. I was in a bad way with no tools, but within two hours of calling them, Twisted’s Shawn and Chance arrived with their flatbed, got my rig to their shop, and had the hose replaced with a new AN fitting within five hours. These folks know what they're doing, and they do it well and very fairly. An absolute pleasure to work with. Check 'em out!

I recently had a bottom block completely ran though at this shop. Shawn was more than helpful. Always answering my calls and text in a very timely matter. When he gave me a set day to pick up the car, that was the day it was done. Zero games are played here. Even after receiving my car back, I had a little bit of noise from the exhaust and he took care of the issue the second it was addressed. Overall a 10/10 experience and would recommend anyone needing service to go to him. His techs were very personable and knowledgeable which is difficult to find these days. Fantastic experience
