I was introduced to Leon and Jr. at Tynes Automotive a couple years ago, after purchasing a classic 63 Cadillac convertible. After talking with Leon for about 30 minutes on the phone, I Knew I wasn’t going to take the car anywhere else. Not anybody can be trusted to work on a car like this, but Leon, Junior, and quite frankly the entire team, went above and beyond to get the car into tip top shape. It wasn’t easy either. There were issues with available parts, and many other challenges, but their attention to detail, and their ability to creatively work through problems made the process so much easier. I’m grateful for their services, and they have definitely earned a customer for life. Thanks guys!

Tynes Automotive is a great shop. Leon and his team of mechanics definitely take care of your vehicle, if it's for something small like an oil change or a much more involved job like replacing an engine or transmission. You can trust their work for quality and attention to detail. I have taken my vehicles to Leon for the past 15 years and will keep going to his shop.

From the day they moved across the street I started bringing my fleet of vehicles to Tynes Automotive. What a relief it was to have Leon and team right next door. It's the attention to detail and understanding that my trucks run all day and if they didn't run my guys didn't work. Leon and his team stressed preventive maintenance, it's not a myth, and I believe it kept all my work truck with hundreds of thousands of miles running strong. They not only work on my trucks, they also work on a lot of my equipmentand.They take care of my personal vehicles and the vehicles of friends and family. They are valuable member of our team.

I have been using Leon to work on my vehicles for near 20 years. I'm not sure what brought me to his shop but glad I did. It's really hard to find good diagnostic mechanics and that works on diesel. I did see a bad comment on here which there seems there is alot of holes in her story. So don't listen to her look at all the other 5 star reviews. No more looking for a good mechanic he is right here.

I would NOT recommend this place for Jaguars. Dropped the car off last November got it back before Christmas only to find the new steering rack they installed was rattling also asked them to fix the transmission and was not done, then returned the car on December 27 for them to keep ot till 5/17 to get it back still broke because the speed sensor in the transmission was to hard for them to find and replace. Dropped the car off at Rodney's Transmission in Fredericksburg 5/19 sunday and the car is ready and fixed on 5/21. Also would like to add I had tynes install a new diehard battery the first round and at pick up the second round the battery was plum dead and had to be jumped started. The transmission shop said this was a easy fix and obviously the parts are readily available.

If you need a professional mechanic, this is the place before any other person touches your car!! The owner truly cares and it shows just by the photos in his office. The man knows motors in and out. So glad I found this place. My car runs better than when I first drove it.

Leon is the man. I had a couple mechanics look at my Cobra 351W with carburetor and they couldn’t figure it out. Leon found a few things wrong and fixed them. My car has never run so good. I’m so grateful

We had an ambulance that was four hours from home that started having an issue that we were able to diagnose over the phone, unfortunately the distance made the repair impossible for me. These guys were amazing and helped us get our staff back on the road quickly and with a fair price.

Had multiple things done to my truck, had it nearly 3 weeks and charge me 1500.00 more then quoted price. Had seat repaired and handles are on backworks, buttons dont work and back seat is broke also. Never have i been taken advantage of this bad and going to make a call to BBB. Do not recommened this place at all

I received a recommendation from a friend to use this place. He said this place was great. I have used a couple places in the Woodbridge area and honestly the ones I have used have been good but what they could do I was not very sure they could fix my car. One flat out said they could not which was good of them to be so upfront. Tynes went over and beyond my expectations to get what I thought was a small issue but actually was big fixed. The cost was also much lower than I anticipated but either way I absolutely loved using this place. I highly recommend using this shop.

They say in life that you need a great lawyer, a great dentist, and of course a great automotive mechanic. I'm happy to say I have an incredible mechanic with Leon and his family-centric staff at Tynes Automotive. Tynes's always does a full and thorough inspection when they first receive your vehicle. The work they do is uncompromised and repairs are completed to the highest standards - nothing is leaving the shop half-fixed or repaired using marginal parts or processes. Leon and his staff are always timely, provide great communication throughout the process, and are a bargain for the high-quality work they provide. Do yourself a favor by taking your vehicles to Tynes and check at least one person off that list of must-have professionals in your life.

This is a great shop. Leon takes good care of your car or truck and gives you the full truth about what your vehicle needs for repairs. They don't try to up sell you on work, they do make sure you know about other issues you could be facing in the future with your vehicle so you can plan on those repairs.

We stop here to help with a car computer and the owner was so gentle and easy to deal with, the shop was super clean and all tools organized, the technicians working on very specify cars a very nice place to improve or upgrade high level cars

Great Service, Good Prices, and they work quickly. I had a window problem that my normal service station would've charged over $450 dollars for, Tynes estimated the work at $300 right off the bat and were able to get the car finished in about a day. I will be bringing my cars here from now on.
