Nice guy but i will not call him again., I knew it was my altenator. But he came out and said it wasn't. My battery kept going dead. He said was I leaving my lights on. No I wasn't. Had it tested again it is the altenator. Misdiagnosed mine .

We broke down halfway through an 11hr drive with alternator problems and Ty was the only one willing to come out and help as everyone else was either “too busy” or closed. He showed up and went straight to work, every mechanic we talked to said it would be a 2-3hr job and he had it done and we were on the road in just over an hour, not to mention he was there until almost 2 hours after he had closed for the day. If it weren’t for Ty we would still be stranded off the freeway until Monday evening when everywhere opens back up. All this was at such an affordable price as well as it was under what any other place had quoted. If you're in need I definitely recommend giving him a call,, he will be the first one I call if were ever broke down by Birmingham again.

I called to get my water pump changed and he asked me at what time and he said any time that was convenient and I told him what time and he never showed up and I called and they said that they were working on another vehicle and that they would call back and tell me at what time they can change my water pump but they never called back. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID.

Great experience from the phone to in person. Ty and his team came and replaced my driver axle in about 30 minutes. I told them it was like NASCAR fast 🤣. The service was quick, thorough and I’m back on the road. Highly recommended. Thank you!

Misdiagnosed my car, didn’t even send the text of what all I needed nor did he go into detail about what was actually wrong, basically ghosted after lol which is wrong either way, car wouldn’t even stay crunk. Waste of money.. wait on your personal mechanic chile.

He answered and showed up within 15 minutes on a Saturday. He was so nice and professional. Our issue ended up being an easy fix and he didn’t charge us. I hope I never have to but if I need help again he will be my first call! Highly recommend. Thanks Ty!

He got to work fixing my car the same morning I called him. He fixed my alternator and saved my job. No one else was willing to help me on a Sunday but he got back on the road the same day. Friendly and willing to help.

I tried to set up a several times with this business and when I called he never bother calling me back and I been leaving text message I called twice I wouldn’t bother trying no more because everyone else keep telling me to go to him and when I did the outcomes wasn’t great and hard of hearing trying to reach out

Solid guy. Had to revisit the rear brakes and drums of my car thrice: first for the drums, then the rotors & calipers & hose, and then a third time to connect the brake line hook to the clip. Reliable & affordable service through it all even though I’d hoped for a nice discount having driven myself for all three repairs 🌚. Worth it working with Ty though.

This guy is horrible.... promised me that he would come on a certain day and never showed up. Called him again on that day and he said he was busy. His customer service skills are trash at best. PLEASE DONT GO TO THIS GUY.... go somewhere else

Very unprofessional and disappointing. I called Ty out concerning a popping noise under my vehicle. Instead of fixing the issue and assessing the primary issue, he navigated to smaller issues that meets the eye, resulting in over $700 in out of pocket expenses with no RESULTS. He proceeded to point out issues I "described" not using his own discretion or diagnostics ( but mine though I'm not a mechanic by far) to make a final assessment of the actually problem ( which is my jackshaft). He then suggested that I purchase a strut to fix the issue ( which I did) after test driving my vehicle from his "fix" which was another $300 that still DID NOT correct my issue. He further acknowledged that he knew it was my jackshaft because he had a hard time with it but did not establish this finding to me until I called with a complaint. I had to go to MAVIS (out of all places) to get a simple alignment just to find out it was my jackshaft this entire time. Not only that but the axle he put on my vehicle was very loose upon his completed assembly. He has since been unavailable to resolve this issue. I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND unless your looking for a shade tree mechanic that you can tell what to do or does brakes and oil changes. I will be pursuing a lawyer for this matter and would like to warn others NOT to support this business especially if you have small kids and front end issues that could result in possible death IF anything breaks or goes wrong.

Absolutely would use Ty's Mobile Mechanic again! I expressed interest in watching what he was doing so I could learn how to do it, and he talked me through everything he did. The auto parts supplier ended giving me the wrong spark plugs, so Bernard drove me to the store to get the correct parts...never have I seen a mechanic go so above and beyond for a client.

Called Ty mid afternoon on Saturday, 7/23/2022. No other mobile mechanic in Birmingham would answer their phones or return my messages. Within an hour, he arrived to repair my car. He then quickly finished the repairs. He did a great job and was extremely timely!! Price was very reasonable. Would definitely hire Ty again.
