Absolutely fantastic service from these fellas. I have a 2008 Nissan Titan that was giving me the absolute fits for a year, and not even the Nissan dealer was able to help me out. After getting set up with an appointment at Ultimate Automotive, these guys were able to promptly diagnose the intermittent crank-no start issue and get it fixed within a week. I was always told that with foreign vehicles, you're better off taking it to the dealer - that certainly wasn't the case here! These folks do great work and have earned my business.

I called on a Sunday and left a message for someone to call me back on Monday because my car died in the Wal Mart parking lot. No one called me back so I waited until mid morning and spoke with a nice gentleman who told me that he would look up some pricing and call me back. That was 2 weeks ago and it has been crickets ever since. I never did hear back from them. If he didn't have time, I wish he would have just told me so I wasn't waiting and stewing about it. Our initial call was under 1 minute. I can't imagine that someone doesn't have 1 minute to call me and tell me that they are too busy. I read the reviews and chose this specific location because of their good reviews. Guess not!

Always great service. Knowledgeable, friendly, and affordable. Ultimate Automotive was able to accommodate my needs and fit me in in a very reasonable time frame. They ran a diagnostics test on my car to determine what exactly was wrong. They explained the issues and the urgency of them, ultimately providing us with the option to take care of them if we’d like. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Had oil change and coolant flush/refill a few days ago here. Checked coolant level today and it was waaay below minimum. Should've checked asap, so you do the same.

I was referred to Ultimate by my dealer for some warranty work, and they were great to work with. They explained the warranty approval process to me, diagnosed the issue, handled the claim to the warranty company, and completed the work very timely. As it turned out the car died 2 days before the work was scheduled, so I had it towed to shop late in the evening, with no expectation they'd get to it early, I just didn't want to tow it twice. However, they did indeed get to it early for me so i wasn't without a vehicle. They were great!

I would not recommend this place to anyone. You should go to 12th Street Automotive instead! The repair work was ok. My truck was leaning severely to the left, and now it's only leaning partially to the left. The main problem was with communication. There was hardly any! At first, they gave me an estimate of around $600 for repairs. Then, after some complications, the total was somewhere around $1050 plus change. However, when I went into the office, the guy who rang me up said my total was more than $1500! When I challenged him about it and showed him the text, he went and talked to the mechanic. Turns out, he was gonna charge me an extra $300 for some brackets that they never used! These people don't know how to keep you up to date on your auto repairs and I would recommend that you take your business elsewhere!!

I’ve have vehicles serviced and fixed at Ultimate Automotive 3-4 times now. The staff is professional and friendly. They have a nice waiting area for customers. Each time I call to schedule, they do their best to find the earliest available. If they say the vehicle will be ready to pick up that day or next day, it always has been; no surprises. Fair and reasonable cost which is greatly appreciated! This past time, they were even able to give me a ride so that I could give my vehicle home before the end of business day. Highly recommend.

Never bring your vehicles here. You will end up leaving with more issues than you started. Service writers are just plain Negligent and have no accountability for their wrongdoings.

Please please be aware of who you are doing business with if you use this shop. Especially if you are a woman or out of towner! .we left my wife's vehicle[one that is mechanically maintained] here to do a simple oil change and suspension upgrade. Been a nightmare since. Leaving the shop the vehicle that worked perfectly fine prior now wouldn't surpass 40 mph and has a loud clicking noise. Upon taking vehicle back to shop . Check engine light appears...leave vehicle..they tell us the tires need to be replaced cause they unbalanced the vehicle and if we wanted to do it with them . We take It to discount tire cause they offer warranty. Get new tires . Car still doesn't work..turns out a shock was over torqued which fixed the clicking and i guess the speed over 40 issue but still check engine on ..anyways been back 4 times trying to resolve issue ..each time they say keep vehicle a couple days and call and say vehicle is fixed and good to drive then a day or 2 later problems back again .finally spoke to the owner he says drop it off again we do ..first time driving it after leaving his shop ..my wife is left stranded vehicle ,stalls out and wont crank we call back they "dont hear our voicemail" finally got a hold ofsomeone .one service writer says they fixed a hose other says nothing was done to vehicle and it fixed itself ..upon talking to owner again turns out the real issue is we didn't buy the tires with them bought our parts online and only wanted to pay labor how do we expect him to make money ..truth finally came out says he will need to give money for them to fix the vehicle . I guess it was just a "coincidence" my vehicle's parts started breaking the day they worked on it ..according to him I'm lucky he went above and beyond diagnosing it in the first ..you know even though the vehicle literally had issues leaving the shop ...just a coincidence everything on my vehicle broke at that exact day they touched it ...since first doing business with them on first invoice..vehicle has been driven 136 miles total that's including whatever the tech drove during diagnosis..somehow not their fault tho

This shop is a hidden gem! I live just a few miles away and was referred by AAA today when my battery died and AAA didn’t have one in stock. I called and talked to Cole, they didn’t have the battery in stock. He said they may have one available and would call me back. Within 10 minutes I had a call back from Cole stating the battery was on it’s way. He stated the battery would arrive within an hour, it would take 20-30 minutes to replace and they could get it done right away. After making several other calls, I was thrilled and drove right over. They offered to shuttle me back home however with the quick turnaround, I opted to stay. I noticed when the mechanic started my car again they didn’t need to jump it. I was told they’d check the batter before replacing it. It did have a bad cell so it was replaced. Also, the original quote was higher than what I paid. I’d rather have an over estimate than under. Pleasantly surprised in so many ways! The lounge area is very nice and clean. Water, coffee, several chairs, Wi-Fi and a clean bathroom. My return call from Cole was at 10:43am and I was on my way home by 12:30pm. I also worked with David who was fantastic and explained my warranty and answered a few other questions I had. I drive a hybrid so not all mechanics will work on these vehicles but Ultimate Automotive will. Another positive I will mention is the shop didn’t smell like cigarettes, oil or anything else some mechanic shops smell like. It’s never fun to have a surprise expense but on the positive, I have found my mechanic in Sioux Falls that I trust and am grateful they are trustworthy and close to where I live! Update: May 2023 Came in for an oil change. David brought out my filter to show it to me and gave me the option to replace. He was pushy at all. Oil change took a little over an hour. They sent me a 26 point inspection report, very detailed. Still highly recommend!! There is a very good reason they were voted local best.
