After ordering 4 tires I received one that was deformed on the sides. I contacted them on a replacement and later that week I had it on hand. They gave me a prepaid label to send back the bad one. All the tires with the replacement were received in good condition, as advertised. I wouldn't think twice on ordering from them again. I saved over $400 while getting good used tires.

Get them balanced elsewhere. I got my two tires balanced along with the install and a few days later I hear a humming coming from the tires. I check the tires and I see the weights fell off. Bad work done on my car. I recommend Orlando’s tire shop on north avenue.

I mailed a letter to the Illinois Attorney General expressing my concern about the sale of defective tires. I've been researching the negative aspects, and I wonder where you are sourcing these tires from. It is very likely that someone will sustain a serious and possibly life-changing injury due to these tires you are offering.

Ordered 4 tires. They showed up quickly. One of them was patched. Upon installation, the patched tire would not hold air. Ended up buying one tire from the tire installer and installer just recycled the patched tire. United Tires refunded the full cost of the patched tire and even refunded the installation cost even though the tire was recycled and I could not send it back.

Very Happy with the one used tire purchase. I had one tire out of alignment and would not pass inspection. The tires in that line were no longer available new. I did not want to purchase 4 new tires, because my other 3 still have 80% life left. I have had this used tire on for several months and had no negative issues. VERY HAPPY! Thank You!

ONLINE ORDER. I read reviews on Reddit that said to not buy from United tires, yet I did it anyways. Lesson learned. Bought 4 Michelin cross climate 235/55/r19 since it snows here. All were within 8.5-9.5/32. All DOT dates were within the past 2 years. I ordered online and they were delivered promptly (the best part of this entire experience) since I live near Rockford. My local tire shop that I was paying to mount them called before I even made it home to let me know that one of the tires had a huge gash near the sidewall that could not be repaired, and the others had patches (which I was aware of) but the bigger problem (that was NOT disclosed) was the feathering present on all tires. The local tire shop said that feathering can impact the tires safety, especially in slick weather. So I wasted almost 500 bucks (PLUS WHATEVER THE TIRE SHOP IS GOING TO CHARGE ME FOR ALL OF THIS). I called United Tire customer service. Talked to Alana. She said if I sent photos, she would refund the tires since they are not safe or usable and my local tire shop could just dispose of them. So I got a ride back to the tire shop. I sent photos of the gash and called back. Alana said she needed a write up from the tire shop explaining the feathering since it can’t be photographed easily. So the shop did that and I sent that photo in. Gave it a few mins and called back and spoke to Joe. He said Alana was busy but that he knew what was going on. He said that they did not have any replacements to send that weren’t in worse shape/leas wear than what I currently had been sent (that’s not great news for everyone else buying from them). So he said I need to somehow send these back to them. I have a spinal fusion and cannot lift tires. He said he could arrange a pickup, but obviously they are still at the tire shop… so I have to just leave the tires there and hope someone else takes care of it? I explained all of this to Joe and he said that he would send one label for each tire, so that I could put labels on them and fed ex could get them at the tire shop. Upset and at a loss for words at how bad the customer service had been, I said okay and we ended the call. He emailed me two labels after this and said there needed to be two tires per label. I emailed back and told him I did not have a banding machine nor did the tire shop and my tire shop guy said he couldn’t help me with that. I emailed back (the email correspondence came from Brian Collins) and said that this is not what was agreed to and I needed individual labels so I could at least tape a label to each one. The guy refused and said I can just use clear tape to tape TIRES together for fed ex transport. I kid you not, CLEAR tape. I use to work for the post office and have seen how well that works out. They insisted on having these tires back for resale? even though they are not safe for road conditions. Also, I guess I’m suppose to hope the tires don’t go missing while in transport or while they are sitting at the tire shop waiting for someone to come get them? And on top of this purchase being awful and stressful; at this point I’m sitting at a tire shop and my old tires have been taken off and the “new” used ones from United tire that I had the shop mount can’t be SAFELY used (especially with winter weather in a fwd vehicle) and my tire shop put one of my old tires back on since the one tire was not fixable so now I have to make an unplanned $1200 purchase for actual NEW tires because I have small children and need my car (safely) and can’t just not have (safe) tires. It put me in a bad position and that’s really the worst part of all of this. I could understand some flaws being missing here and there but not all 4. I should’ve listened to the other reviews I had read online, buyer beware, they are gambling with people’s safety here.

One of my tires needed to be replaced due to road hazard damage, and I wanted to find a replacement tire that was the same model and had similar tread depth to minimize the risk of damage to AWD due to outer diameter difference between tires. I bought a used tire from United Tires online website with 50% remaining tread life for 20% of the price of a new tire, tire was shipped to my home and arrived exactly in the condition described. I brought tire to local tire store to get the tire mounted and balanced. I used the website's online chat feature to ask for DOT manufacturer date code and if the tire has been repaired. So far, the used tire is holding air and performs exactly the same as the other tires. I wish this info was directly shown on the website product page instead of having to ask chat.

Another update. Love my tires. Still need to get 5 for the RV and a spare for the truck. Almost paid off my affirm payment plan with them. That made the purchasing even easier. Set up for a year, paid both purchases off in 4 months or less. Easy on my wallet all around! Update. More tires! Got a set of 2 new mud tires for my truck, love them! Can not beat their prices or their fast and free shipping! Not even at my club stores can they touch Utires pricing and speed! Will keep referring to this company. Love my 2 used truck tires! Way cheaper than local, free shipping & excellent quality! Getting a new set of 2 for the front after this review. Gonna get 5 rv tires as well. Already shared their link on my socials. I work at an auto repair shop and have referred several customers here already, as we don't do tires and just wanna save them money. Love this company so far. Will update as needed.

BEWARE!! Positive reviews are very deceiving. Check their eBay feedback where there is recent thousands of negative feedback and complaints with no resolution. If you care about your & your family’s safety do not buy tires from here!! Horrible dishonest business practice With very shady customer service and CEO. They knowingly sell defective tires! Not only is this dangerous, but illegal. Will be reported as a formal complaint to the BBB and the state of Illinois for further investigation. Received multiple unevenly worn, completely torn up tread tires. Even damaged sidewall. Tires that will not pass a vehicle inspection in any state. Customer service gives you the runaround by attempting to give a partial refund of 10% or ship out a replacement junk tire. The return process is long and tedious. They also mentioned that “uneven treadwear is in their fine print”. Had a tire shop look at the tires and they said its dangerous to mount them, even mentioned that most likely this business gets tires that are already dumpster recycled and they resell them online. Their business practice is unethical, deceiving and illegal and will be investigated further. Attached is a photo of an example of a tire that was advertised to be 8.5/32 But was actually 3/32! Complete scam. DO NOT BUY from UNITED TIRES or their ebay store!

I bought four tires and when we were installing them, we noticed on the inside there were two spots that were melted with additional rubber when we looked outside there Were small holes that had been filled with rubber and sealed, which makes no sense on a brand new tires. I wouldn’t get them installed. I’m returning them. We’ll see how that process goes. ….. update the people at customer service couldn’t have been kinder. They explained to me that I had purchased used tires. I didn’t realize that for some reason and they were good tires. They looked brand new so it’s not their fault that they sent me for and they were patched very well, but I have a sports car and I live in the mountains and it’s important to me that I have high performance tires and I didn’t realize it when I bought them. I’m sure that worked just fine on normal driving conditions so I’m changing my rating

Excellent experience with this location came in for tires for my 2021 interceptor. The gentleman greeted me soon as I walked and I told him I was looking for, he gave me multiple options at different price points and helped me pick the right ones and ones that fit my budget, Saved me a lot of money and was able to get the tires ordered and put on within 24 hours and had the wheels balanced as well. Very happy with this experience and will continue to shop here.

I purchased a set of winter 4 tires which arrived promptly. I had them mounted and noticed that they lost traction very easily on dry roads which were cleared of snow. During a routine service interval I mentioned this to my service tech who examined the tires. He told me that they should be replaced immediately as the date of manufacture was over 13 years ago and the rubber compound had degraded. United tires asked for photos and an installation receipt and then told me that I only had 7 days to return the tires after purchase. How many people think to check the manufacturing date on tires? United’s policy clearly indicates that tires are checked and old tires excluded! Apparently you get what you pay for. Stay clear of this firm.

Initially I thought this was a good deal, after waiting for a delayed shipment, and waiting for an appointment to get the tires installed I found that one of the tires had a HOLE in it. So had to get it plugged. Not a good deal at all. Lesson learned.

Never in my life did I consider buying a used tire, much less buying one online, and from Chicago (I live in Houston, TX). But six weeks ago I wanted a fifth tire to match the OEM rubber on my 2-year-old car, so got to lookin' and found one at UTires.com. Bought it, brought it to my local tire shop where I've done business for 20 years. The manager there blessed the tire and installed it, and it has been rolling nice for a month. Then, as [bad] luck would have it, I picked up a nail in one of the other tires. Total loss - DANG!! So I again went online, found another match at Utires.com, and ordered it. Now that's two used tires I've bought online (who'd've thought...). I love the Utires search engine, which even allowed me to specify the tread depth. Sweet. Good tire, good price, easy buyin', great service. I expect I'll be buyin' a third and fourth down the road!!

Overall, it was a great experience to purchase the tires. Everything was easy to figure out, no hidden charges or fees and very fast shipping! Definitely would recommend to buy, for the company's transparency and great variety of product. However, my only not so great feedback, is that one of the tires (purchased set of four used tires) is slowly loosing pressure. Unfortunately, now I carry a tire hand pump in the trunk of my car and inflate one tire once a week or so. Again, the purchasing experience was great and overall no complains with the tires, but due the one tire issue, my review is only 4 star. However, will keep my eyes out on deals and might use their online store for future tire purchases.

The tires I bought from United Tires recently were good, except Discount Tires rejected to mount them due to missing plug on the patched hole. Several tire centers (including Discount Tires and Firestone) require the following for patched tires: 1. Plug on the hole 2. Vulcanized patch. So for about 4 times already, I have to find another tire center to install them, and was more costly than using Discount Tires.
