Recently, my radiator broke, and I went to Universal Automotive Service. They inspected the car right away, gave me a quote, and quickly got to work. The car was fixed and returned on the same day. Everything was done efficiently and without delays. I highly recommend this service!

I find their service to be fairly priced and completed in an efficient manner. I believe John is a trustworthy owner and operator. As a Honda pilot owner it’s the only place I go to. I recommend this repair shop for anyone driving a Japanese vehicle.

Great honest mechanic, very impressed. I had a problem with my girlfriend’s car. I called three places before going here around 1pm in the day. They all said they were busy and told me to come another day, they also quoted me an estimate that was double what I paid for here. When I called this mechanic shop, John he told me to come right over even though this place seemed busy when I arrived. He took care of the problem right away and was out of there within 20 minutes. The work was quality and he did not try to upsell me at all. John has a client from now on and will be going here for all my mechanic needs.

I would never take any of our cars anywhere else, and haven't for over 20 years! Trust them totally. And what more could I ask of the establishment in charge of the vehicle I spend way too much time in?

I've lived in Lincoln Heights my whole life, and I wish I'd come here sooner. I got a tune-up done this morning, and my car was done and ready to go in less than an hour. John was great! He was quick, cordial, honest, and gave me the same prices he had previously given me over the phone. I highly recommend this place to everyone!

I am a HUGE fan of Danny !!!!!!! He is definitely the "bad boy" of the shop and John is the well behaved brother - quite spectacular in his own right but no one can compete with Danny's rugged animal magnetism !!!!!!! It's hard to get an appointment with Danny as he's usually traveling the world from Brooklyn to Bangladesh or competing in the MMA but if you are lucky enough to stop in when Danny is there, all I'm gonna say is if you're female, bring an extra pair of underwear !!!

I called John asking if he could fit my car into his schedule and he was kind enough to accommodate a same day service. My brakes were acting funny and he replaced the master brake cylinder for me. Fast, reasonable, honest, and very helpful.

My splash guard got shredded and was scraping the ground as I drove I went on a day where they weren't too busy and they were able to pull off the broken one in a couple of minutes and install the replacement when I got it a week later Extremely fair price. Very friendly team. Will be returning in the future for anything they're able to do 😁

When I lived in Cali, this was the place to go for vehicle repairs..John is a super nice guy with a gr8 team there with him..always fixed my car right, always charged me fairly..I wouldn't of trusted anyone else with my car....thx yall for yalls super awesome service..I miss ya!

The service was excellent and fast and the price was the lowest I’ve ever seen for a synthetic oil change. It’s rare to find honest mechanics, but I really trust John after this great experience. I’ll definitely be back anytime I need any service they offer here.

Always a quick visit. Had a major tune up, oil change, tire rotation. Was shown my old parts, which made me feel better. As a woman , you never know with auto service. Price very reasonable. I recommend this place.

I've been going to this shop for about 6 years and they've always done me right. John is a great mechanic and he's to the point. He's always tried his best to get me a good deal, and I've never had problems with my car after his work. I definitely recommend this place. Finding a good mechanic isn't always easy, but you can find one here, I promise you.
