I was referred to Uptown Auto Repair by a colleague and could not me happier with my experience. My husband and I are new to Austin and have definitely found our mechanic and body shop! Nassar and Nasrin are honest, hard-working people who love what they do. I cannot recommend Uptown Auto Repair enough!

I have been going here for 22 years. You will never find a more honest, knowledgeable, fair, and kind family (Nasser and Nasrin) mechanic in town. Even when I lived 2 hours outside of town I would still find a way to get my auto needs done here.

It feels impossible to find good car mechanics that you can trust. Uptown Auto is by far the best mechanic I've ever been to (and I've been to a lot...sadly). They're actually honest about what your car really needs, what you may need to think about for future repairs, and what is best to do if you're on a budget. They're also wonderful to chat with. The first time in my life I've looked forward to going to get my car from the mechanic! If you're looking for awesome people, honest repair estimates, and incredibly reasonable pricing, Uptown Auto is your place.

It is rare to find any business that affords you the trust and confidence that you will feel when you entrust your car to Nasser. He will not only quickly and accurately diagnose your vehicle’s problem, skillfully resolve it but then also try to do it as economically as possible. He and Nasrin and wonderful humans and they’ve been taking care of our cars for almost 20 years. Could not recommend them more highly!

I've come here several times for several different car things and every time it's been such a great experience. Nasser is honest and his services are priced fairly. His wife Nasrin is also very kind and accommodating. Car things usually stress me out, but coming here puts my mind at ease because they are honest, knowledgeable, and all-around a pleasure to interact with! This is the only car repair shop I have ever gone to with full trust that they are giving me the best possible service at the best possible cost. The owners, Nasser and Nasrin let you know your options ahead of time and are happy to discuss which repairs you can/should prioritize to keep your vehicle in good shape. They are really wonderful people and they definitely know how to take care of your car

We’ve been taking our cars to Nasser for 17 years. He and Nasrin have treated us like family and consistently demonstrate a level of care that I’ve never seen at any other repair shops. They keep our cars running safe and sound at a great price and are generous with their humor, wisdom and friendly conversation. It’s one of those rare places I’m happy to spend money because it’s going to the best people around.
