Uptown provides professional, timely, quality, excellent service. Bonus-- they are friendly while doing it. There is no other place to take your precious cargo in the Bay for the best fix and repair. They do what they say they are going to do and do it well!

This place is hands down the easiest shop I have ever worked with. My car was brand new and someone backed into it. I called Uptown and they handled everything for me. They got me the rental and took me to pick it up and when my car was ready they let me drop off the rental with them. I seriously couldn't have had a better experience. Exceptional service. Highly recommend!

Inasmuch as I really dislike having an accident, I am so glad that I have Uptown Body and Fender! The service is impeccable all around. The admin staff are incredible; they worked closely with the insurance company on my behalf and kept me informed throughout the repair process. They also arranged for the local rental car company to pick up and drop-off. The work done by the auto body repair staff is top-notch, I don't know how they do it but my car looks brand new! Best of all is the owner Giovanna - so kind and clearly committed to excellence. I would not go anywhere else!

They did a quality job with my car and worked with an uncooperative insurance company. No games and straightforward interactions. They even took care of some minor issues that the insurance was not responsible for, which cleaned up the entirety of the car body. I would have no problem recommending them or using them again.

Adding another rave review for this spot. Took my car in after a goat ambushed us on the highway. They were super easy to work with - explained the damage they saw, gave a clear estimate, and were flexible with my drop off and pickups. When they found more damage than we realized and didn’t have a necessary part locally, they provided me with two options to get it fixed. I’d come back here in the future, but let’s hope I don’t have to!

Best place around! After my car was hit, they helped me from start to finish. They even contacted the insurance company when things weren’t moving fast enough and BOOM, next day I get a settlement offer. When it was determined my car was totaled, they put me in touch with some people willing to buy the car off me. I will never go anywhere else for any of my body shop needs! This is the place and these are the people, for me!

Uptown did an amazing job on my Subaru Crosstrek. It came out of the shop looking brand new. Lauren was a pleasure to work with - super responsive, explained things thoroughly and worked directly with my insurance company to get everything covered. All of the staff there is always friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Hope to not need Uptown anytime soon, but will always use them if needed and highly recommend.

Uptown is my go-to body shop because it's staffed by knowledgable professionals who treat me with utmost courtesy, honesty and respect, and they work well with my insurance company. My car is always perfectly repaired and even cleaner than when I bring it in. On top of that, the business is beautifully appointed--I love the art and decor!--and it is centrally located. I couldn't be more pleased.

This is THE Best auto body repair shop in the whole east bay, in my opinion. The service, professionalism, friendliness, detailed work is beyond what you might find elsewhere. And it is women owned so it’s a very safe, welcoming space. In fact, the office is like walking into an art studio and library, where the first thing they ask is whether you would like coffee/tea/hot chocolate. Unmatched!

After experiencing two separate accidents within just six weeks, we had to get our car repaired twice, and Uptown Body and Fender exceeded our expectations both times. Getting my car repaired at uptown was a great experience! They worked directly with my local dealer and with my insurance to get the estimate processed within a day, and had all the parts the next day and started working! The whole repair took about a week, which is incredibly fast and made life so much easier. The people I interacted with were helpful, transparent, and friendly. The quality of the work, paint, and assembly looks flawless to my eyes and they cover their work for life, which is a huge bonus for paint work. I highly recommend going here for any body work and repairs. If your experience is anything like mine, you'll be pleased you did.

The best of the best! Their staff is amazing, kind, and responsive. The repair fit exactly within the estimated timeline. They handled all the insurance stuff etc once I filed my claim to where all I had to worry about is (1) when to drop off my car and (2) when to pick it up. Hopefully I never need a body shop again, but if I do they will 100% be getting my business. P.S. say yes when they offer you an espresso drink :)
