I have only been here a few times to have a few minor/routine things done on my car, but haven't had the best experience. The first time I came in it was for an inspection. I also had a coupon for a free brake check. I came in first thing in the morning after they opened, but only one person was running the shop and said he couldn't get the system up and running until a different person came, so I had to pay in cash for the inspection. They also forgot about the brake check and had to spend extra time putting my car back on the lift to look at it. I came in a second time and needed my oil changed, my tires rotated, and my front brakes replaced. I was on a time crunch at the time and when they finished and I went up to pay, the person informed me that the brakes couldn't be ordered in time, so they didn't do them. I then made an appointment with them for the next Saturday for just my brakes and paid for the rest. They sent me a link to an itemized receipt, which I actually liked, that showed the amount I was being charged, what work was done, and what balance was left. When I came in for my appointment, the place was busy, and they said it may take a bit longer, but no where close to 2 hours when I asked how long. I waited for 1 hour and 45min when they told me it was done. When I went up to pay, there was a difference in amounts from the previous time I went and the amount they were charging me for that day. When I asked why I would have paid less money a few days ago than for this appointment, they said there were other taxes that were not added on the initial receipt. I think they forgot to add it on my initial receipt and thought I would just over look it when they added it on the day of my appointment. But the fact that they tried to cover it up and avoided the blame that they forgot initially, even though it wasn't a huge difference and I was just genuinely curious about why there was a slight price difference, it gave me an off vibe. On top of this, I overheard a different customer complaining that she spent over $1600 on a repair that one employee said they did, but the system says was not completed, so either they are scamming people, or there are major communication/training issues within the establishment. Overall, the work was done, I haven't had any issues with my car since, the prices were reasonable, and the itemized receipt is clear and convenient. However, with the amount of issues I had with timing, wait times despite an appointment, and the miscommunication with the price, I will not be coming back.

I’ve come here many times even when it was Steve’s auto shop and always have a good experience. They have fair pricing and are communicative. I spoke to multiple people, Jason, Mike and Aaron (off the top of my head) and they were nice and patient with my questions. Thanks again.

Specialist told me price to change knock sensor was 225 brought it in a few days later and same person tried to charge me 370 then when I told him what he had said a few days ago he brought the price down to 255 money grabber scammers ! Even then i agreed and was told my car would be done and ready in about a hour and a half and I come back in a hour and they haven't even touched the car yet don't do business here

Being new to the city of Houston (I have been speaking for 4 years), I found out about this service center where they treated me with such kindness and honesty. That became not only my trusted workshop but that of my whole family. Fast , reliable , safe work and fair prices . They are located in the heart of the city between Richmond and Galleria Houston. Its under new management but the service is still as excellent as before. Ignacio has been here for the longest time inspecting the cars.

Oil change was fast checking the place not so fast. I was here almost an hour. I believe this will be my first and last time here. Time is money and when I can’t go out and about to make it fast enough there’s a problem.

I like how this company is pretending that just because they changed their name and manager, that they are a completely different business. It's obviously got the same person writing the same indignant responses to negative reviews, that part definitely didn't change! Still won't return.

This shop saved my weekend and they went above and beyond for me! After diagnosing the issue they got busy fixing it but it was a l9nger job then expected do they stayed late and del7vwred Mt car because I was hosting g a 90th birthday party fir my dad and had to be back at work in Dallas the following Monday. They made it all happen and I am forever grateful!

Charged 10,000 and replaced with junkyard parts. 4 months and still does not work. This place was great but new owners are crooks and Lie. Every time I go back to them their story changes.

I'm from Connecticut and my daughter had car issues. She went to Steve's Auto. Very professional, great communications. Turned out to be a big engine job to replace the water pump. We got the car back without issues. Great job! Big relief so far. Pricing was fair, repair on time. THANK YOU!!

I came to this location this morning and was a little upset on how they operate. For one I went in for an inspection, oil change and I even proceeded to let them rotate my tires. The oil change alone was expensive. It was $125 for the oil change . Now if I would have asked for the best synthetic oil then I would understand the price but I wasn't even given an option on oils and prices. When I asked, and I was given the response "its the best synthetic oil for your viechle...." Now, no biggie, I just found it misleading and pricey, but my major problem was how I noticed there was grease on my grey seats when I drove away from the area.

If you are not going to Steves Automotive then you are missing out. The customer service that is offered there is amazing. Jazmin works at the front and from the time i walked in to the time I walked out she was there the whole way. Thank you Jazmin for all your help. Very friendly Staffing, Lesley was very helpful. This year also I have done my inspection at Steve's Automotive ( Galleria) they were friendly and prompt. 10/26/2022 I done the inspection for my car also this year 09/12/2023 and was happy with the service, Priya was very friendly and helpful. For sure I will come back again next year to do my car inspection at Steve’s Automotive.
