So I called urban auto repair and I asked him on the phone. If they are willing to work on my truck I happen to have a 03 Chevy avalanche. The dipstick tube was stuck in the engine block so I asked him on the phone if they were willing to tackle that they said no problem, so as we were setting up an appointment, I asked them if it was OK for me to drop the vehicle off at 8 o’clock in the morning and possibly pick it up around lunchtime because this is my only vehicle and I do not live in the town they said no problem. If they see anything going on, they will give me a call, so I dropped my truck off at 8 o’clock in the morning. I got a phone call at 3 o’clock in the afternoon asking me what they needed to do to the truck I explained to the person that I talked to on the phone at 3 o’clock, that the dipstick tube is stuck in the block and it needs to be extracted and to put a new dipstick in , that’s all I want Done About an hour later, I got a phone call saying that there is no dipstick two piece and they installed the dipstick so my truck is ready to be picked up I got a ride down to pick up my truck and I asked a gentleman where was the piece of the dipstick tube and they said it was in the center console you must’ve already removed it I advised them know I did not remove the piece that’s why I brought it to you so apparently now instead of extracting the dipstick tube it’s now rolling around in my oil pan that cost me about $250 I believe it was and now I have to do the work myself anyway it’s not difficult to put a dipstick tube in the hard part was trying to get the other part out without it in the oil pan that was my Story it costed me $250 to do the job myself. Thank you.

Brought a classic car over to get the brake system serviced. Mainly the brake booster adjusted to have the right pedal feel. I also wanted the brake system to be inspected along with a leaking freeze plug. The car was brought in and was sitting for 2 weeks without being looked at and the only update was there is no update. I understand it might not be a daily driver or machine for a business but when you are paying like everyone else I feel that it should still be at least evaluated timely. When they finally diagnosed it they talked over what is recommended and what the estimate is. The repairs were approved. However, the car performs worse than it did before and shakes violently when you apply the brakes. Which wasnt the case before. Something that was driven with joy before now only gets driven out of necessity to get fluids circulating. The radio is also not working. Possibly a wire got tucked when a different wiring harness was being cleaned? They did say how the car wasn't starting right away, but it was off the road for several months. They replaced the battery without seeking prior approval and I did not realize it until I got home to file the invoice since they had usually been trustworthy and only did the work that was discussed. The battery was only 6 months old and I would have liked to see if it would charge or if there was any warranty from the place it was bought at. However, when it was brought up that it wasn't cleared to be replaced it only fell on deaf ears, unfortunately. I used the shop for multiple cars and repairs in the past since they always had good customer service with decent work. But I guess the home town mechanic feel and customer service is slipping. Likely will not return. And have to get the new issues repaired.

Morgan took great care of our Tundra after the dealership screwed it up. He had my husband in and out for an alignment. Let my husband know that the dealership had pitched in the front so much it destroyed his tires, after they did the last alignment. Truck will never go back to them and we will let Urban take care of it. Thank you Morgan for the friendly service and great work. Can truly tell a difference.

Phenomenal, is the best way I can describe Urban Auto. Staff that I dealt with was polite and professional. Had an alignment done yesterday and was in and out in 20 minutes. Went back today for a brake job, I was originally supposed to to drop off and return later. When my ride was unable to make it Morgan said he would see what he could do. Even with him helping other technicians he was able to get me taken care of in an hour and a half. All for a reasonable price. It’s hard to find an auto shop that’s worth a damn these days. I have to say I’m impressed.

Very good services! The help and understanding from this shop/owner is tremendous! Morgan has always done a great job! The young lady up front is so helpful and very sweet! I always appreciate the services and work they put into ensuring your vehicle is safe and drivable! I highly recommend this shop! I constantly go back to this shop for any help because my car is getting wear and tear! They always do a great job! Thank you!

It’s somewhat difficult to find a place that can sharpen mower blades, and this place is one of the few. They are always genuinely kind and are attentive to the work they do, even with something as seemingly small as sharpening a mower blade. Three out of the four times I have used them to sharpen a blade, they told me it was on the house and did not charge me the standard fee for the service. The last time I was there, they had me taken care of in ten minutes. What this means is that someone chose to stop what they were already doing in order to promptly serve me for free! This is the kind of place that has earned its right to grow and flourish as a business.

I’ve brought my lawn equipment and several cars to Urban for service since they first opened. Morgan and crew have always been honest, and straight forward with what I really need or don’t need. So I trusted him fully to look over and make recommendations on the truck I just bought. Always a trustworthy experience.

Updated 8/24/24 Brought in a push mower to get looked at. Had this same mower repaired by this shop before with no issues. Unfortunately not this time. Was told it would be cheaper to buy a new one. Wasn’t the best news, but understood. They said I could leave the mower or pick it up. Talked to a few people and scheduled to come in on a Saturday. Got there and the tech (David) found my mower but he’d have to call someone. After talking to someone (Drake), he said there was a diagnostic fee. I asked if I could talk to Drake and was told he was not going to call him again. I could either pay or come back during the week. I don’t have a problem with a diagnostic fee, but wish I knew that when I took the mower in or when i talked to multiple folks during the repair. I didn’t even get any paperwork when I dropped the mower off, just a “we will call you and let you know”. Do not recommend, thankfully it was just a mower and not a vehicle repair. These guys are the best! Came in with a leaf blower / mulcher that was barely a year old. I didn’t want to spend a ton since I could’ve just replaced it. They took a quick look at it before taking it back to the shop and came back a short while later with it running. Turns out it was a safety switch that wasn’t functioning correctly. They fixed the switch, replaced the gas, and said I was good to go. Great price! I can’t believe how affordable these guys are. I will definitely be coming back for any lawn or auto needs in the future. Pretty legit and honest dudes in my book.

My mower was dying easily and took it here for maintenance. They quickly diagnosed the problem, and were honest to me about the cost of repair, and that it would likely be better to replace it than spending more money repairing it. They helped me find a new replacement mower. I appreciate how quick and honest they were.

Took my car in for an alignment. They said they weren't able to adjust it because of worn parts. Asked if they can replace the worn parts and they said they didn't have enough people there that day. So I paid $80 for literally nothing. Not sure why they accepted the project if that was the case. Incredibly upsetting. Go elsewhere for alignments.

¡¡¡I will never go back to this place!!!!! I took my four wheeler to them Jun 21st to get the carburetor replaced they told me, to drop the four wheeler with them and they will get it done by Jun 28th so i dropped the Atv, I call them Friday Jun 28th to check If the atv was done, well this lady name Jennifer Pimmentel told me that over the weekend some one cut a hole on their fance and they gonna tell me the only piece of equipment that got stolen its my atv, she said that they had a police report and also filed a claim on their insurance I know, sounds kind of fishy doesn't it, well the lady told me that they were responsible for the atv and they was gonna pay for it, Jul 2nd I went to talk to this guy "Morgan" at first he said tha the insurance wasn't gonna cover it, but he was gonna be nice and cut me a check for $1,500 dollars, when I paid $3,038 for the atv, i told him to give me $2k he refused, I say I will sue the shop, he said go right ahead, he told me that I was gonna waist my time and money, as I was leaving the shop he told me to think about it, I said ok, as soonest I got home, I got a phone call it was Morgan again, he call me to tell me that the $1,500 dls offer it was not longer available because I did mention when I was on their shop that it was pretty messed up to bring your property to their shop and they are not telling customers they are not responsible for loss or stolen equipment, I will highly suggest to the community to better find another place or at least ask wherever you go if you piece of equipment it's gonna be left outside of main building where can easily get stolen, like my Atv, yall have a great day!
