I asked a friend what mechanic he used in our area and he recommended Urban Autocare Uptown. I’ve only ever had great experiences here! Everyone is attentive and kind + knowledgeable. I had my windshield replaced once, at home, and they accidentally cut the line to my windshield washer fluid. I didn’t know who to go to about it, but I called Urban Autocare and they told me to bring it by. Someone looked at and fixed it right away, sending me off with a smile. This place rocks! I highly recommend them.

I’ve been taking my car here for years. They were always very communicative and provided great service until my last visit. I booked an appt for an oil change more than 2 weeks in advance and dropped my car off at 8am. No communication all day long. I called the shop 2 or 3 times in the afternoon to get an update but nobody answered. I left a message and tried calling again. When I finally got Ed on the phone he was rude and gave the reason of having 15 cars come in for why he hadn’t gotten to my car yet. When my car was finally ready after 5pm he did discount my service but offered no apology for keeping the car 9 hours and not communicating. And those 15 cars he complained about were all gone when my car was finally ready. I hope it was just an off day for them but not sure I’ll be back.

Amazing customer service! Car was stalling out and they were able to squeeze me in within a few days despite being booked out for a couple weeks. Very quick and responsive, and they were gracious when I asked for more time to think over all the repairs to figure out what I could afford now vs. later. Fair quotes and great work as well. They’re my go-to’s from now on. 10/10 recommend!

Honest guys - they didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need. I had a coolant flush done and my engine bay came back cleaner than when I had dropped my truck off.

Excellent customer service and communication, and really fair prices compared to another shop (I came here for a second opinion) - even when I had to bring my car back shortly after initial services to be re-evaluated, they were quick to getting my car back in and worked with me on costs. Will definitely be back!

I've really enjoyed taking both of my cars to this shop. They're very communicative, answer all of my questions, and went through their entire diagnostic report with me. I got to see pictures of how everything was going and each aspect had a red/yellow/green scale to show the severity. Extremely helpful into understanding the state of a vehicle and build trust with this shop. I would recommend this place to anyone who has had bad experiences with car shops in the past!

I can’t thank Jermaine and Zach enough for their incredible help. I was in a tough spot with a burnt-out light bulb on my vehicle and needed it fixed fast. On short notice, they came through and got me back on the road in no time. What really impressed me was their professionalism and the care they showed in handling everything. UPDATE: Changed to 5-stars! Zack called me right away and scheduled me for the service I needed. Throughout the process, I received several phone calls updating me on the status of the repair. Thank you for addressing my concerns! I was excited to find this place as a referral from a coworker, they make scheduling easy and are very nice and personable. I took my car in for a 90K inspection, received a check-in text and photos of my vehicle right when they opened. By around 3pm, I hadn’t received a call regarding the status of my car, so I gave them a call and they said they were running a little behind but they called me right back and we went through the list of recommended services from their inspection. Due to the time, they were unable to complete any of the recommended services that day which was totally understandable. Since I needed my car back, I scheduled one of their service recommendations for a date two weeks away. A few days before the scheduled appointment, I received a text confirming my appointment and I dropped my car off before they opened. This time, I didn’t receive the check-in text or any photos of my car. By 2pm I hadn’t heard anything so I called but didn’t get a call back. I called again at 3pm and was asked if I had taken my car to the right location since they didn’t have it in their system. We later found that they did have my car and I got a call about ten minutes later with the diagnosis and a price estimate. Again, it was too late in the day to get the actual service completed. When I called back to again schedule the service, the price was double what I was quoted an hour earlier (another easy mistake which I understand). At this point, I chose to not schedule and when I went to pick up my car, I was charged an $87 diagnostic fee. I am really frustrated with the communication I received. I had to call several times to receive updates on my car and I am not even sure they had my appointment in their system. It was disappointing to have been charged the diagnostic fee when the price or process was never communicated along with the other miscommunications. I am disheartened with my experience because I was looking forward to them being my go-to shop in Denver.

I was desperate to get my AC fixed in this 95+ degree weather. I called 8 locations around Denver, and truly, this was the only one who was immediately friendly and helpful. The process to drop off my car was incredibly easy, and the team was very quick and responsive. This feels like a one-of-a-kind business!

The guys who work here are great and so nice. I dropped my car off after working a night shift to get my oil changed and yearly maintenance and I was able to pick it up once I woke up. They got me an Uber home also. They always do a great job and never tried to oversell me things I don’t need, which I appreciate.

Been going to Urban for about 4 or 5 years now. They’ve always been exceptional & friendly (shout out to Zach!)….most recently they had replaced a starter for me, it went bad early, I brought it back & they didn’t bat an eye at honoring the warranty work…matter of fact, when I brought it back to have the warranty work done on the starter, I mentioned I was hearing a noise when I turned the steering wheel sharply & wanted to have them check that out as well…by the time Zach hit me back to get my car returned to me, he was like, “we checked that noise & it was ur axels, we did that job for you at one of our other shops, & those were under warranty too, so we already replaced em & ur car’s ready to be picked up”🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 Tell Urban Auto I preciate those mfers 💯 Quality, fair garage to take ur vehicle💯
