My car is my life line. I wouldn’t trust my car with anyone else then South Denver Urban Auto Care. The Staff is polite & trustworthy. The technicians are very knowledgeable auto mechanics. I took my Jeep here recently for exhaust issues and couldn't pass emissions. After they did a diagnostic on the vehicle, they noticed faulty wiring. Replaced that, and guess what? It passed emissions after that. You guys rock and will be bringing my Jeep there every time. Thank you so much!

Urban Auto Care on Evans was absolutely incredible! I went in for something with my car. I had them do a 100,000 mile check on everything and they found things I didn’t know about! They send you pictures and videos so you know that what they find is legit. You get a price and what the plan is before they do anything! The customer service is 100% top notch! I’ve been in twice and I feel like I’ve been there 100 times! They put that “ Mechanic stereotype” to rest! Paying for your car to get fixed always sucks but if you need something done they take care of you! I needed to bring my car back to double check something and they will make sure they did it right and if not make sure they will follow through and fix it! I’ve been to many mechanics, and by far this place put a new and better feeling for having to take your car in! I’m not much for reviews but hands down if I need my car fixed I trust them!

They’ve addressed some serious issues that are expected in a high milage vehicle allowing me, a non mechanic, to be confident the vehicle is reliable around town and the mountains. Give them a try . I have used 2 of the Urban Auto Care locations, since their inception, and they are the best! I live closest to the 701 E Evans location so that is where I bring all 6 of the cars my spouse and kids drive. Urban will give you as much explanation as you desire for your car's issues at that time.

I took my 2018 Nissan Rogue to have the oil changed, the tail light replaced and the drivers side “clunk” checked out. During the process I was told the clunk was due to needing a tie rod, so I was prepared for a huge bill. When I went to pick up the car, I was told they discovered there was just a loose bolt and the original part was just fine. However, they replaced my blinker light and the problem wasn’t fixed. Since I was trying to go out of town, I’d need an appointment for time to trace the wiring to find the problem when I returned. . As it turned out, I learned that there are two bulbs that may work on this car. I dropped by later in the day and asked if they could just verify that the right bulb had been installed. It turned out that yes the right bulb had been installed, but the cord had come unplugged. The Foreman whose name is either Dan or Ron (sorry, it escaped my memory) worked for an hour to fish the line through a very small opening and finally got it plugged in. He was amazing! He was so pleasant and diligent, I can’t be more grateful and I highly recommend their service! The upshot is that if they weren’t concerned about their reputation and honesty, they could have charged me for a new tie rod and I’d never have known the difference, but they took the high road and saved me hundreds of dollars. I’ll always use Urban Autocare on Evans.

Incredibly kind and patient people. Stopped here because the computer in my jeep was glitching out and my windshield wipers wouldn’t stop wiping on their own. Joe was kind in hearing me out and the technician Robbie helped get it fixed in only a few minutes. Highly recommend this place.

Most trustworthy and transparent mechanics I’ve worked with! I’ve gone to them for a few repairs now. Tim (south Denver location) is wonderful with very clearly explaining issues, ensuring your comprehension, and getting your permission to move forward with things. I think they’re quite reasonably priced for the quality they provide.

Urban Autocare was able to fix my vehicle when other shops refused. The initial price was unreasonable but in my situation they were able to work with me to assess other options. They were able to finish the work in a timely manner and provided frequent communication. Upon pickup a trim clip was missing but they were able to solve this free of charge. Overall a good experience. Have not been able to find a better mechanic for my vehicle after trying 5 other establishments in my area.

Urban Autocare was very helpful with my car, I arrived with a problem with my car and they went above and beyond by checking everything that could be checked on the vehicle. They gave me a call to let me know all the problems (a few of which I had no idea about) this was very helpful to me and made me feel like I was being valued. There was a few instances where they ran into issues in the process of fixing my vehicle but they were very kind and explained it would be at no cost to me and even cut me a deal where I bout a part at no install overhead as it was a easy fix in the moment. Overall they were very helpful, kind, and transparent all the way through. They definitely will have my business again and I will gladly recommend. Plus they offer free lift rides to get your vehicle!! The guy on the phone (Tim) and another woman I spoke to with where very kind as well and could handle every request and concern I had with ease.

Urban autocare are top class. I went here to get a second opinion from my old garage (which isn’t too far in distance which is bonkers) and they came back with a much more thorough spec of what was happening with my car, better explaining what my options were, and overall a much better price. My old garage was charging me $1500 for a new radiator and install where Urban Auto came back with a much better price. They clearly are not there to rip you off and are incredibly professional. Could not recommend them more and they will forever be my garage as long as I live in the Denver Metro Area

A couple of days ago, I found an issue with my brakes due to a bad mechanic, so I went to Urban Auto Care in Lakewood. They did a great job fixing the low brake pedal! However, my brakes still make noise after driving for 5 minutes. I went back to this location, hoping they could figure it out. I left Jo a message asking them to check the emergency brake (EB) and explained that the brake pads become noisy after driving for about 5 minutes. I dropped off my car at 7 AM and spent almost $100 on Uber to get to work and back home. At 4 PM, they sent me more pictures of the brake fluid and pads, similar to the ones I received from the Lakewood location, but I’m still hearing the noise after driving for 5 minutes! I also had to pay again for this inspection. I’m really frustrated. I expected them to check the emergency brake, rotors, and calipers, find the root cause, replace any part that needed it, and provide me with an estimate. Unfortunately, none of that was done, and I feel like I’ve wasted both my time and money! “ Phil thank you for the response , I brought my car to Urban Auto Care because I needed a proper diagnosis for the brake noise. I knew that the mobile mechanic had only replaced the brake pads, and that’s why I trusted your shop for a more thorough inspection. I waited several days for an appointment and paid for a diagnostic service—not just once, but twice—across two of your locations. After waiting all day for the check, the only advice I received was to go to a car wash and splash water on the brakes. This advice didn’t solve the issue, nor did anyone suggest replacing the rotors or offer any clear solutions for the noise. If I trusted the mobile mechanic fully, I wouldn’t have come to your shop in the first place. I came to you for professional ASE certified expertise and a solution, but instead, I left with the same issue and an unsatisfactory recommendation. Now, your response to my review is that I should go back to the original mechanic. This feels like an attempt to shift responsibility rather than address the work I paid for at your shop. I expected a thorough diagnosis and clear guidance, but I did not receive that.”

I cannot say enough great things about Urban Autocare - great service, quality work, and fair price. We had an older model Honda S2000 that had not been driven for 5+ years. I had it towed to Urban Autocare and it was back up and running within 7 days at half the cost we expected! We thought it would take months. We had been told it had a warped head by a Honda dealership. Jo kept us up to date on every step of the process and was so friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. The reports they provided via email were very detailed and the invoice was broken down clearly by parts and labor for every single service.

Jo in particular is fantastic, she explained everything to me in terms I would understand, has so much patience, and treated me with nothing but kindness and respect throughout the entire process. They cross threaded a lugnut and I didn’t discover this until sometime later. When I raised this with UA they replaced the broken stud free of charge. Thank you for standing by your work!

Thoughtful and communicative auto shop that regularly sends coupons to their customers in their footprint. I've used them for a number of tasks I don't want to do myself and they've been reasonably priced and through. Edit as of 10/24: This shop no longer installs customer supplied materials, something they did not communicate to their scheduler prior to me bringing my vehicle in. They have previously done so with me for years, but only offered to do the work at double the labor rate "to make sure we make enough money off the work since we usually profit off parts and labor". This is not my expectation for an independent shop and I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Urban Autocare was recommended to me by a coworker and I have had nothing but great experiences. They are very transparent with you on what services are needed and how urgent they are - they don't just try to upsell you on everything. The staff provided an uber back to work and communicated throughout each service. About a year ago, I had a transmission service done and have since moved out of state. I started having some leaking and long story short- with very few questions asked - Chester took care of it for me and had me get the repairs needed even out of state. I think he was even responding to me on his day off. The kind of customer service that Chester and his team provide is unheard of nowadays. Jo was also a big help during this process. I would trust these guys with any vehicle and highly recommend!
