I just want to tell you about my experience with Valero Auto. Right off the bat, the owner needs customer service experience. I had all my front steering done with them and they left my idler arm loose, loose like the nut was all the way at the end about to fall off. That should've been my "red flag." I decided to let them install a brand new engine, and I still regret it to this day. It was very unprofessional and too many mistakes to list. I had to keep taking my truck back several times, inconveniencing my wife because she had to look for rides since I took her car while my truck was back in the shop. They didn't have the knowledge to make any of the mistakes right, not to mention they only have one mechanic at any given time. They can't seem to keep any mechanics. I had to take my truck to another shop to get it fixed right. The owner of Valero auto is not a nice person, and I let him know that. I did business with them because they are a small business and I like to help small businesses. If you're thinking about using them, you have been warned. If you think they're cheaper than any other reputable shop, think again. Bottom line is, they're two levels beneath a shade tree mechanic with dealership repair shop pricing. I will never use them again.

I have been bringing my vehicles to this family owned business for 8 years. The team at Valero Auto Service located at 11114 N. Eldridge Pkwy Houston TX has always treated me fairly with competitive pricing. They have never tried to inflate their prices on parts or labor and they do not try to have work done to your vehicle that is not needed. They thoroughly inform you of the work that needs to be accomplished and try to forecast any upcoming expenditures to assist you with planning out your budget. If you are looking for an honest auto repair shop, look no further.

It's nice to find a place where you feel well treated and also they offer a good and professional technical service. Experienced and from the "old school" mechanic, who doesn't stick to the book, but also go beyond by his own expertise. A great guest experience!

This is a great repair shop. It's family owned and they treat you like part of the family. They are honest and they offer fair prices. They teach you about your vehicle so that it can last a very long time. My family loves this shop. And you will too.

Andy, the owner is straight shooter who knows his stuff. The best mechanic there is Chris, ask for him by name, and tip him well he is worth every penny. Took my truck in and diagnosed the problem quickly and had it fixed same day.

This place sucks I went before my inspection sticker was out of date I have illegal tint. Went and had tint removed went back then they say it's too late my stickers out of date and then they won't give me my new sticker and I have to go all the way on the other side of town to get my sticker at the courthouse when I came there beforehand. Bad customer service guy seems like on drugs. Horrible attitude bad customer service will never go back.

Depending on the day of the week and the mood of the two guys that run the desk there you might get your car serviced or fixed. They might also just want to argue with you. Unless you just want them to do what they want charge what they want and don't ask any questions stay away. The prices on the board are just for show. They want to fix things that don't need fixing, they are looking for easy money and take advantage of women who don't know anything about cars. I wouldn't recommend this place of business to my worst enemy. They are more interested in eating than they are in taking care of business. Nothing worse than someone with a bad disposition who is eating pizza while conducting business. Maybe they should open a restaurant. The food would probably be good.

Absolutely HORRIBLE service. The guy argued with a customer in front of me, then argued with me. The customer wasn't sure what he needed, and he was asking the guy behind the desk for assistance... Only to get an annoyed employee (or owner) arguing with the customer.
