Destroyed My Engine I went to this Valvoline Express Care on 11/27/2024, for a routine oil change (Invoice #2627590). What should have been a simple service turned into a complete nightmare. After the oil change, I drove for about 20 minutes and stopped to check the oil level. To my shock, the dipstick showed NO oil at all. I immediately returned to the store, and the staff confirmed that there was no oil in the engine. The manager, Frank Stevens, topped it off but made ridiculous excuses, such as claiming the dipstick on my Honda Civic is hard to read (which is nonsense). Another employee even asked if they should drain the oil, and someone else replied that there was nothing to drain because no oil had been added! Due to their negligence, my engine has suffered severe damage. My mechanic has confirmed that the engine now needs to be either rebuilt or replaced, along with labor costs. When I brought this up to the manager, he offered me a laughable $15 discount on a future oil change—as if I would ever trust them again! This store’s incompetence has destroyed my car, and I will be suing them to recover the damages. Avoid this place at all costs if you care about your vehicle.

They were courteous, professional, and worked quickly! I was lucky to be able to pull right in without waiting. Well worth the very reasonable price and I was grateful to be able to receive a car wash and be able to vacuum my car; both services included with the oil change.

Wow this place is awesome. Oil change with free car wash. I will definitely be back here for my regular oil change! And they were super fast with the oil change. Didn’t wait at all.

Amazing service. Very kind and informative workers. I got an oil change for $80 which included a free car wash. I was waiting maybe 15 minutes total (probably more like 10) for them to top me off and send me on my way. Recommending for everyone.

Quick oil change at a reasonable price with a free car wash? Yes, please. Not a lot of upsetting and you will be in and out. Today was my second time getting my oil changed at this location and I could not be happier. It is also next door to the Babylon Market which is the best place to get lunch in Sacramento in my opinion. The market has a wide variety of produce, a bakery that makes fresh bread all day, and a butcher shop with high quality halal meat, but the real gem is their hot bar which makes the best Sharma and kabob sandwiches on bread that was just cooked in their open fire ovens. It should not be missed by anyone, and after you get your sandwich, you can drive next door and get your oil changed.

Friendly staff, great and quick service !!! First time someone changed oil so quick and without any appointment, it took less than 20 minutes, plus they gave me complimentary car washing.

I'll never go anywhere else again. I have a high-mileage Camry and they always have the fluids I need. They check everything and top fluids off. They advise me about any issues and are respectful. Best service ever - plus I get a free carwash!!!

BE AWARE! This place isn't trustworthy. I'm never going back here again. All 4 of my tire pressure was taken out of my brand new tires. This was literally done as an intentional act of the person in charge.

Frank took care of us, he was kind, professional. Took 10 minutes, for an oil change, got a free car wash. Couldn’t be happier. Frank & Josh the technicians working under the car were very communicative on what steps they were on & verifying their work, specs for the drain plug, correct oil, all fluids & tires topped off, the works. Great service- got my oil changed there for the second time yesterday and thought I should write a good review. I have a diesel car and this is the best priced oil change in all of Sacramento. Costs me around $90 when the dealership wanted $300 and the other places was around $160-200. I love that they don’t price gouge here, won’t try to upsell you other things if you don’t actually need it, not everyone can afford $200+ oil changes. If you spend a certain amount they include a free car wash! And yesterday because it was rainy they said I could even come back when it’s not raining for my car wash that was included. Customer service is top tier and they don’t require making an appointment! It’s a drive thru service and they can change the oil while sitting in your car, or you can go wait inside the lobby which is what I personally like to do but either way it’s super convenient. They also send you coupons for $10-$15 off your next oil change. I will only bring my car here for oil changes
