Valvoline Instant Oil Change

I drive from Los Lunas to come to this Valvoline but today they were extremely lazy and didn’t do half of what they normally do. I had to ask them to check my lights. The attitude of the guy that was working the computer for my car and the next car just didn’t seem to care. Usually I get really good service and they are on top of it.

I have an older car with very low mileage. They are honest as the day is long. I have gone there twice in the last year only to be told the oil is fine. They checked and topped off some other fluids and sent me on my way.

Went to them for an oil change and was told the gasket was too tight and to go back where I got it done so I drove to the other Valvoline off of tramway and they said he took it off with just his fingers. They stated they get this ALL the time when the manager isn't in at this store.

Do not bring your vehicle here. Their lack of attention to detail will ruin your vehicle. They installed my filter wrong and destroyed the oil housing cap. They told me "our oil change comes with a 3 month warranty so unfortunately it's out our hands" will never bring another vehicle there.

This was my first visit to Valvoline with a friend's recommendation. I was greeted by Samuel on arrival. After a short 5 minute wait they began my oil change. They also checked all my lights..and filled up my tires. Samuel was so very friendly and explained the process and also their findindings. There was no high pressure sales tactics at all..just the facts. Samuel was very knowledgeable and so helpful in answering my questions!! He is truly an asset to this company!!

Riley and crew did an awesome job with replacing the transmission fluid in our CVT transmission. Answered every question like a professional, quoted a price and stuck to the price and he and the crew were very friendly and did they work very professionally/efficiently! I would highly recommend and I will be going back for future services.

They always get me in and out in 15-20 minutes and it's not that much more money than doing it yourself. I would rather pay an extra $10.00 and not have to climb under my car and get dirty

Brought my car in for an oil change and a transmission flush. Technicians noted air filter is fine and offered services for oil/transmission. Two weeks after service, brought car to another car service to have brakes and rotors done (nothing to do with previous services). Upon their inspection of vehicle, transmission fluid was low and dirty and air filter was nasty. Subsequently, one week later I personally checked oil and it was 3 quarts low and COMPLETELY black after 800 miles. This triggered a cam-shaft warning of misfiring cylinders. Car passed inspection 2 days prior to these warnings with no burning oil/issues. Did they really do the job they charged me for- ABSOLUTLEY NOT! Their lack of service and details cost me an additional 300$ and my time. Would NEVER use this vavoline again and we were a valvoline family.

Absolutely horrible service. Parked here to see about getting an oil change, I asked them if they had my oil filter and they informed me they didn’t have the filter or oil for my Kia. Since they didn’t have the materials for service we decided to walk across the parking lot to get coffee and the “manager” proceeded to yell at us and act childish by telling us we couldn’t park there. I informed them there are no signs saying valvoline parking only and we are just grabbing coffee. He proceeded to mock my wife and was incredibly rude. Absolutely horrendous brief experience here and will not get oil changed here ever again, also they broke my air filter last time. Go far away and get your oil somewhere else. Childish manager, couldn’t believe his attitude and lack of professionalism.

Great team at this location! I realized I had a low tire on my way to the grocery store, stopped in hoping they might be able to put some air in the low tire. They were very courteous and helpful, they checked and aired up all 4 and got me on my way! You have a good team there, thank you so much!

I have never had a bad experience here, and this time was no exception. I got in immediately and the staff was very friendly and fast. People say the price is high, but it's pretty standard for an oil change - and if I do it here, I know it'll be done right and I won't have to worry about it.

I was also told that they don’t work on my vehicle because a “sensor located under the oil filter breaks to easy” so they have “strayed away” from working on my vehicle, on a Ford. I have never been told that at any other place that changes oil, why would a place that specializes in oil changes say it? Perhaps they didn’t want to work…

Really needed a oil change and they refused. Said they told me last time that I had to get my catalytic converter that was stolen replaced first but they never said that last time. The brake masters down the street was very helpful giving me a quote on a replacement cadylic converter and changed the oil so my engine stayed is safe now.

Terrible service, I called to ask about a battery available. They told me they were too busy to check. I went here on another occasion and they forgot to fill up the oil after changing it out. Corporate is aware.

The staff was friendly. However, be aware of any coupons you may be sent through email or text form "corporate". This location does not accept them, and you're left with a much higher price, and a feeling of distrust. Definitely worth visiting any other brand.

Very very rude “manager “ I pulled up in the morning and immediately was swamped by all the workers, when I asked simple questions the manager was rude and condescending, when I said I wasn’t sure then if I’ll get my oil changed there and proceeded to park to check my phone the “manager “ started telling me I need to leave or I’ll be towed? Went there and after waiting an hour when i was told it would be 20 mins they werent able to do the oil change cause they didn't have the filter
