Fast, friendly service. It’s really all you can ask for these days. They acknowledged me when I pulled in. The wait wasn’t very long. Once my car was in the bay I was out of there in less than 15 minutes. Everybody was polite. I highly recommend this location! Thanks again!

Poor service, stay away, there are other Valvolines not far away. They had three open bays open and they directed me to pull into line in the only occupied bay behind another car they were working on. Two of the three people I could see standing around with hands in pockets and after a few minutes, when a customer they seemed to prefer over me came in, the same person directed them to another bay and started immediately to work on that car. I left and went up the road. This one had two bays both with cars and I was still done in less than 10 minutes. There were fewer people working at the second Valvoline but they had their act together sooo much better.

Employees at this particular location don’t seem to care or take pride in their work, which is an unusual outlier for Valvoline. Normally Valvoline employees are fantastic at typical locations, but these ones consistently don’t seem to care. Not sure if it’s a management issue or what. I’ll drive further to go to a different location next time.

I’m very pleased with the service conducted today. Was my first service on my new vehicle, hesitant at first due to quick lubes bad reputation. Valvoline proved me wrong, with their quick and thorough service. Awesome people!

Hubert and Oscar were incredibly kind and helped us get in and out quickly. I cannot possibly emphasize just how good our experience was and how Hubert and Oscar went above and beyond in helping us. They're not just great technicians but fantastic humans.

Manager was rude with a lil like oh well attitude I wouldn’t recommend this store . I’m very frustrated & had to go to Randolph rd store they were nice & very helpful

Brought my really old truck in for its first service in probably 4 years. Hubert looked it over and recommended a few services to get it running smooth. Due to its condition, he wasn’t able to perform all of the recommended services but that didn’t stop him from finishing what could be done. He was thorough and honest which is what I look for when taking my vehicle somewhere for service. I’ll happily be recommending this place to others solely based on how Hubert treated me during my visit.

READ YOUR RECEIPT I really hate writing bad reviews. However, given my experiences with this store, I'll make an exception. This is the last time I will go to a quick-lube place! I visited this store twice to get an oil change on my previous car. So I decided to return to get an oil change for my new car. My worst mistake. To be clear, my car was not leaking oil until I brought it here. I stay up to date with all my car repairs. I brought my car in for an oil change on May 30th. A few days later I noticed an oil spill in my driveway. So I took it in on June 2nd to get it looked at. I was told, "It was our fault, we did not clean up everything, and I had a small valve cover gasket leak." I thought okay, let me go ahead and get that fixed. After driving 5 hours to another state, I once again noticed an oil leak under my car. I took it to another location on June 9th, who immediately called this location to figure out what had happened. The technician there told me the filter was installed improperly. I then drove home and still noticed my car was leaking. Tired of the back and forth, I took it to the dealership. They informed me that I needed a new oil filter housing due to the damage caused by the initial filter being improperly installed. Of course, I needed to be reimbursed, so I created a claim with customer care on June 10 for reimbursement for a driveway cleaning and the dealership bill. It's been almost two months and no one has reached out to me regarding the claim. I've spoken to countless customer care reps and upper management has not reached out. Except for the assistant store manager who said he would give me a callback. He did not. Management says they call but I have no voicemail or anything. They didn't call. They tell you anything to get you off the phone. Regarding the repair they only mentioned what was on the receipt, about all repairs having to go through Valvoline, meaning they couldn't care less. I even spoke to the store manager, who said the same thing. Honestly, who has the time to go back and forth, especially after I took my car there again to get it looked at a second time, Why would I take it there again, for you to tell me you fixed it and it will not be fixed? Please if you want to save money, a $30 oil change is not worth spending hundreds of dollars out of pocket later. Do yourself a favor and visit another location. Management is friendly until you have a problem. Don't be fooled by their friendly staff. They don't care about your car or your wallet. Do your research and find another location that will provide you with the care you deserve. I learned my lesson.

The two gentlemen were very professional and helpful. I was in and out in no time. Jeryck was friendly and professional. Keem took care of my oil and topped off my fluids. They were knowledgeable regarding my vehicle and the services I needed. I recommend this location.

BEWARE! My recent and certainly will be my last stop to this Valvoline service center (Northlake Mall), was the absolute worst customer service experience I have had in over a decade. This entire Team, as well as the Area Manager, appear to be fully committed to a culture of incompetence, negligence, unprofessionalism, and utter dis-respect. Two out of three customer care representatives were exceptional, and quickly helped me to escalate my concerns. I was forced to call, because there was absolutely no accountability at the shop level. At times the Staff, including the area manager was outright rude. All staff completely denied any and all possible negligence on their part. (see complaint letter) Letter to Corporate: I need to pass on a very serious and possibly, catastrophic issue with my vehicle as a result of not one, but two in-experienced Valvoline Staff at your Northlake W. Dr. in Charlotte, NC 28216. I traveled from WV to Huntersville to be with my Sons for the Holiday, unfortunately shortly after getting off the road, my coolant light came on. I was very surprised, however, I pulled in immediately into this location, looking for help. Two very young men approached me and asked if I had an appointment, they were nearing closing time. I explained the issue with my 2010 BMW 128i convertible. Both guys appeared as if they knew what they were doing, and opened the hood and said my coolant was gone! I was surprised again. They quickly filled the "HOT" reservoir then asked me to turn the heat on high, I did exactly as they asked. They said I was good to go, and I offered twice to pay, they said it was no charge, I was now pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately by the time I got near my Hotel, my entire front of the car under the hood was smoking, with hissing noises! I stopped at the first Advanced Auto and asked them if they could help me figure out what happened. I explained to the service guy what had just taken place and he said, the procedure performed was incorrect and for certain, the incorrect coolant was used! I was mortified at the thought of loosing my car over such an issue as this. I left my vehicle there overnight to let it cool, and first thing in the morning I attempted to take it to a closer Valvoline, which said it was open online, even on Memorial Day, but it was not! Once again very surprised and incredibly irritated with the un-professionalism! As it stands, I have had to extend my stay in Charlotte and then take my vehicle back to a close location, and expecting for this issue to be completely rectified, so that I may return to my home more than 5 hours away safely. I have been going to another oil change service for over five years and was short on time so I decided to come here. I was nervous at first but Bobby was a total professional and gave great service. Quick and easy service, no frills, and they did not pressure me to get extra things I didn’t need. They offered me a coupon and made my experience really great! Will definitely come back for future service!

Hubert is the best! He’s changed my oil twice now, and is always so friendly and customer-centered. He gave me advice about car buying, about how to take care of the 2005 Corolla car I have now, and where to go to get my starter checked (since it makes a different sound when the car starts). Hubert is the reason I go back here for oil changes!

I had such a great experience at this Valvoline. I definitely recommend Hubert/Buddy if you stop by. They got me in and out quick, and he was very kind and helpful to me. The space is very clean. I will be back for my next oil change.

Buddy will take good care of you! He’s very knowledgeable and good at what he does! I really appreciate him educating me and showing me things so I can know more about my car. Service is also quick even during rush hour after work!
