First-time customer, just had a really good experience here. Jonatan was very pleasant to work with, and the rest of the crew was friendly and professional as well. I was in and out quickly and never felt pressured to agree to any additional products or services. The crew communicated really clearly amongst one another throughout the service, which was comforting. They also performed a quick courtesy check of all my lights and air filters. Will definitely use them again.

Came in for an safety inspection..asked the guys if i would pass..moments later.. guess I automatically failed due to tint did a quick walk thru tapping body parts. They had my hood open for a brief 10secs.. There out to get me I guess! Easy $23 Barely 30secs paid, didn’t received a bill or anything and hurried me out of the bay 1🫣. I pulled my tint off and hooped back in line waited an hr and I passed… As I left that place headed toward the highway , I almost died my hood came flying up Im still shocked 😮 Thank God my hood strut saved my life cops said I was lucky 🍀 Next time I’ll have to bring to a legit shop too shady!! I called the location to let them know a couple time but they yelled at me and hung up Liars!!! Update: Valvoline manager Luis called and denied that they did shut my hood and blamed the manufacturer for having hood fly up.. Ive been in the automotive world for 35yrs😵🤬🤷‍♂️💯 & thus far the worse place I’ve been to Ill ho back to my local Valvoline store where they can tend to my needs

I usually go to the dealership but needed something more immediate and didn’t have an appointment. Oil change, inspection and minor service. Very professional, quick and easy! Highly recommend and will return.

Just got my oil changed & everything was smooth sailing! The staff was updating me every step of the process. I'd rate this location a 10 Star! Luis & CJ were Professional & Efficient. They respect your time & responses. I appreciated the Extra little things they checked too, like the fact that CJ ran a battery test and informed me it checked out well! I didn't have to ask! I even got to use a coupon today which made this a more budget friendly expense/investment. I am coming back here with my other vehicle very soon. They have my loyalty now!!! Not an easy thing to do nowadays. Bottom line: Impressive! Thank you guys!!!!!!!

The Valvoline location at Cotswold is where you want to go for an NC car inspection. I showed up with no one infront, the attendant pulled my car in and started the inspection. By the time I went inside to sit down only for a few seconds, I was called back to my car to pay. It took less than 10 minutes from start to finish. They were very professional and fast. I highly recommend taking your car here for oil changes or car inspections

Arrived Sunday at 7:55am (5 minutes before opening). All the techs were there but locked out. Waited until 8:30am and had to leave. No one came over to the 8 cars in line to explain or apologize. Obviously sucky management (no contingency plans) and bad customer service culture! Take your business elsewhere.

Cotswold location. I had a great experience here today. Expedient but thoughtful service even though a line appeared suddenly. They even helped me with an issue created by the last garage that did my oil change. I had not been here in a while, but will be back. The manager is friendly and seems interested in customer loyalty for long-term profit versus short-term hits.

Thank you, Valvoline! You just wasted 45 minutes of my time for nothing. You shuffled me from one lane to another because I was priority only to put me behind a car that was getting an oil change and then a tire rotation. Everyone else who came after me made it through while I was still waiting. I was told it would be another 30 minutes so I left as did the car behind me who was also frustrated. Take 5 will forever have my business now. I knew that I made a mistake going to Valvoline, but the lines were short so I took a chance. Never again - it is unbelievably slow with zero communication. Take 5 is much more efficient and I suggest everyone else take their business there.

Used to love this place but no longer. Left while awaiting an inspection. When I pulled in I was only car in line with 3 bays full. Sat there while they had other cars who arrived 5-10 minutes after me get waved into open bays. Waited another minute but then left. Customers should be serviced in order of arrival. Second time this happened to me at this location.

Went there for NC safety inspection. Wait was reasonable, maybe 10 mins and inspection was another 15-20 mins. I was happy to be done, until I looked for my registration and it was not with the inspection report! When I asked where my registration was, they (manager and inspector) looked around and then tried to hand me a worn out registration in 2 pieces. I said that's not my registration; mine was in pristine shape, not even folded. After looking around some more, they said they had given my registration to another customer by mistake! I said they need to get it back, to which they responded that I don't need it anymore. So you give my paperwork with all my information to somebody else and I don't need it anymore? No, you need to get it back. Long story short, they were able to get back my paperwork but I had to come back for it later in the day. They caused me unnecessary aggravation and inconvenience, which could have been easily avoided had they just checked that the paperwork matched the customer's vehicle before releasing the job.

I have been coming to this location for 5 years. They never told me the rule is first come first served. I stay on the lines for more than hour and I see people come after me and get served before me because they are in different line. Today when my line went fast they told me you have to go to other line because this lady came before you. I felt this not fair and they did that because I look new immigrant and I have an accent. They lost me as a loyal customer for sure.

I had an oil leak and they checked the paper saying it was no oil leak … two days after getting my oil changed my car was empty and car was ticking due to no oil in engine !!!! And I know the person who was under my car while the person was pouring oil noticed the oil coming right back out as he poured it into my car … I wouldn’t had minded the honesty so I could’ve just gotten my car fixed instead of paying for an whole oil change that was wasted because it didn’t even last !!!!
