I got an oil change here and they noticed an oil leak due to the previous place I went to (Take 5) and they explained to me the damage it can cause, asked me if i wanted to change my air filter and they showed me it (that was the first, i haven’t been asked about my air filter at Take 5). Definitely coming back to this location for services from now on, they were quick and made sure there was no leak. There were no other cars during my visit so I didn’t have any issues with time.

Valvoline instant oil change locations are a sensible and much more affordable alternative to your automobile dealer. I just recently discovered them and I am sold with them. The wait is a fraction of the time and staff is just as knowledgeable as the dealers staff without the high price. They offer many of the fluid changes as well as filters and wipers just like the dealer at a way more manageable price.

Came here today for oil change/transmission fluid, only reason I wanted the transmission fluid was because I had received an e-mail saying my car was due for the service (which it is) with 20% off the service. While in line they asked if I wanted inspection as well I said yea, and while checking my car they asked if I wanted to replace a headlight that was out and I also said yea, when they were almost done with the oil change they asked me for payment which I gave and was told I would have to go to a dealership for the transmission fluid which is the whole reason I went there today because I got an e-mail saying it could be done for my specific vehicle with a coupon for it. They told me I was good to go and waved me out, I guess they couldn't do the inspection or headlight either? I'm happy with the oil change service but I only got 1 out of 4 of the services I was offered and feel my time was wasted, felt rushed out even tho there was no cars behind me.

Excellent customer service. They go above and beyond. Hunter, Nicholas and Anthony treated me like I was their own grandmother when I came in 30 minutes before closing. My headlight was out and Chris the area manager went down the street to get a light for my car. They actually stayed late to insure my safety! I have used Valvoline for years but was not a loyal customer because convenience and coupons usually dictate where I go. You have won me over, I will always choose Valvoline, ALWAYS!!!! I have also received exemplary service in Oklahoma City. I believe it was the Nicols Hills location. Thank you Valvoline for the staff who cares about women and Grandmother's safety first! Do not use this location, came in needing a oil change left and next day all lights are on. Of course management said it had nothing to do with them and they are not responsible! What a joke of a business! Do not use this location or business if you want your car! Zero stars

Best place to get your oil changed! The team is friendly and knowledgeable about maintenance requirements and will not try to sell you something that you do not need. Love the consistency and that's what keeps me coming back!

Every time I go to the Valvoline on Bryant Irvin, everyone is so nice! They let me know how everything is going with my car, but never pressure me to purchase the service I need or will need. It’s hard to find a place where I trust the employees not to try to get me to pay for unnecessary service.

Every time I go the staff has been friendly, efficient and "to the point". They help with whatever issues my car may be having and made recommendations w/o being pressured to purchase unnecessary services. I highly recommend this place.

I'll echo what many recent reviews have already stated this particular location is unbelievably slow. I never considered the one design flaw of Valvoline in that you can't really turn around once you're in the line unless nobody is behind you until I got to this location. Each customer in front of me (all of which only seemed to be getting oil changes) took almost 30 minutes. When I finally arrived at the bay I couldn't believe how unprofessional and unorganized the employees acted. One employee even asked another, if he had put oil in the vehicle upon which he was working. He never stepped away from the car, wasn't servicing anything else or even fielding other customers questions ... but couldn't tell if he put oil in a vehicle. I've been utilizing Valvoline for at least 8 years now. This is by far the worst experience I've had with them yet. I would never even think about using this location ever again.

Edit October, 2024: They have what seems to be a whole new staff. I haven't been here in a minute but they seem to be snark without reason, especially the big one. The "men" who serviced me had very sour attitudes because one of them wanted me to get a filter changed, but he said it as if he just knew I wasn't going to get it done anyway.. So to mess with him I said yes, then said no and then said yes lol. Mind you I was going to get my cabin filter changed too because the last time I came they recommended that, but he came off so weird I just wanted them to be done. I no longer recommend them. I'm actually documenting who serviced me today in case they were malicious enough to be do something to my car. It was a very poor experience overall. I will not return and from the looks of the recent reviews I shouldn't have come today. May 2024: Awesome customer service, super quick and easy. I just left, highly recommend it.

I made what is likely my last visit here after using them for years. The last several times I’ve been the service has been unbelievably slow while the cost continues to creep up. I stopped by during what I assumed would be a non-peak time for a state inspection. Bay 1 had a vehicle and no line. They directed me to bay 2 behind another car despite bay 3 being open. After a few minutes of waiting, another vehicle pulled up and they moved them right into Bay 3. Approximately 10 min later, that vehicle was leaving and they pulled a recent arrival into 3 and immediately started work. I had not moved and I’d had no interaction with anyone beyond the disaffected worker who lined me up at Bay 2. At that point, I backed out to leave and I don’t think I’ll be back. The entire appeal is fast service and since I’ve not gotten that in a couple years while paying more and more money, I figure it’s time to move on.

Avoid this place high price and terrible service I actually was a 5 year customer until now Curly Larry and even Moe couldn't open the hood on my 2018 Chevy i had to get out and open it myself and then it came to an ugly altercation with the manager when he treated a 5 year customer with absolutely no respect Avoid this so called oil change establishment

All associates were friendly. Took about 20 minutes for my oil change. I remained in my car the whole time. I gave a coupon for them to use yet they offered me a better coupon. The guy also showed me the dipstick to insure that the oil is new and full. I've never had that happen before and would always wonder if mechanics actual changed the oil like they are supposed to. I'll be returning.

I was in line for an hour! They scanned me in 30 minutes after I was there. Just to wait till I pulled up to the service area to tell me that they didn't have my oil filter.

I went to get an oil change and tire rotation service. Unfortunately tire rotation service almost cost me my life. They rotated tires but they didn't use the tire bolt equipment to tighten my lugs. Heading to work my front tires started causing my car to rock from side to side because they failed to use the proper equipment to tighten the lugs on the tires. They only tighten them by just turning them by hand. I live off Mccart, I was on 35 heading to work in Haslet Texas. It was a miracle that I made it there. Next door to my job was a brake repair shop. They told me it's going to cost me 300 dollars plus to fix my problem. The Manager says your lug nuts were all loose. WTH if you go to this location make sure they tighten the lugs up with the tool, not just by hand. Grateful to be alive.

Nikolas Kane is an amazing worker! He always goes above and beyond with my car's maintenance, explaining everything clearly and making sure I am satisfied. Today, he even updated me on Vavolines coupons and gave me one time which was a wonderful suprise! His professionalism and care keep me coming back, highly recommend him for any car care needs!

Waited for over an hour in line… there was only one car in front of me and at least four workers that I’ve seen walking around and checking their phones. Absolutely ridiculous! The Valvoline in Wylie is 100 times better than this location!!! I just happened to be on this side of the metroplex. Never again.

I've been coming to this location for 5 years for oil changes and inspections. They've never had me get out of my car for an inspection. When I asked why, the guy gave me an attitude saying "well it's the law". Okay, well I have never had to before, so that's why I asked why. The supervisor explained why, nicely and politely. Something that really bothered me and didn't sit well with me is THEY UNPLUGGED MY DASHCAM at some point before they drove my car around the building. Why? That's just so weird.

3 vehicles all pulled into bay at same time by staff. I just needed an inspection. They do 1/2 of the inspection and tell me to go to lobby and make me wait while they do complete oil changes and inspection on the other two vehicles. They could have just finished my inspection. 45 minutes. Rude.

Took my car for a quick oil change that wound up being about 2 hours. After leaving, my car was making a noise like something was rubbing my tires. Returned to shop and found out my skid plate wasn’t fastened and they couldn’t find the clips that came out or clips that would fit so they zip tied it in place and told me to come back tomorrow. Returned at 8am only for them to tell me that they didn’t have clips big enough and because my car is an older model (2022) that they probably just fell out driving down the road and just a coincidence that they fell out right after leaving. They kept the zip ties in place. I took it to another Valvoline shop and they were able to fasten it correctly in less than 5 minutes. I will not be returning to this location.
