Its a good location and the staff is usually great. It was not busy but they were spending a lot of time talking to each other and not working on my vehicle. I was told 15 minutes and it was over 30. The young lady that helped me at the end was wonderful.

My fionce ans I were sitting in line at bay 2 for an hour. Exactly 3 cars went though bays 1 and 3 from behind us in line due to the employees inability or care to get us into one of the other bays as the car infront of us that has been here since before we arrived, seems to be content to take up bay 2 for the forseeable future. All employees seemed to gather at the car in bay 1. Not working on any other cars separately. Perhaps the driver of thr Bay 1 car was very attractive, whose to say. They almost sent yet another car into bay 1 before us. However due to one employee who was able to get us out of where we had been parked, we were finally attended. When we were able ro leave the car in bay 2 was still there. I don't know what you are doing there Phill or why the employees are gathering at cars instead of working separately, but Dane, Brandon, Brian and Hasson seemed to not have a supervisor on the premisis with how they were conducting themselves. And if they did, it was not a very good one and i do not recomend this establishment if you want to do anything productive afterward.

Zero stars would be appropriate. I stopped here for quick oil change at 4.10 I was out at 5:30 PM on date 11/18/2024 The person who removed my air filter case lost the screws and started to blame me that the screws were bad. Hadden who says that he is the manager right now tried to fit in screws which are different from nuts diameter. I asked him to find the original screws and then he decided to remove the cover and send to Auto parts shop to find the alternative screws. There’s a guy by name Justin who is too rude and asking me to sit in my car and watch them screw up my car. I read a lot of negative reviews about this place and still gave it a try to face the worst reality. Good luck for those who are visiting here to get screwed up on your next adventure!

I just replaced all the missing bolts to my under engine cover another place was too lazy to put back in just to turn around and have this place do the same exact thing!!! I can just imagine how many customers they do this to as who really climbs under the car to check, only why I found out is because I had my tires replaced and the tire shop pointed it out to me! So lazy never will I go to this place again ill just do it myself. 12/2/22 update Went back they fixed shortly after this review and I made the mistake to keep going to this place as they still did it again ...you can retrain but there is no fixing laziness 12/17/23 had to change my tire just to notice they did it three times now! lazy lazy and they could care less even my oil is over filled this time. 8/15/24 I give up Mr Ray don't do call backs and even when customer service tries to connect us he don't answer IM DONE cause they did it again!! Avoid this place at all cost! They taken out 10 splash guard screws and just put back 4 one in each corner! I'm sure every car I see going down the road with it flapping in the wind was serviced by this place! 10/6/24 Well gave them another chance but went to another valvoline in Raytown I guess they are all ran the same as the skid plate fell off on one side because of missing splash guard bolts again..

One month and a half ago pulled up to get oil change at 7:45. Guy comes walking out in flip flops to let me know that he can't open a store because other employees have not showed up. Decided to try again this morning and I'll be dang same result Guy comes walking out in flip flops and it's 10 minutes till 8:00 and he can't open the store because employees hasn't showed up. Smh . He does proceed to tell me to go to the store at 23rd and Lee's summit. I went over there and they've got their stuff together over there I recommend staying away from the shop on 40 highway. Pure laziness.

Arrived at this location at 7:23 after dropping my highs schooler off. Nobody ever showed up. Waited for 20 minutes. Tried getting a hold of the regional management but the lady from the call center was rude and gave the run around. Got a school zone speeding ticket driving past my two youngest boys elementary school while trying make it to the 23rd street Valvoline location in time to get my car serviced before I take my 2 youngest sons to that same elementary school. I arrived to a long line of cars and got blocked in. Now my wife is upset that she isn’t able to sleep in because she had to take them to school. I’m now currently getting my oil & transmission fluid changed while I type this. I have to go out of town to Tennessee for work on Tuesday. All I want is the contact info for your regional manager!!!!! As I’ve asked repeatedly!!! The 40 highway location is managed very poorly, the call center doesn’t seem to care that their store regularly doesn’t open up on time ruining customers days.

Came for an oil change. They were supposed to be open at 7:30 am I arrived at 7:52 still closed. One guy showed up but said he can't do oil changes alone and won't have a crew until 9:00 am. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate. I will no longer spend my money here. This is very frustrating.

They told me it would be half an hour plus 15 minutes to get an oil change. I gave up after waiting in line an hour without moving.

Justin and Ariel are amazing! Checked all my fluids and informed me on services I may need in the future on my vehicle. They were both very prompt, polite, helpful and knowledgeable. I recommend this valvoline to anyone looking for a quick and easy oil change! 12/10!

This place is so slow I was there with one person in front of my line that went in as I got there and they had me sitting there for 40 minutes!!!! When their oil changes are supposed to be 15 minutes. I saw the workers moving so slow like they didn't want to be there. I left and just went to a different place because I bet I would've been there for longer as it took the worker 30 minutes to even start draining the oil of the car infront of me just outrageous.

When I arrived at 6:35 and there were no cars in the bays or in line I thought it was my lucky day. Most times I have to wait 45 minutes to hour just to get in for an oil change. After waiting around 5 minutes while watching the employees chit chat one finally came out and informed they were closed even though there stated hours said they were open till 7. I won’t be back.
