I agree with Harrison Wiggins because the same thing happened to me today. The short, little guy with glasses said I needed new wipers and I said no. He said he had to fail my inspection. Hours later, I went somewhere else, and everything checked out.🤔. I called and talked to the manager and he wanted to argue with me instead. They have lost another customer. Once you lose trust, it’s hard to gain it back, if ever.🤷‍♀️ I hate that I had this experience, but looking at the reviews, I’m glad I’m not alone. I hope by the number of complaints, it’s enough for them to reevaluate the business model and make substantial improvements.

Slow and not trustworthy. Took about 50 minutes for an inspection and they wouldn't pass it because the windshield wipers smeared? They worked fine used them on the way in this morning. If it wasn't the last day of the month I would have left. Go somewhere else don't waste your time or money.

I stopped in to get an oil change and got much more. I can do most mechanical operations up to changing major components. I don't swap engines and transmissions. The point is, I speak a trained technician's language enough to know if they are pulling my dipstick or giving me solid advice. I got the latter and it saved me money and time. Great job ladies and gentlemen. Thanks a bunch! No blinker fluid changes here!

I went to this location on April 1st with a Groupon. On April 21st my car was making some funny noises and my oil light came on. I opened the hood and my oil cap was sitting in the engine area not screwed on! Oil was everywhere. I had to replace the oil and it caused engine problems from running out. Also the lady who served me on the 1st, told me the filter wasn't included (it was but I didn't know until after) and was going to charge me 25 bucks. I didn't have the money at the time so I said no thank you. Will NEVER go here again. Very incompetent.

DO NOT GET YOUR OIL CHANGED HERE!! Customer service is TERRIBLE at this location, the people that work there do not seem to care at all, also they don’t take responsibility for issues they cause!

Do not recommend. Took my truck for an oil change and agreed for them to replace my air filter and cabin air filter. A couple of days later my check engine light came on, finally after some diagnosis realized they left the air hose disconnected from the filter box. Also, from them replacing the cabin air filter there was a broken piece of plastic left in my floor and the glove box will not close any longer. Will never take any of my vehicles or company vehicles back there again!

My complaint about vehicle damage claim has been denied, this is my letter to corporate. Sean (name on title) Cheri (wife) She brought our Explorer in for the oil change and filed the claim. I wish to handle the correspondence moving forward. Cheri brought our 2012 Explorer to the Kinston location in August. The oil pan bolt was crosthreaded by the tech and leaked. They admitted that and sent us to Kinston Automotive and Tire for a repair. 1001 W Vernon Ave, Kinston, NC 28501. In hindsight I should have refuse a repair and demanded a new oil pan from Valvoline. The repair failed and now my claim to get it fixed is denied. The area manager (Ben) will not call me back. I was told it is "up to them" to refile a claim. Kinston Automotive said the repair can only be done once. They did that. My vehicle never leaked oil and now I have a mess in my garage and have to check my oil daily. Whomever was on the chat yesterday could care less. I am getting an estimate today for a new oil pan and I will let you know how much it is. I have no plans on paying for it. My car never leaked oil until I used your service. Waiting to see what they say. I hope this helps anyone who needs an oil change in Kinston to rethink going there. The image below is what my garage floor looks like daily. Along with daily checking of my oil. Never had to do this before. Just got the letter from corporate saying they were again denying my claim. The Better Business Bureau has sent them a letter and I am waiting on that. I will not stop until they pay to repair my car.

They properly do their job. Also, they have a car wash and free vacuum (if using oil/car wash) attached. They also have a free all-purpose cleaner spray bottle, a dry towel for drying/cleaning, and a small pressure air gun.

Went yesterday for a state inspection. The female "manager" told me they had no one to do it. Turned around and walked off!! Very poor attitude and customer service!! Have been customer there for years!! Won't be back!! Don't worry, I went up the street to Auto Brite and they jumped right on it!! In and out in 20 minutes!!

Went in for an inspection and the guy lied to my face said he couldn't pass me cause my tint was to dark. I took it somewhere else and they told me my tint was ok. I won't be using their services anymore.
