I have used this location several times now. Jeff and James are great and an asset to this location. Friendly, knowledgeable, and they do great quality work in a short time. There are lots of places I can take my cars for these services but I bring my cars here because they give a great experience and service.

The Guys here are AMAZING! They will fix you right up like a pit crew who cares! The Technicians know their stuff and prices are so reasonable! James was TOP NOTCH! I have to say this because I DID visit another shop and left NOT impressed to say the least but also not getting any work done there either! James and his crew including those I don't know names of gave A+ care, also a tech named Chris made us feel very comfortable and we were able to get out in no time at all! We left knowing our truck had the WORKS!! Thanks so much we will definitely be back!! Latest trip**** We are ALWAYS happy to see James, Mike and their guys! They have always treated us kind,courteous and they know their stuff!! We will always go to this location (vs another on the same rd 😐tbh) as long as THEY stay with the company!

I have been going to the Cedar Lane Knoxville Tn location since 2011. They have been incredible with their service and professionalism the entire time! I honestly thank God for them every time I take a car there and am reminded of how good they’ve been to me!

i went in to get an oil change returned a week later with a burning oil smell and heavy smoke was told it was spilled oil from my oil change went back another week later with same problem turns out someone messed up my turbocharger oil feed line during oil change

I had a great experience at the cedar lane/merchants dr location. All the checks were done on my van which is one of the reasons I go to valvoline. The staff were very nice and helpful. I was not pressured into any extra options by the young man at my window. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend this valvoline.

I stopped by on my way home to see about an oil change for my car. $75 for an oil change yes you heard that right! I’ve never paid over $40-$45 for an oil change. While I do understand prices have gone up, $75 is a little much. Don’t go here unless you want to get ripped off! Price gouging at its finest.

While I understand this might not count as an oil service, my tire blew out and, like an idiot, I didn't have a tire iron and jack on hand. I rolled in with a tire with a bolt in it and these guys got me in and got my spare on free of charge. Literally life savers and I appreciate it greatly!

I've been to this location a few times and always gotten great service and advice. Recently brought in my '22 Honda Ridgeline and had them do a full synthetic oil change, a rear differential fluid change, and a tire rotation. Everything was done in less than an hour and at less than half the price of what the dealer would have charged. The team that works at this location really seems to care about what they're doing and it shows.

Staff was nice enough to my face, but whoever changed my oil stripped the oil plug. I discovered it when it was time for my next oil change; I took my car to another Valvoline location, and they wouldn’t change my oil because they informed me that the plug had been stripped. I had to take my car to a mechanic to repair it.

We were in a bind. On our way to the beach for summer vacay, 3 hours from our home & our vehicle started to make a whiney noise. We were almost due for an oil change anyway so we pulled into the nearest VIOC. We were greeted by James, the manager who listened to the whine & gave a couple of opinions of what he thought it might be. We pulled into the bay & 20 minutes later the issue was fixed, the oil was changed & we were on the road again. Not only was his diagnosis correct, but the solution was a super quick fix! We are so grateful for his knowledge & kindness, reassuring us that this was not a problem that would ruin our vacation. Peace of mind! James & his team were wonderful!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I been going here for years , no one bothered to tell me the spring came off of my oil cap which means my oil wasn't being filtered and that could have damaged my engine. The manager Jeff didn't care and was unwilling to reimburse me for any of my oil changes or reimburse me for the cap I had to pay for. Very poor customer service. Go somewhere where they value as a long-time customer!

My 1st visit to Valvoline Instant Oil Change. No waiting. Very nice young men who went right to work. I needed windshield wipers and purchased them there which saved me time plus they put them on for me.I know that doesn't seem like a lot but the windshield on the Toyota Seina is huge & I am unable to reach to put the wipers on myself. I will definitly go back.mm
