The reason for my 1-star review is the Valvoline manager, Ashley, who does not treat customers well and refuses to admit her mistakes. She recorded incorrect information despite being shown otherwise. Although my car’s mileage was 136,000, she wrote it as 36,000. When we pointed out her mistake, she argued with us and, even worse, refused to admit she was wrong. She claimed that the right tires had been checked, but we saw they had not and informed her. She also denied this. After leaving, I noticed on the display that the PSI levels were not at the correct level. Never, ever get service from this woman. Thankfully, the other staff members were helpful.

I recently visited a different Valvoline location for routine service, and shortly after, my car began making unusual noises. Concerned, I decided to go to this Valvoline location instead and explained my experience to one of the employees. That’s when Carlos Perez stepped in to assist. Carlos was incredibly knowledgeable and went above and beyond to not only identify and fix the issue but also to point out other maintenance needs that the previous location had overlooked. Carlos took the initiative to open a claim with customer service on my behalf, helping me secure a refund. I was thoroughly impressed by his dedication and attention to detail in resolving my concern. It’s surprising to learn that he isn’t in a leadership role, as his commitment and customer-first attitude are exactly what Valvoline should prioritize. Carlos Perez deserves a management position for the exceptional service he provides. I would be definitely going back to this location moving forward and work with Carlos and his team for their excellent work and service. Thank you

Sigh I blew it. I went to A jiffy lube by the house & it was horrible. Tried to charge me over $100 for A oil change!!! I quickly returned back to valvoline on Melrose. The female manager & staff took care of me today!

This is the easiest, quickest, and most professional place for not only an oil change but a whole host of automobile maintenance stuff. They checked a ton of other things like my battery, air filters, tires, and more, seemingly just as a courtesy. And the things they said I should have done in addition to my oil change were offered, but without pressuring me about it. I really appreciate that! This is the only place I've taken my cars for oil changes for several years now, and I'll keep going back. Solid 5 out of 5 stars.

Carlos Luis and Jose were great. Super helpful. Checked tire pressure which was low, told me there was no punctures. Topped off coolant etc. Super friendly. Answered any questions. As a woman coming to these places can be intimidating and I felt very comfortable. Highly recommend coming here! Also look up coupons on their website!

The oil change took about 30 minutes, and I didn’t have to get out of the vehicle. The team was organized, and I appreciated that supervisors double-checked everything to ensure it was done correctly. They use torque wrenches, which is both important and professional, to make sure they don’t over-tighten the oil plug and oil filter housing. Their hours of operation should accommodate most people. I also liked that I could bring my own oil and filter from the dealer and only pay for the labor.
