Went this Saturday 1/25/2025 to get a full synthetic oil change as I normally get from Valvoline. I’m still fairly new to this area so this was the first time going to this location. About barely 10 miles after getting the oil change done here, my check engine, 4WD, and slip control lights are on. I’ve never had these on before and we confirmed everything looked fine at this visit with the staff. I know Valvoline charges a premium ($102 for this oil change and that’s with a coupon) because they’re supposed to be more trustworthy compared to other quick oil change companies. Something was not done correctly this time and I am waiting on this store to make it right. Once I can get a resolution, I will update my review.

Place is TRASH . I came to get an oil change and tire pressure they didn’t even check my tire pressure . They overcharge too and I saw they put I had a leak in the engine or something and they didn’t even let me know . Last time I came months ago it was much better now it’s a$$. UPDATE They didn’t even put my air filter on well smh the manager isn’t running her store correctly it’s embarassing

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CARE HERE Valvoline stripped my oil filter after putting it on wrong, which not only caused my car's engine to be completely destroyed, but almost led to me getting hit by a bus on the freeway. Went into claims with them and they promised they would make things right. Instead, they prolonged everything as long as they could. My mechanic said Beverly (their Manager) barely inspected the car when they came to look at it. They even tried to blame the incident on the company who changed my tires, when they didn't get anywhere close to the oil filter. I repeat DO NOT GO HERE, unless you want your cheap oil change to cost you around $10,000 in the long run.

Instead of paying $65, we come here and pay $95. Because they also check the windshield washer fluid and tire pressure. I specifically followed up and no one checked the tires or windshield washer fluid. When I asked them if they checked, the girls working told me they "checked". You decide which is worse, not doing the routine service that they should be doing anyway, or lying. The guys working here should go to Valvoline in Melrose/Highland and learn how to do this job.

My first experience there was fine, but this time they suggested I have my transmission fluid changed. They said it would only take 5, maybe 10, minutes. It ended up taking an additional half hour (and they weren't busy). Turns out they had to warm up a special machine to do it--though they must've known that when they told me it would take just 5 to 10 minutes. When several minutes went by, I told them I'd just pay for the oil change and forget the transmission fluid this time. They insisted it would only be a few more minutes--and another long stretch of time elapsed. The transmission fluid was $229 on top of the amount for the oil change. If I'm going to pay that much, I shouldn't be lied into waiting a long time. By the time I finally left, 40 to 60 minutes after arriving, rush-hour traffic on Sunset had started. ............. Also, they never put air in my tires which they told me twice they would. (I see another reviewer here also had that experience.) I'll go elsewhere next time.

Asked about alternator multiple times & was assured it was fine. Workers changed out my battery, battery light was still on after service was told it was normal. Hours later my car died on the road due to an alternator issue.

Great service, fast and knowledgeable. In and out in 20 minutes. My tech William answered all my questions and let me know which services I really needed versus what could wait till next time and I really appreciated that. Will definitely be coming back to this location.

Hi, they fought with me when I was trying to get my transmission fluid fix. Poor service. The FEMALE staff members suggest I continue driving once I hit 1,000-2,000 miles when my car is experiencing LEAKAGE. Makes no sense.

Last week was probably my final time getting my oil changed here (have been coming here for a few years now). The staff are always really nice, but it always feels so chaotic and they always seem to forget a basic service after they tell you directly that they will do it. This past time, after waiting over 30 minutes (it was busy so I understand), the guy told me they would fill my tires with air, along with the psi. All seemed well, but a day later my check tire pressure light came on. I thought it was a sensor issue since I just had them filled. After it didn't turn off for a couple days I went to the gas station to check, and they clearly didn't even touch my tires and I had to refill all of them. It felt dangerous to have a customer think they had freshly filled tires only for it never to have been done. Twice in the past they've also forgotten to fill my wiper fluid (after they also said they would) but I brushed it off. This time the chaos just seemed not worth returning if I can't trust they did everything they said they would.

Generally I'm pretty happy with my service here but today it felt pretty chaotic and it's hot out! I kept getting told 5 more minutes. Plus they poured the oil in in a way I've never seen them do before - from the top. So many people working here but slowest service ever today. Not quite sure what's going on. One of the women who worked there brought me cool little bottle of water for my dog. Awesome attention to detail! She got one more star back in here
