Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Survey Comment: The young men & women working here are always very kind and courteous. Occasionally, I have had quality issues over the years. This visit : They overfilled my oil by at least a 1/2 quart. It was 1/2 times past the hash marks (safe operating range) on my dipstick. If 10 was Full, it is at 15. The tech flashed the dipstick at me to show me what was supposed to be a perfectly topped-off level, but I did not get a good look at it before he pulled it back. It's usually right on the top level mark of the hash marks when I have seen it before and when I check it at home, but naturally the one time I didn't see it, it's overfilled... I am not sure why, by so much, it was overfilled. It's got me concerned and hoping that my oil filter was even replaced during the service. I'm not sure if its safe & ok or if I need to have some oil drained out of the pan.. I'm very busy and I don't have the time or mental ability to deal with things like this right now. ** Also ** I do not like how the oil is being dispensed. I always use the most expensive full synthetic, but there's no way of me knowing for sure that's what's actually going in, because it's all in a reusable pitcher pre-filled from a bulk drum 🛢️.

Really nice people on South Western, but don't know about quality. My car has never had an oil leak- never. Oil leaking all over the garage floor immediately after oil change. Called corporate angry, took it back , of course they said specs were good on filter/plug tightening- not their problem, but oil was all over the engine bay down the side leaking profusely 'sorry we forgot to tell you about that, we should have' . Took it to dealer to have valve gaskets replaced, oil still leaking a little bit. Took it back to same Valvoline to talk to the girl who actually did the first oil change (she wasn't there the first time I went back). She and another guy took a lot of pictures for me and explained likely lower pan seal needs replacing- suddenly I drive away and the axil is shaking like crazy at all stops and turns, grinding. WTH.. seems like when I take it there, I drive away with a new problem my car never had before. Taking it today to a local independent mechanic I can trust. Never going to Valvoline again. Corporate did refund my original oil change.

We had an amazing experience. Our Costa Oil closed down so they gave us directions to this Valvoline location. We want to recognize the Manager, Cody and also Maintenance representative, Cody for their experience on the full service oil change today. Respectful and sweet guys. We will be coming back and would love to have their service again.

Cody is EXCEPTIONAL! Very professional outstanding job very informational about products. Great at upselling additional services. We are from Odessa and have contemplated making a 400 mile trip to have our truck serviced everytime

I have came here for my oil changes a battery windshield wipers for about 2 years now the service is great the staff is very friendly will continue to get my car serviced at this location 😀

I normally deal with Cody, but he was out and Machelle was super helpful in his absence. She went over all the preventative maintenance that is coming up on my pickup and talked about how to plan for all. I’ve used this location for the past five years to service my vehicles and have nothing but good things to say about them.

The entire team was thorough and efficient, including Cody, Makilah, Adryana! They just needed to change my oil today, but they had me in and out quickly. Will definitely keep coming to this location.

Had my oil changed and was made aware that my under carriage splash shield was missing both the center and passenger side. After investigating found out that someone had removed both the center and passenger shilds and never replaced them. The only place that I believe I had my oil changed was the Valvoline on SW 117 in Oklahoma City. Spoke with manager but of course no way to know what employee was responsible. The cost of purchasing both shields and screws to reinstall is $300.00 for parts only. Sad to think that someone would take them off and not make me aware that they would not reinstall and give me the parts. If your car is important to you, I guess you have to not TRUST anyone. Sad, Sad, Sad. The charge was $126.00 of which there is a charge of $28.00 for labor on the invoice. Went to Bob Moore Ford to purchase parts, spoke with service advisor about having the oil changed there and they said they would do it properly, (hopefully) and the price is no more expensive. I guess what I'm still upset about is the trust issue. Be advised apparently it's sorry help, poor supervision and all about the money. Don't know what's next, not sure WHO you can trust. I am grateful for the lady in the pit at Valvoline whose name was Danny for calling this to my attention about the missing shields, which I shared with the manager. These shields protect the oil pan, oil filter and the underside of the vehicle from road debris damage. I would think somewhat important.

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is so nice and helpful. they let you know what your cars recommendations are without trying g to sell you anything. All the employees are so friendly and helpful. This is the only place I go

After oil change car was leaking oil. They banged on the drain plug with a hammer to loosen it and ruined it. Bought new plug. Firestone says wrong gasket. They did nothing to make it right.

The staff was absolutely courteous. They got us in really quickly. We didn’t even have a wait. The whole thing took about 15 minutes. I came back a few days later as I thought I had a leak. They got me right in and took pictures. Ended up being a sensor. But, thankfully they checked it out enough so I could figure out what it was. Everyone was so respectful.

Just phenomenal service! They never aggressively push for sales. I've been to many places before I went to valvoline, and everytime they overly push for extra sales. These guys don't. I've been coming here for years now and would highly recommend. They are friendly and do a great job. Kuddos.
