Valvoline Instant Oil Change

Had my oil changed today due to driving a long distance in the morning. I was 2 miles over on my oil change and I’ve never had a leak. Came home and ran errands with my husband. He was waiting in my car and I could see the oil running out of it when I walked out of the store. I already had a terrible feeling because while I was there I seen one of the mechanics being up a small black piece and then two of them were looking under the hood of my car. The I was the taller bald me mechanic throw it away. On top of that no light checks and they didn’t reset my oil change alert on my car. They also didn’t check my tire pressure. I paid $170.00 and no will need auto repairs.

Repeat customer WONT BE BACK! came in at 3:40 today for oil change. Within 5 seconds the tech clicked every maintance check & type of oil without performing any of the work or asking NO tire pressure, brake level, power steering, battery, transmission, air filter or Coolant checks were done. Then after seeing the bill I got charged for an air filter. Tech was too busy on his phone to engage in any customer service.

Went here last week because they have a complementary top off for customers who leak oil and Chris came out and greeted me and informed me that I was going to be about 30 to 45 minutes. I asked him if there was anything we could do to just get me on my way and he said no personally if it was me I would’ve got that customer taken care of on their way so they didn’t have to wait there so long for something that takes a minimum of two minutes

Called in said my engine oil was low since my last change, the lady said come on down & they will check for any leaks & will top it off all free of charge. Came too the location was in & out within 15 mins satisfied

I had a bad experience here today. The service rep (Chris) was pushy and I repeatedly told him I only wanted an oil change. After a few minutes I remembered I had low air in one of my tires and saw they had an air chuck. I asked if I could get some air in my back tire and he was smug and said “oooh so you do want more than just and oil change”. I was very disappointed with his attitude and customer service. People like him give places like this a bad rap.

Slow!!!! One car inside didn't move 30.minutes I'm still waiting for the guy beside me too. Standard pickup, standard filter and oil. I'll just do it at home!

Do not go here if you are a single woman! I promise they will try to take advantage of the fact that you do not know what’s wrong with your car if there is anything wrong with your car. I went in for an oil change and they told me something about my transmission fluid needs to be changed also And so I sat in there for about 45 minutes waiting for this to be done and the guy comes back and tells me it’s gonna be $411! I just went in for an oil change, and I was told that I needed to have these other services done when in fact, I don’t believe that I actually did, but I didn’t have a choice but to pay the money you don’t know what your car needs, especially if you’re a female. this was the worst experience I’ve ever had getting my oil changed anywhere

I'm really grateful for this place, I'm from Sioux falls, I brought my new to me vehicle on a quick trip to visit family. I didn't realize I had a slow oil leak. I was a quarter quart low when I reached Omaha. And I forgot my spare oil. I'm sure I have enough to get home, but I wanted to just make sure and get a quart for the road. I came to Valvoline to buy a quart, and they just said we will top you up. Huge kudos and thanks to these guys. That is very nice of you guys to help me get back to Sioux Falls 100%. Thank you so much!

They did not check any of tire pressures, all four were low, had to take to a Discount Tire to correct. After I inspected the dipstick I had to instruct them to add another quart, they seemed quite unsure. Three of the emplyees were preoccupied with talking amongst themselves about last weekend or some such, just not paying attention to their job.

my driver came to change the oil with his own oil and filter Daniel refused to change the oil because the filter is not original but although Valvoline changes these filters every time, but since Daniel said that the filter is bad and can break the car, then the question is why did Valvolain allow bad filters to be changed before? I am waiting for your response otherwise I will go to court! The car is 2024

I went in and they charged me way too much for just an oil change, probably because I’m a woman. And then proceeded to not reset my change oil light like they said they would. They also left my hood completely unlatched and it almost came open while I was driving down the highway. I definitely don’t recommend this place since they did such a terrible job with my car.

Went to have my oil changed on 9/8/24. Oil cap fell and could not be found which is okay since he said he sent to get a new on. Oil light was not reset, and they did not close my hood. I hope my oils was changed.

Took my car to get an oil change. I always go to this location. And they have never let me down. They’re always quick. No wait when I go. Don’t need an appointment I trust them to work on my brand new cars. They let you sit in your car while they change the oil. Thanks again for your service and doing what you do. :)

After oil change at this location I went on a freeway to go to Lincoln, 3 min drive and an oil indicator started blinking. A whole quart of oil underfilled at the time of service. Seriously??? I do oil change at this location every 5K miles to prevent things like this from happening. Totally freaked out on i-80 in heavy traffic, had to drive 5 miles to next exit to find synthetic oil to add. Don't they get information on their computer system how much oil must be put in at the oil change? I was not even asked to start engine first before oil level was checked. The guy showed me oil stick with 1/4" below upper level and that was it. And NO there was no oil leak either in my garage or under the car when I added a full quart of oil. After the second 90mi trip today the oil is still at the same level it should be. It's a shame I can no longer trust Valvoline employees. No peace of mind after using their service. Update: I've got an email from customer support with apologies, my information was passed along to Upper Management, so "the Valvoline team can have continued training for improvement purposes." I've also received a coupon for free oil change. Glad someone listened.

Lamain and the guys at this shop do good, quality, fast work. They are very thorough and make sure they double check everything to keep your vehicle running great. They are professional and courteous, and keep a well organized and clean shop. I will continue to use them because of their great service.
