11-24-2024 my daughter went there by herself to get an oil change and all of a sudden her car would not start. They tried to sell her a battery. I told her it was time for a new battery so they gave her jump, She decided to cut it off again and it would not start still. They kept pressing her to buy a battery. She stayed there 30 minutes and they kept telling her to buy a new battery for $280. I told her no get the jump, Go to Walmart and get you a battery when she left the car kept starting every time I believe they tried to rip her off never going back again.

I was able to drive right into the bay after being greeted by Mark, who was very polite and professional. Once he found my information in the system he asked how my windshield wipers were doing. I told him my back one was awful and he went to get a replacement. Barkim helped me during the payment process and was also kind and professional. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes!

I was hugely impressed by the whole team. Very professional and informative. They even told me about a transmission leak that they had caught and I had not known about, due to the leak dripping into my skip plate. I’m very thankful, and I highly recommend them!

Most honest oil change location in Raleigh. I HIGHLY RECOMEND taking your vehicle to this Valvoline location. They are Completely professional and they put the client first, instead of the $$$. HUGE shoutout to Uncle Chuck, Christian & Jimmy for being their unparalleled customer service. These fellas let me know that, although my oil change light was on, my oil looked good and I didn’t need an oil change, and sent me on my way. This has never happened in the 25 years I’ve been getting oil changes, so it calls into question how truthful other local oil change establishments are when it comes to notifying a client they may not need an oil change when, rather than disregarding this fact and doing one anyway so they can make money. How many folks are being taken advantage at other locations/establishments? I’d venture to gets 75% of them. Again, I HIGHLY suggest taking your vehicle to this Valvoline location. Completely professional and they put the client first, instead of the $$$ Thank you, fellas! -Eric Billing

This location is always efficient and the staff are friendly and helpful! It’s a bit out of my way but I always make plans to come to this location when I need an oil change, inspection etc.

I don't recommend getting your vehicle inspected here. They'll fail you for the silliest things. Told me that I wouldn't pass inspection because of my windshield wipers. It was raining the day I went and the wipers are fine.

Sat in line waiting for an inspection while the only person who does inspections helped other cars in the other lines. There were also 3 people waiting behind me. Unbelievable!!! No customer service!!!

I just left this location. It’s 5-31-24 @ 3:30pm so the cocky guy there that was Maybe in charge ( idk ) but he went on to tell me that Valvoline usually doesn’t do oil changes on Mercedes Benz ml350 because people complain that they mess up their car cause they drive out of there with their car smoking and their engine starts making a knocking sound. He proceeded to pop the engine to let me hear how my engine sounded and said they sound like diesel. I was like bro? I don’t really feel comfortable getting my car done here. He said we can do it but I’m just giving you a disclaimer. I told him there’s a coupon on Groupon for full synthetic oil change. He said I don’t need that I need European oil. So there’s no coupon that exists for that and the oil change in $149 plus tax. Dude! European oil is a full synthetic oil change! I just had a Volkswagen Passat before this car, and it needed the same kind of oil and I used this coupon every time. Man, I just left. Do you know how many people have cars that need European oil? And he’s telling me that the kinda oil they have is called this and that but it’s the same thing but no coupon ever. And it’s not full synthetic. I drove to jiffy lube and told them this issue and they laughed. Everyone here confirmed that a full synthetic oil change is European Oil and they are happy to take my coupon. They just may charge me extra if I need more oil than what the coupon consist of. This dude here at Valvoline has no idea what he’s talking about or doing! He was real sure and cocky of himself too. Who doesn’t do oil changes on Mercedes Benz? That is a very common car that simply needs European oil! Valvoline is a huge name and company. This blew my mind. This guy needs to go or needs to be retrained cause what tf. Never again. I’ll stick with jiffy Lube from here on out. Ridiculous customer service and knowledge.

This place I would avoid I had my oil changed before New Years and they installed the oil filter wrong and damaged my car. I’ve spoken with the home home office 3 times now and they seem helpful but they say they need to talk with the local manager. Then I don’t hear anything again from them. I need to file a small claims suit at this point which really sucks because any good business would just recognize they messed up and pay for their mistake. I feel like here all they are trying to do is clean up the bad reviews and wait to see if I will keep on them for what they owe me. Use them at your own risk. Update. I spoke to Scott Hefke the regional manager. He denied my claim even though the mechanic clearly stated that they forgot to install the O ring and that cracked the oil filter housing cap. His excuse was my vehicle has high mileage. So use them at your own risk. If they screw up it’s obviously the customers fault. Update. They still haven’t taken responsibility for their mistake and leave me no recourse but to sue them. Sad way to do business. Here is a direct cut and paste from the mechanic in Atlanta that fixed my car Technician removed oil filter housing cap and discovered that oil filter housing cap o ring was not installed on cap causing oil leak. Technician installed new cap with filter and o ring and cleaned off oil residue around front of engine. Technician confirmed correction of oil leak. I had to take them to court. I won my case against them. Is so silly that they made an obvious mistake and instead of correcting it they forced me to go to court to get relief. You better think twice coming here.

Went today for an oil change and state inspection and just have to shout them out. Greg was in charge of helping me get into the garage and walking me through the steps of getting ready for the oil change- keeping a professional manner and laughing with me when I struggled to pop the hood. He was personable and outgoing when I had to go inside for the state inspection. I always feel like I am in good hands at Valvoline- they are honest and straightforward when I need new parts or if something is wrong and are able to convey it in a manner that a young woman, who admittedly knows nothing about cars, can understand. I never feel like they are trying to upcharge me and the things I do need to buy are necessities. They even taught me to change my cabin air filter! I cannot recommend this location enough!
