I was due for a vehicle inspection and decided to visit this relatively new establishment. Right away I was met by the Inspector Mechanic, Mr. Gregory Chance. He was very professional and courteous as he inquired about the vehicle service and personally showed me to the waiting area. The facility was very clean and Mr. Chance and his co-workers did an outstanding and thorough inspection even pointing out I was missing a lug nut. The camaraderie and efficiency I witnessed between the employees is a testament to Jonathan’s (the manager) leadership. They all seemed to really enjoy their jobs and each other…those are the kind of people I want to go to for business. Rating: More Stars than five if I could give them.

Nice guys, did my oil change fast…maybe too fast. I got home and about an hour later I go outside and had oil on my driveway. Looked under the truck and oil was dripping off the cross member. Took it back and they inspected oil filter and drain plug and all was good they just didn’t clean up after the oil change and gave me a scare. I now have oil under a brand new truck and on my driveway but it could be worse. 3 stars is a fair review

After going to this place and getting an oil change and a few others thing done, my car started leaking power steering fluid and I’ve had the car for 3 years and never had a problem before going here. Never saw a receipt but instead asked me to CASH APP him the amount. Didn’t think much of it at the time but definitely scamming people. I’d recommend going to MR.TIRE next door, they are very friendly and will not ask for your cash app or try to up-sale you on things you don’t need.

Avoid at all costs. All the 5 star reviews aren't even customers, most are friends of staff. You'll never have to wait for service, because they have ran off all the customers, but you'll be waiting on the side of the road when your car breaks because of the poor service. Their current sign out front says 'quick, easy, and trusted'. That may be true as long as you don't have an issue with their service, otherwise it's slow, hard, and deceitful. Girlfriend had her first oil change in her vehicle here on 3/21/24. The next day late in the afternoon while driving to Michigan oil light came on in Morton, West Virginia and was spewing oil. Ended up having to get her car towed to a local shop, their is nothing in Morton, West Virginia. I called the customer service line early the next morning while she was having the car looked at. Soon after I was contacted by someone at Valvoline over text and I sent them pictures of the faulty o ring that was installed on the oil filter, luckily no other issues. Valvoline wanted to send a tech out to the car 'possibly' that day, but the shop in the middle of nowhere looking at it had the issue already resolved and put back together in record time. At the time, we were told the issue was being escalated and would receive details shortly. So with her repaired car she continued on her vacation. We heard nothing, I reached back out 5 days later asked for an update, and was not provided with any information. No effort on their part was made until she made a review and was contacted very promptly, she submitted her records and reciepts of costs incurred. But guess what, it has been a week, back to radio silence on their end. Some honest communication and a resolution to this would be great, but I'm not holding my breath at this point. Response: As I stated it was my girlfriend's car done in 3/21, their is an open claim. Thank you for your somewhat timely response. Final Update: It took them over 10 weeks to resolve the issue, without any apology or any statement from them. They gave plenty of excuses on what took so long though. I would not use them ever again due to the poor customer service, communication, and general lack of trustworthyness.

Got an oil change in preparation for a trip the next day to Michigan. Everything seemed fine. Next day, on the WV Turnpike, discovered my car was leaking oil like a sieve. Added 4 qts myself, it just leaked right thru. I had to get a tow to the nearest auto shop (in the middle of nowhere, in the mountains) which was closed by the time my tow arrived. Got the driver to take us to a hotel (23 miles to the closest one). Next day, auto shop works on it and sees that the o ring was torn, which they said could be from the o ring not being correctly installed. My boyfriend during all this back in NC contacts Valvoline, gets a claim started, sends them my pics. Valvoline wanted to send a tech out to see if they could fix it. I call them and explain, I am in the middle of nowhere, it would take them at least an hour just to get here, and this auto shop doesn't have time to wait for them. I had to do what was best for my family and get it fixed. Was told that my claim would be escalated, but I haven't heard back and it's been over a week. So, my 50% off oil change at Valvoline ended up costing me: original oil change, 4 qts of oil in WV trying to diagnose the problem, $171 tow + $40 cash so the driver would take me to a hotel, the hotel cost in WV, the hotel cost for the hotel I had booked in Columbus, OH where we were supposed to sleep at that night, Uber back to the shop the next day, and the $66 oil change at the auto shop in WV. So like... $750? Again, I have not heard back from Valvoline. If I could give zero stars, I would! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this place. If they do get ahold of me, I will happily update this review. Update: Valvoline Corporate says they are waiting for a video from this location. I filled a complaint with the BBB, who was unable to get a response. I'm going to call Corporate... Again. Almost 2 months since the incident and I've had to pay interest on my credit cards on top of everything. Update: After a lot of back and forth with Corporate (all initiated by me) they finally cut me a check to cover most of the costs I incurred. Not changing my stars, though. And strongly don't recommend.

I exclusively use Valvoline for oil changes, inspections, etc. for three of my vehicles with hardly any issues and because they are quick. Not anymore. My wife went to this location to get an inspection and was she needed new wipers to pass inspection because they "streaked". No, they did not streak. They worked fine during the weeks of rain with no issues, and this is a family vehicle for our young ones. Excerpt: "19A NCAC 03D .0536 WINDSHIELD WIPER Windshield wipers shall not be approved if: (1) the vehicle is not equipped with a windshield wiper or wipers, provided the vehicle has a windshield; (2) the wiper or wipers do not operate freely; (3) the wiper controls are not so constructed and located that the driver may operate them; (4) the wiper or wipers are not adequate to clean rain, snow, and other matter from the windshield; and (5) parts of blades or arms are missing or show evidence of damage." None of these applied. I would suggest not preying on those who clearly do not understand much about vehicles. 2 Stars because they were quick.

No operational rigor and/or wrong store hours. Store hours stated it opens at 8AM, however after waiting 5+ min at 8:15AM, no one showed. This is the second time this has occurred.

Oil change was fast and not too expensive. Got full synthetic with service interval of at least 5000 miles, but probably significantly more. They put sticker indicating it would need another oil change in 3000 miles. They're going to try to upsell, so prepare for that, but the 3000 mile oil change is not recommended if using full synthetic. They're just trying to get you back in asap.

Attendants were friendly and professional. Actually appeared to know what they were doing. Service was fast. All fluids were checked. MOST importantly, no leaks when I got home!

I had a great experience at today at valvoline. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They quickly completed my oil change, and I appreciated how they took the time to explain what services my car needed without being pushy. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. I will definitely be returning for future car maintenance needs. Highly recommend!

Went in for an oil change and state inspection. Oil change went fine, but inspection was a disaster. Vehicle inspector told me that I needed new wiper blades (which i had recently replaced) and if I didn't agree to buying new wiper blades they would fail inspection. After being asked if I wanted to do inspection (I said no) they did it anyhow and failed it. They refused to refund inspection fees. Scam to sell parts not needed.

I went there last weekend to get an oil change and state inspection done. I was told I could get the state inspection done, but not the oil change because they didn't have the pit guy there yet. Mind you, it's 1100 am in the morning. I ended up going to Jiffy Lube right next door and was in and within an hour. I was offered a discount if I came back in an hour. I normally don't have an issue when I so go there. I do prefer this location better because of the cleanliness and staff.

I brought in my 1999 Dodge Dakota for an inspection. After inspection was done they tried to sell me a new cabin filter but this truck doesn’t even have a cabin filter. Scammers so be careful if you come here.

I came in for an oil change inspection and cabin filter replacement I walked out paying $170 They charged me $50 for the filter and $105 for the oil change they claimed my car was foreign and needed a special type of oil even though I drive a Toyota Corolla. When I argued with them about the price they just said that’s how the run things and gave me 20% off the original cost so I would’ve payed more than $170 which is outrageous. On top of that they didn’t put my glove box back the way it was correctly and led to me having to drive back there in order for them to fix it. They weren’t apologetic at all and claimed the reason they charged that much is because they don’t charge labor prices. But if they don’t charge labor prices then the total cost should be cheaper. Never in my life will I be back here even if you give me money and I warn anybody else to stay away from this establishment bunch of scammers.

I patronized this business for an oil change and state inspection. The business appears clean and well organized. The check in was fast and I didn't have to wait. The service provided was courteous and professional. Took a little more than 20 minutes and I was on my way. I recommend this business.

I would advise anyone NOT to go here for oil change. Took my wife’s 2020 cx5 in and noticed oil leak a few days later. Carried it back to them and the second time they said drain plug needed replacing and replaced for no charge but apparently used wrong part and still leaked. Did not trust them to work on it again so took to local shop who fixed and told us that wrong plug was used. Reported to Valvoline and was just asking for refund of original charge from them and they denied responsibility and essentially said we were lying even though we have receipt from shop. Worst customer service EVER

Unfortunately my experience with this specific store has been HORRIBLE! Simple oil change with $20.00 discount- now I have spent close to $200.00. Oil leak appears on my driveway a couple of days later. My car has only 48,000 miles…the only issue I have ever had is a nail in my tire. Valvoline customer service and area manager have heard this story…. My car was taken back to them two more times within a three day period. OIL LEAK CONTINUES! I call customer service explained what has occurred those two additional visits to FIX the oil leak that Didn’t get fixed. They put in a new plug and had to do another oil change on the 2nd follow up visit. I can go into detail but I’ll save you the time. I reported all this info and the fact that my car is leaking oil for the first time and it was only after your people had touched it. Twice. Their investigation states there was no wrong doing. I have a local mechanic fix the leak because I can’t wait for them to respond and provides me with their finding. My mechanic states the Wrong plug for my car was used ~ the Wrong plug was used -and the area manger said his supervisor states they didn’t change the plug. They did so when we took it back to have the leak looked at. And true there may be no invoice or charge to verify this, but manager on the clock was trying to fix the problem and there was no charge. (Which didn’t fix it) after sharing this info with customer service the area manager stated his supervisor basically said. Nope that didn’t happen. And now, I am basically being called a liar from their management area supervisors. If you do business with this company, it’s corporate and they do not do customer service/area management ~ WORSE CUSTOMER service experience EVER (and all I’m asking for is a refund for repairs from their botched work) $95.00. But now that I think about it a refund as well $82.00+

I had a wonderful experience getting my oil changed when they first opened. They let me know that checking my air filter is apart of the oil change service. I’ve been going to the other location in Garner for years and they never mentioned it! I know nothing about cars, so it was great that they went the extra mile without making me feel like I was being taken advantage of. A tech was literally in my car like a pretzel trying to get my air filter out. He finally did and it was almost black! It hasn’t been changed since I bought my car in 2019. I also purchased new windshield wipers and had them installed in a few seconds. I’ve already recommended this location to friends and will be going back. Thanks again for all your help!!

$114 for a full synthetic oil change. They were also offering 50% off, which would be the regular price for an oil change at any other oil shop. Don’t be fooled, the dealership is less expensive.
