Don’t bother. Pulled up today for an inspection. The bay was open with no waiting. Employee just says “No inspections today.” No explanation. No apology. Very much appeared as if they didn’t feel like it today. I should have known better than to try them again. Previous time I tried to get an inspection, their machine was down for a week, but at least they bothered to put a sign out front. Previous oil change I tried to get, they were out of oil! Yes, an oil change business out of oil. Top all that with typically long lines due to needing 45 minutes to complete what should be 15 minute oil changes and there’s really no reason to go there. I certainly won’t again.

Steve at the waxahachie location was great. He and the staff were knowledgeable, fast and I REALLY enjoyed the conversation and the attention given! I will definitely go back every-time to see those dimples!!

Horrible customer service!! Went to try and see if my daughter had a warranty on her bad battery bought from this place. Walked in the door that has welcome on it and was told don’t come in! Ok!?!? Rude and didn’t want to help with a battery exchange that was bought there. Wanted the original receipt. I asked him to scan the bar code on the valvoline battery to see if I may come up!?!? Nope need the receipt!

On arriving Justin was quick to acknowledge my arrival and did pre- safety inspection. He directed me into the bay checked tire pressure and completed oil change. Corey handled the process at the monitor and both were friendly and kept be updated on progress. Very professional and would highly recommend this location to other customers.

So came in after dropping off kids at school. Not a long line. Like one person in front. Someone did come out asked what I needed then told me what to do. Got me in and out in like 30 minutes. I am definitely coming here again. Steve was very nice. They got a good vibe going on. I want to join the family.

Came here for an oil change with my lovely daughter. We were blessed to have gotten Will as our fixer upper along with his tech (sorry I forgot his name). Both were extremely helpful and quick. This became a learning experience for my daughter as Will very nicely told me to hush and let her answer questions. He was very informative and was able to explain it in a way that my little princess would understand. I even learned a few things. Will and his tech went above and beyond to make this a good, stress free experience. I wish there were more people out there that would tell parents like me to just be quiet and let their kid do the talking.

I drive up. The nicest young man came out to talk to me. He told me they did not have my type of synthetic that day but would have in by Tuesday. He then checked my sticker. Went inside to check my cars record. Then checked my oil. Said it would be ok. Showed me the oil stick. That's good. service.

I think the crew does a good job, they take their time and pay attention to details and they are very careful how they handle the vehicle. I came in for my very first oil change on a brand new car with 4,400 miles. Way before it needed to be done. I took before and after pictures and inspected the area underneath and under the hood. I wanted to ensure all bolts and covers were installed correctly with all parts. Everything looked good with the exception of they did not try to clean up the oil spill on cross members etc. I am not looking for it to be throughly cleaned. But wiping off oil residue from cross members etc would have been the one thing that kept me from rating my experience a 5 Star.

Please hire more help! Based on my 11/23 visit, you all need to hire more than 1 or 2 ppl to perform inspections. As a customer who dove 20 mins to this specific location; I don’t necessarily need to know why someone called out, or their personal business. Though I hope that things are okay with them and their family life. You telling me why someone isn’t able to perform the service I needed at that time does not make things better for me as a customer. Valvoline, ^^ have your mechanics get out of the habit of over sharing. -Close the inspection side, and put a sign up that says no inspections today. Y’all should have at least 3ppl who can perform inspections and at least 2 scheduled daily.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU TO STEER CLEAR OF THIS LOCATION! I came in a few months ago (some time march/april) and got a transmission service on my car because it was recommended. Few months after that I noticed my car was having difficulties accelerating and starting up. I took my vehicle to oriellys to get my codes and got everything fixed but I still had the same issues, so I checked my atf dip stick and realized that it was way overfilled. I made a claim to the customer service department of Valvoline because I didn’t know if there were long term damages that occurred from their mistake. I took it back to the shop to have them remove the excess fluid but the service manager, Will, closed the claim without acknowledging me first. Like I said before I made the claim in case of long term side affects. So my claim got set back a whole week because I had to open another and escalate it to the area manager, Gabriel, so he couldn’t close it again. All I want is to go to work and take care of my responsibilities but that is difficult to do without transportation. Another week went by unfortunately because the area manager took that long to reach me. I had escalated it to him for a week and a half but he claims he just got it the night before we finally spoke. He explained to me that I needed to get diagnostics so I took my Kia car to a Kia dealership because their a respectable, international company and since it’s my transmission I’m not taking any chances! They came back with the diagnostic the next day (I thank them for that) and told me that I needed a new transmission because of the service Valvoline performed and it would cost roughly 6,600 dollars. 5,200 for the transmission kit and 1,400 bucks for the labor, now that sounds fairly reasonable considering today’s economy but keep that in mind. I asked the service advisor at kia why did the service destroy my transmission and she explained it was because the metal shavings were removed thus hindering the transmission’s ability the operate properly. Kia also said that it is a “industry standard” that Kia cars are NOT to have a transmission flush over 80,000 miles and they make sure to get a signature from the customer, which Valvoline didn’t do, so they aren’t liable for any damages post service. I was never advised by none of the ASE certified technicians at the time to not get service and I never signed any documents. So Gabriel, the area manager stated to me that it’s supposed to be 190k miles which let’s me know he had no knowledge to Kia’s standard procedures when performing maintenance on one of their vehicles. He eventually confirmed and took ownership of the damage caused to my vehicle but then became upset with me when I said I want to get my car fixed at the kia dealership I got the diagnostic from. I personally trusted their knowledge and their capabilities to fix my car so why not you would think? He argued with me saying that he needed to get other quotes from other mechanics to find a cheaper price because he felt like the dealership was too expensive. He wanted to get a used transmission that would still be over a 100k miles and use a mechanic of his discretion. I advised to him that I no longer trust you guy’s opinion or with my car. I want to get my car fixed here at the dealership and he continued to argue with me even though it’s my car and their at fault. He was very rude, pushy, and would cut me off periodically which made me frustrated and upset. Honestly the conversation was horrendous. Towards the end of that conversation he said and I quote “ I am done talking about this” to which my response was “okay do what you need to do and have a good day” I never said to discontinue the claim not once and yet he said I did in that conversation. He calls me after I just got the rental car and made it to college and informed me the claim was denied because I didn’t want to continue the process, not true. He stated I was argumentative and refused to let him do his investigation but he was supposed to do that the day prior to this conversation.

I came a few weeks ago and I wasn’t met with welcoming faces. My oil change took a long time and I also had an oil leak. I just ended up going to Kwik Kar but I just read a couple of these earlier reviews because I was wondering about giving them another chance. After reading the latest ones I think I’ll just keep going some where else.

Oil change was good but they never checked or refilled my coolant after they said they did. My car almost overheated on the toll road 3 days after my oil change because I had no coolant left.
