I brought in my 01 Ford Ranger. There was a knocking noise and I was afraid I was about to throw a rod or something was wrong with the transmission. JD called the next day and told me it was nothing near that major. I was expecting 1000 plus in repairs...but for under 350 it's running great! If you're looking for a guy with honesty and integrity he's the man! I won't go anywhere else

i took my car here to run diagnostics because the engine was making a weird sound. After taking it to Verns, they completely eased my worries! I dropped my car off for a day or two just to see if there was anything wrong! The mechanic was very honest and told me to please not to go back to the auto shop i took my car to before them! turns out that that auto shop didn’t give me an oil change and my car was running on barely any oil! i’m so appreciative of the mechanics that looked at my 2011 nissan rogue! :)

I’ll start by saying, they did a great job fixing my vehicle. I was only disappointed in the responsiveness and time efficiency. I had our truck towed to Vern’s at 9am on a Friday. I called maybe an hour later and left a voicemail to make sure it arrived safely and to go over what issues we were having with it. No response. I called again at 3pm just to have contact with the shop and left another voicemail. They finally called back an hour later to ask what was wrong with it. I asked if we can expect it to be ready for pick up by the end of the day and he said yes. I called right after 6 because I still hadn’t heard anything or received a phone call with the status of our vehicle and again there was no answer. They called back 20 minutes later and finally got a diagnostic of the issue. But he kindly let me know that it would be ready by noon on Monday because they don’t work weekends. Monday at 1pm rolls around, so I called once again to check the status. He said he doesn’t know where they were at with it because the mechanic is still on lunch. But he would call back in 10-15 minutes to let me know. After another hour, he calls back to let me know the new part is in but they still had to do drive cycles with it to make sure it’s running the way it should. We were finally able to pick up our vehicle 5pm on Monday. It runs great which is why I gave 2 stars. But we won’t be going back due to the lack of communication.

They use 10w-30 on every vehicle. I asked about using the right oil he said quote "oil is oil I bought the oil were gonna use that oil". For people who don't know cars using the wrong oil can mess up your oil pump, valves, or bearing as well. If you get your oil change often here and had any of this issues. Put a lawsuit on this guy so they learn there lesson.

Very poor customer service. Man who answered phone claimed he didn’t do estimates over the phone. Blew me off basically told me to find somewhere else to go. That I will do forsure !

I really appreciated the service that I received here. I went in to get a radiator hose replaced. Nobody tried to sell me anything I didn’t need, and the prices were generous. When a second hose gave out on me, they even replaced it free of charge. That should tell you everything you need to know about this business. They are a shop of integrity!

Honest, professional, reliable service. I would recommend going to Verns over any popular well known company. The large companies (Midas or Firestone) hire mechanics but they can't tell if the mechanics are honest or not. Verns auto repair provides honest feedback even if it means less money for them. This shop! I will never take my car elsewhere! Have taken it twice for two separate issues and they have done amazing both times! I was a little skeptical but they quickly changed my mind! Speedy service, friendly employees, and most of all HONEST! They could have easily made at least $650 today by telling me the issue was something more but they didn’t. Very pleased with this shop and will recommend to everyone!!
