I took my car two weeks ago to Sam, and he helped me a lot with my car, he not only fixed my car but he went on his way to replaced a part of my trunk! Very helpful and quick service!

Excellent staff, they were not able to fix my husbands car due to what model it was and the parts it needed however they were very honest about this!! Did not take advantage of the situation and just let us know where we should go from here. Could not recommend enough if you want a honest and trustworthy guy working on your vehicle.

Took a Lexus that I’ve never had a single problem with until the starter went out. I purchased a brand new one at Auto Zone for about $60-$70. Since I was new in El Paso, I asked a cousin to help me find a reliable mechanic and he ended up giving this place. With a Middle Eastern or Russian owner/mechanic who was going to replace it for me. I don’t recall how much he was charging me, it was outrageous though. When I got the car back the entire car smelled like gasoline. And it stunk like that as I was driving, so I immediately went back, just to be told that it was normal and it would go away in a few hours. That the type of Lexus I had (2005 Lexus LS430), had to have half the engine taken off just to replace the starter and in the process some fuel lines had to be disengaged. This wasn’t told to me by the Arab/Russian owner but by the lousy/lazy Chicano workers that he has employed. Needless to say, the smell never went away but instead I got an additional problem of the transmission not accelerating as well. I would floor it so that it would shift gear and it would take its sweet time doing so. When I took it back after a week of feeling like Pepe-LePeu, the cartoon skunk, the Arab owner (and I believe his Americanized name is Sam), was there. He looked at the car, took it for a spin, also floored the gas pedal while I rode with him. He said to leave the car and he’d take care of it. I came back the day after, where he told me that a fuel line had been left disconnected by his inept crew of mechanics, and that’s why it smelled so penetrated from gasoline. That he’d also bought some brand new parts for who knows what amount that would get rid of the transmission problem. He mentioned that him and his crew only did motor work and had to send my car to a friend that did transmission work. I can’t recall the parts he bought, but they were along the lines of distributor cap, coils, and spark plugs for something like $600-$700 out of his pocket. Which was irrelevant to me. You messed up my car, fit it. Period. The car never ran the same ever again, it rode a bit better that how I initially received it. So I went back after another week another week to complain about it. Only this time I went understandably upset to do so. After raising my voice that I needed the car the way I turned it in, NOW, this dude lost his professionalism and took a fighting stance against me. I’ll just say that he’s lucky voice raising is all that this 12-year mixed-martial arts practitioner did. I laughed in his face and turned to walk towards my car. Then he asked if he could check one more thing, like what just happened 15 seconds ago never did. I was about to open the trunk with my keys when I noticed the buttons on the keys were torn off and said, “Look. I can’t open the trunk because the buttons are gone,” to which he gave me a maddening look back saying if I was accusing him of that too. I just hopped on my car and drive away. I knew if I stayed there another minute, my L.A. personality would’ve kicked in, and I’d end up somewhere I shouldn’t be. I’ve driven my car that I brought in pristine condition from Los Angeles here, like that, ever since. Having to drive it in standard mode so the gears could shift somewhat properly, but it’s still frustratingly slow to pick up speed and I’m constantly honked at and flipped off because the car doesn’t push itself in traffic. Consequentially, the car finally gave out on me last week. The gears don’t shift. It stranded in the NE. It’s what I used to make money here, so I’ve lost what little I had saved in getting around. Don’t even know if the car is still there. To tow it to my house is $200 and to tow it to another mechanic, just to look at a transmission, is $100. But I can’t even do any of the above if I’m not there at the car, myself, with the cars keys. Which costs me $50 with Uber, that I don’t have. I can’t go to work to come up with the money because the car is what gives me that money. I’m in a catch 22 here, rapidly spiraling out of control. Thanks to this place! Rating: Negative 5 stars

I had my car completely die on the side of the road. Every other repair place said they wouldn’t be able to look at my car for at least a couple of days. The tow truck driver (George) recommended this place. Not only did they (Sam) look at my car right away but it was fixed by the next day. Price was lower than I was expecting (needed a new alternator). I found my new mechanic for my car. I will definitely be going back for any future needs. Highly recommend this mechanic shop!

Best auto shop I’ve been to in El Paso. The owner is extremely understanding, flexible, and trustworthy. As a woman, this is one of the only car repair businesses that I’m comfortable taking my car to.

We got stuck in El Paso and they saw to our car first thing in the morning as they knew we were driving a road trip back home. Although he couldn’t find anything wrong mechanically with the car, he gave us honest advice and made sure we were comfort Taking the car back before leaving. They also catered to our requests to check specific things without hassle. Amazing service!

I had a car emergency that needed urgent attention. As my life is centered around my car I need it and was being told by many it’d be at least a few weeks before I could get it back. The towing truck company I had called said this place could help me and get it done same day. And that was true. He got it to the shop the owner looked at it and diagnosed it and texted me update pictures and got it to me the same day. Upon my arrival he had many cars being worked on so to be able to squeeze me in for this same day was a blessing. The owner was nice and informative. And the price was good considering how fast he got the job done on a specialty car. So if speedy repair is what you need cause you’re like me living alone with only one car I recommend.

Don’t let the towing guy take you to vista. I broke down and I called the towing to take me to fire stone shop , the towe guy recommended Vista auto service , and they said the Diagnastic will be free when we get there he gave me a quote of $4500 for new engine which I felt something wrong I reject the service and I called different towing company and I did towed my car to different shop and I was surprised it was the alternator and I paid $450 parts and Labor. And Vista auto service charged me $250 for diagnostic which is first said for free.run away

Similar experience to a recent review. I wanted to bring my car to a different shop after it broke down. My tow truck driver called me to recommend another place instead. I made the mistake of allowing him to talk me into this place that I've also visited for another issue I had with my car. Both times I never received an itemized receipt and it was just charged a random amount. This time I was called by the owner who let me know that at first nothing was wrong with it and it was driving. Then later I called for an update and said he ran a diagnostic and said it was a transmission. I quickly started searching for a new car since I had no time to deal with a bad transmission on an older car. I went to go pick it up and was told that what the diagnostic and the oil that they charged me for was going to be $200. Again, no itemized receipt and was just charged. I would have rather gone to a shop that lists in detail what they did and how much it cost.

Very bad experience, had a tow truck company take my car here because they recommended them "very good service" I trusted the guy, biggest mistake ever they charged me for a diagnostic for my vehicle,didn't even show me a paperwork or any report showing what the diagnostic report was, Sam the owner sweared it was the battery and alternator which was never the cause, I took my vehicle to BMW service and nothing what Sam told me his "diagnostic" reported was accurate . When I picked up my vehicle I founded a pack of cigarettes, and they lost my mail key and took all my change that I had on my vehicle ! VERY BAD EXPERIENCE AVOID GOING HERE .

Paid $470 to have my radiator changed. The owner is very RUDE. After I picked up my car I realized they forgot to add new anti-freeze to my car so I drove my car all the way home without it. After I called them to ask if they had forgotten to put coolant or if maybe there was a leak somewhere, the owner was hanging up the phone and I heard him say “this guy has called me hundreds of times” in a very rude tone. In reality I called him 3 times total, once to schedule the appointment, once to return his call, and once after pick-up when i saw there was no coolant. I would NOT recommend giving your money to this business since they missed such a SIMPLE part of changing a radiator and topped it off with providing TERRIBLE customer service.

Azzam was the best. I highly recommend using this gentleman shop. My two daughters were stranded in Elpaso with a busted front bumper and he was able to get them on the road quickly and safely and communication and transaction. We’re super smooth and they were back on the road very quickly.

Mr Sam and Mike know their stuff ! I have 2013 f150 5.0 that was in the worst possible condition and Mr Sam was able to bring it back from the dead! It’s hard to find a honest mechanic nowadays but this man has integrity when it comes to his business and reputation and stands by his word. I have been by 3 times and he always comes through. This man, Sam, completely saved my life on a miserably hot El Paso day. I was stranded and he was at my side five minutes after my desperate call, to bring my battery back to life and remove the jacks from under my vehicle. It was a terrible assignment under the harshest conditions, but he did the job like a champion (resourceful and improvisational!) and an hour later I was safely back on the road. He was pleasant and competent, just the right man for a rescue. I encourage anyone in the El Paso area to call on Sam when car trouble arises. Five stars!

Azan saved the day! We have been stranded in El Paso since Saturday and he was able to get started on our repair to get us on the road quickly! We were referred to Vista Auto Service by our family , which live in El Paso. He fixed our fuel tank, fuel injectors, fuel filter & fuel pump within 2 days.
