Very ugly service. Brought them my car for an oil change by appointment, they refused to accept it. Said come the next day! How to understand this. I asked for time off from work for this.

서비스 별로에요 차량 서비스도 없구요 사람이 와도 오던지 말던지 대면대면 하고 사람 찾아다니면 서비스 받는거 물어보구 다니느라 20분 소요 접수 후 두시간 걸린다고 하네요 기다리는 공간도 타이어 냄새가 너무 심해서 공기가 안좋아요 담엔 폭스바겐 안타려구요. 렉서스가 서비스가 좋네요 환경도 좋구요 차량 서비스도 있고

Volkswagen Downtown LA is the worst place I ever visited for auto service. I don’t recommend anyone to go to this dealership. I don’t think they have the right mechanic. What happened to me is, I had a problem with auto stop/start of my VW Tiguan and took to VW dtla. They made a diagnosis and advised me to change the battery (I had never had any problems except the auto stop/start). I trusted them and agreed to change the battery and they changed accordingly. But the problem with the auto stop/start still persists and I went to VW dtla again, told them that the problem is still there and they tested the and changed the battery again. Still no change in with the stop/start, rather this battery failed to start the engine at all which has never been happened before. I went to VW dtla again and I told them what’s happening but this time they refused even to see what happened and requested me to pay for the senseless diagnosis again. As the battery has 4 years warranty they were supposed at least test the battery but they refused to do that. Finally I found out that the battery was broken on top next to the positive terminal, which is impossible to happen after installation. I talk to the manager but no solution. How the mechanic at this big dealer company installed broken battery? How do I trust them to do diagnosis as they didn’t properly address the original problem? I never expected such a big mistake from this dealer.

My last three Jettas have been serviced at this location and every time I've have had friendly service with clear communication. I live nearby so having such a dependable VW service center has kept me as a loyal customer.

First, I called to schedule an oil change because I thought I needed one at 6000 miles. When I called to schedule, I told them it was 6000 miles, then I made the trip for the appointment and was told I didn't need an oil change until 10,000 miles so I left. I then came back months later for my 10,000 mile oil change. Upon arrival I was told it would be at least three hours for my oil change- I had an appointment in Toluca Lake at 4:45 that I would miss if it took that long, I was not aware it would take that long, so I rescheduled and rescheduled again. I then arrived the following week for my 10,000 mile service. It did wind up taking 3 hours but at that time I was prepared- the vehicle wasn't cleaned, which I've never experienced before at a dealership oil change, but overall the service was fine.

I went in for a flat tire, I was there at 7:30 am. First car at the gate. I left the dealer at 9:15. I mean more than 2 hours to get the tire replaced! This is a 30/40 minutes job!! Staff is nice, I only wish they will have updated me!

The waiting for my car to be ready my appointment was at 9:00 am and the car was ready around 2:00 PM. 5 hours waiting for me is to long. Not happy about it

Martin was great. Nice guy. I did bring in my car without an appt. the morning of the 25th at 7:30am. I had a flat tire and limped in but i also had a couple maintenance issues to take care of. Dropped off all good and then no call or e-mail all day. I called around 5pm to get an update, was advised I would be called back and no call. I called back but service dept was closed. No problem...left car overnight. No word all morning until received e-mail for work approval. Approved what I approved then no word all day. I finally called around 4:45pm and was told may car would be ready before close. If I didn't call would I have been advised...? Not sure. All good, felt communication could have been better though. I have also tried a few times now over past couple years to rectify a recall item. Apparently DTLA does not have part/tool to complete. Last item...I forgot to give service my Spring Ready Coupon which would have saved me $75. This was sent to me in Feb and I had every intention to give when I paid...but forgot. I called back today and was advised they could not accept it as the service ticket was closed. Couldn't my CC have been refunded $75? I spent $812. I would do that at my hotel. Was told I could use it toward my next service. No idea when that will be but I suspect it will be declined as will expired. Regardless...I love VW and have had 6 or 7 of them now. Long time client of VW DTLA and always happy.
