This shit was genuinely awful. Was told the tire repair was going to take 1 hour and it too 3 and a half. Workers standing around doing nothing, do not come to this place. Seriously.

I asked if they had time for tire rotation, balancing and add any air needed. After waiting over 4 hours the associate comes in the lobby asked whose escape was the one there and then he immediately says he can’t work on it and he will put air and return my keys. I have the unlimited plan for tires and he said I needed brand new tires. If I get new tires I have to buy the unlimited plan again. He did not even show me anything like where the wear is or what exactly he was talking about. He just didn’t want to do the job and if I bought new tires he wouldn’t be the one replacing them. It would be at another station. Do not waste your time or money at this location. They treat everyone like second class citizens. No one at Walmart has to anything extra they get paid the same no matter how much work they do. Horrible place Sam Walten would turn in his grave.

Stayed until almost 8:30 pm. Had a rough day at work, exhausted already, one of those days you’re fighting to stay awake/alert and had to wait 2 and a half hours after work for my oil to be changed. The technician left the mechanic and told me he would only be 20 minutes why didn’t he just help him so we could all leave sooner. When mechanic was done he was rushing to leave me at the customer center with no one at the counter so HE could go home. Almost in tears due to being so tired and knowing when I get home I’d only have an hour to settle in, eat, and get ready for the next day. Walmart can be slow but that was outrageous.

Worst service ever! If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I had my son follow me to drop my car off around 3pm for an oil change and was told that it would be about 60-90 minutes to be completed and that there was one car ahead of me. When I checked the status on the website at 5pm, it said my car was still only checked in, so I decided to call and see what was going on since 2 hours had passed. It took 3 phone calls, with the first 2 ringing unanswered for about 5 minutes each time, before someone answered at 5:35pm and I was told that they hadn't done the oil change and that there was nobody there to do it. When I began to complain - in a calm manner, mind you (I survived a brain tumor so nothing really gets me angry anymore) - I was immediately handed off to a front of store manager who really knew nothing about what was going in the Auto department. I informed her that this was the 2nd time in 6 months that we had brought a car in that sat there for over 2 hours with nothing done and no call to let us know what was going on. My son and I immediately left to go pick my car up and, literally 90 seconds before we pulled up, I got a text telling me that they had JUST started on my car. I immediately tried to call them to tell them to not touch it since I was already told they hadn't been able to get to my car, and - of course - nobody answered the phone again. When we pulled up, I walked up to the bay and asked the guy if he had already started it or was about to start and he said he was finishing up. Needless to say, I refused to pay since I was told to come pick it up without the work being done. And I'm not surprised at all that the guy working the cash register didn't bother to apologize - his only response was to tell me to no longer come there since they weren't planning on trying to up their service game. He the went on about how all businesses were going to be just like them within 2 years, so I should just get used to it. As someone who works for a family business in the service field, I can assure you that most companies will NOT become like Walmart. There's a reason that Walmart is a last option destination for me. Don't worry, I won't be going back.

I had a blowout just on the freeway close to this Walmart so I limped in there in my truck and an hour and a half before closing time they were able to get me in and get a tire on my truck so I can make it back to North austin.

When i checked in I was told, I wouldn’t pay anything. The worker showed me the screen that it was gonna take the amount off. He said well the systems working the way that it should you shouldn’t have to pay anything and if it does when we check you out, I’ll take it off. Sounded great to me. Told me they’d get to it as soon as they can. I checked in at 8:10 Am. four tires took 3 hours My vehicle is finished at 11:25 AM and they charge me and one of the employees was a little hostile Because I was confused on why I was having to pay when the other man told me I wouldn’t have to so he told me in a rude way definitely should’ve been compensated from my time. They should’ve kept their word when I checked in I had even called to check on my vehicle status and they told me that my vehicle wasn’t there because I left having it been so long. So there’s definitely people that don’t know what they’re doing and I was very upset.

I recommend you purchase all your auto batteries from Walmart, they stand behind their Evermax line of batteries. Brought my vehicle in after another shop performed a test on our battery - it was showing signs of premature failure. Brought it in for a cold crank test at this Walmart Autocare center. It passed. Memo was helping me. He is the guy you want to work with. Honest & Super Hardworking. Things take long here because like everywhere they are short staffed. He offered to perform a longer test on the bigger battery tester machine - that does cycle testing. That reported a failure. And Memo started the process of swapping the battery free of charge because it was under warranty. Thank you Walmart for honoring warranties and Thank you Memo for your excellent work ethic. 👍🏽

Not from the area, we were traveling back home which is more than 150 miles away. Needed a tire patch but unfortunately the auto center was booked up and so were the other places we called. Despite the team being busy, they were very kind and helpful; I could tell they genuinely cared and wanted to help. Kris went above and beyond to help including checking in on us multiple times/recommending tools/etc. Dealing with a flat while traveling was a bummer but grateful for the care and attention from this auto care team.

They are amazing. The staff was wonderful. They went over and beyond to take care of us. We had bad experience with marble falls location and these guys made it right. Gave us an tire after a tire we bought had a manufacturing issue. This is how businesses should treat their customers. They set the bar very high. What a great team! Thank you guys for caring and making it right. We will give you’ll our business and recommendation from here on out.

Told me 45 minutes for oil change didn't finish l There wasn't a guy working on it for 1.5 hours. Some one came after 1 hr 45 min and started working. I would have appreciated it if they told me the actual time upfront. 😢

I love Walmart Auto Car Care at this SW location for one main reason: they keep good records of what I've bought and honor any warranties. This really worked out for me once, so I continued going there. This date, I just needed 2 new tires and a rotation of the 2 older tires, something with a short turnaround time. Supposedly only 5 cars were ahead of me, but it took literally all day, a new experience here for me. From looking halfway through the day, I could clearly see some customers had been allowed to jump the line in front of me. I still gave them 3 stars because they do a good job there. But if you're in a hurry, I'd recommend going somewhere else!

I’m not usually someone who leaves negative reviews, but honestly I had a terrible experience. Took over 6 hours to get a tire replaced (even with an appointment) and the associates working the auto center were incredibly rude to me and my friends. I’ve had better experiences at other Walmart Auto Care centers, but I would recommend avoiding this particular one

Prices are good and transparent. Services are good too. I walked in very late, but they were still willing to take me (I guess it depends on the how complicated the work is).I replaced one headlight and one break light. The service charge was only $12.5. I felt sorry for the extra working hour they spent. They deserve the thumbs up!

Worst automotive place ever! Was told there was two people in front of me for an oil change and it would be about a hour and a half. After waiting three hours, I asked what was up with my car and how much longer it would be. I was told I was next but everyone was going home soon and someone would try to get to me. After waiting another 20 minutes there was still no one moving my car from where I left it or seeming to care about anything but going home. Worst service I’ve ever had and I will never do business with this location again. Terrible customer service Walmart!!

Lady at the counter did not want to help. Told me they were not doing any oli changes at all. I asked when they might be able to do oil changes, she told me she didn't know. Was not helpful and very rude.
