If you’re considering going to Walmart Auto Services for a tire replacement or oil change, I strongly recommend finding another place. Unfortunately, my experiences at two different Walmart locations have been consistently disappointing. The wait times are extremely long—even with an appointment, changing a single tire can take over three hours. Each time, the excuse is the same: they only have one person working. It feels like the staff, starting with management, lacks motivation and urgency. Walmart really needs to invest more attention and care into this department to improve the customer experience. I ended up leaving after waiting for three and a half hours, frustrated and dissatisfied. This service just doesn’t meet basic standards.

These guys are complete scammers. I went in there because I previously bought tires from Walmart with a warranty. I wait in my car for 30 minutes, the guy comes out and I tell him I want to replace my tires if the warranty covers it. I am literally hydroplaning on the road and its unsafe. (I know its the two I bought from Walmart because I just replaced my back two) He says ok, gets my number and information. I ask him how much will it be with warranty he says, they'll take it off based on the thread after I replace them. Then he asks what tires I want, just shows me two price points. I chose the better one as I am getting a warranty price due to the severity of my tires. After I pick my car back up my total is 272 which would be full price for install of two tires. I tell the lady and she says she's going to have to get her manager. The manager comes and tries to make it look like the tire shop I went to told me that because they want the sell. He says lets go look at the tires. We look at the tires and he says it's on 3', which is yellow and low. Which is the reason I am hydroplaning because my other two tires were just replaced a week ago. Then he says there's nothing we can do, I ask him for a payment plan and he says we can take the tires off and put your spares on but we cant put the old ones on and I am assuming you don't have two spares. So I ended up paying over 75 dollars more by going to Walmart instead of Discount Tire's price they quoted me because I had a warranty from Walmart's tires that are fake. I would never recommend buying tires from here, there is no warranty, they lie. They cover up their tracks to avoid paying customers back and losing money so the managers can get their bonus at the end of the year. I used to come here for all my stuff but after finding this out I will never return again. Worst part I bought the worker Mcdonald's to be nice just for him to screw me over! lol

Wait time too long… no one comes to your car for over 30 mins of waiting and that’s just to be asked how can they help you in top of the 2 hr oil change wait poor customer service and poor service period

Very bad experience! Walmart shipped two tires to my home address. I arrived just as they opened and was the first customer. A work order was written up to mount and balance the two tires. A number of customers arrived after me apparently for oil changes. They were given priority while my vehicle sat in the tire service bay. It took over three hours before my two tires install was done. My vehicle had greasy fingerprints on both front fenders and doors. I checked the tire pressure and found the new tires were under inflated by 15 psi based on the door sticker recommendation. I also noticed that the balance dots on the tire sidewall were not aligned with the valve stems. I will never return there for any service work.

at oil change they messed up my car, it does not run, engine locked no oil no drain plug and they deny their fault. save yourself do NOT use walmart autocare at all.

The worst customer service ever, they are supposed to open at 7 am, I have 30 minutes waiting and the doors are still closed, they play with people's time, Walmart is the WORST!!!

Worst ever... Never patronize.. Took almost 3 hours plus after have valid appointment. No team lead or stote managets come to respect your request when the auto center does not respond to the delayed 3 plus hours of simple oil change process. Cannot even get in touch with the Store Manager... He is totally protected.

went there for a tire rotation and balance, waited 3 hours when there were no cars when we got there, and they ended up losing the bag my locknut came in took them 30 minutes to find. Some guys that work there seem real slow. Total time for service was 3 hours and 30 minutes

Had issues with a oil change done. The auto manager (Brian) tried really hard to avoid me, also never returned any of my calls. The techs are great and more supportive than the manager. I have no idea how he became a manger. I'll never take any of my vehicles there again. In the end they did correct the issue, thanks to other managers but overall terrible experience.

I am not impressed with this auto care center. I called them at 9:30 am and spoke to a gentleman who asked me to come at 11am because then he would have 4 more guys in the service center to replace my battery. I sent my dad, who parked close to the center they told him he needed to park in the parking lot. My dad moved the car and went back in, to which they told him he needed to remove the battery himself! Then my dad asked if he could borrow a wrench so he could and they told him they do not lend tools and it might be easier for him to drive 30+ miles away to the service center who placed the bad battery! He had to come all the way back home, get his tools and then go back. I called to talk to the manager and they said he wouldn't be there till noon. While waiting for the replacement battery my dad was talking to another customer who said their service is horrible and takes up to 3 hours to replace a battery(something that should take no more than 15mins! Take your cars elsewhere where they value your business!

I arrived at 8:15. The bay doors were closed and there were 3 cars in line. After sitting there for 15 minutes I called the number. The man who answered said they would open at 9:30. I explained the website said they opened at 7. He said "yeah but we have no techs! WTH? IMO, those "employees" would be looking for new jobs! One not being on time or out sick, maybe, but ALL of them? Unacceptable!

I have been to this location in the past, had long wait time, and less than courteous techs. Today was much better! Very organized, helpful, courteous. There was a bit of a wait, but leader was organized and communicated with everyone. Whole team did a good job today! Thank you!

I pulled up to Bay. Workers just looked up at me and went back to work. I walked in told lady I need oil change she told me to be patient that someone would come give me a ticket. Sat and waited for them too finish with other vehicles to even talk to me. Waited an hour couldn't go anywhere else. Very unprofessional. They at least need to have someone get the information and keys from customers. Why do I have to wait for other people's cars to get service.

Was told it'd be 1 hr. I got my groceries and returned an hour later. My car was the bay with the hood up. I got a text from walmart so im thinking its done. NO..the text read "theyre starting my oil change". HUH? Over an hour and just now starting? After another hour and 20 minutes I was done. Then the "manager" (bit of a stretch to call him that) seemed to have ZERO desire to help customers. Or maybe it was me bc I'm white. Bc he was having a jolly ole time with everyone else. Actually I did see him "work": he handed me my key fob. Yet he insisted on keeping it in his pocket till his subordinate fetched a pen with ink in it. As if I was gonna run out and not sign or pay. He put my key on counter i said "thanks" and he said nothing back. Reverse racism? Cars were lining up outside and had no desire to help. He watched from the glass bc it was cold outside. Reading reviews from 3 years ago customers saying THE SAME THING IM SAYING. But nothing changed! Here's a hint: dont hire unmotivated and incompetent people. Instead hire proactive and productive people? Just a thought. Good prices, extremely slow and rude manager. I don't know his name but his picture on the wall. LOL

Worst service ! Brought my tire in at 10:30 waited till 2pm the guy told me it would take 1 hour ended up taking longer. On top of that they charge me for the tire that was under warranty. Apparently warranty doesn’t cover bubble tire.. this was a tire defect and still had to pay. Customer service horrible rude employee . They are so bitter!

I came to get 2 tires replaced at 5:50 and the guy told me he couldn’t take me because it was too late and they did not have enough time ( They close at 7) when I was waiting to make an appointment for next day, I saw a woman pulling in and she needed to get a tire replaced, and they agreed to replace i even though I came first and they had plenty of time.

I had a nail in my tire and was told by a guy that it was against their policy to fix it. He gave me an address of a tire shop around the corner. I purchased their roadside assistance with my tires. He told another customer the same thing. I had a feeling that he was lying and took my car to Walmart in Katy and they fixed it with no problem Wow Please Do Better Your inconveniencing customers just so you can be lazy.

I should have listen to the review when it said they took forever. I have been waiting for an hour sitting in my car not nothing. Then when I get asked about the wait to even get a ticket . The black tall guy with the fro . Rudely says “ you don’t know how I work” when I asked was a car that pulled up after mine would get slipped. This is ridiculous it’s almost 9 and theses ppl haven’t started on one car yet. Try any location but this one because coming early does no good .

Come to this place is the worst and the worst service @Walmart should replace the staff! This place is horrible the wait time is Ridiculous the young men take their time and the service manager is nonchalant.Horrible zero stars
