Bought four tires and had them mounted and installed. Two weeks later I caught a flat and tried to remove the tire to put a spare on but they cross threaded the bolts and my flat is stuck on the car. Trying to book an appointment to see if I can get my car towed and wasted a full hour calling automotive department only to be continuously hung up on over the course of 20 calls. Operator did their best to connect me when I called the general line. This is extremely unprofessional behavior from an auto repair shop.

Took them 8 hrs to replace a battery. They broke one of the terminals and left it, so vehicle didn't start the next day and cost me another $80 for mobile mechanic due to battery being under wheel. Very unhappy with their service.

Update: I had two appointments for two vehicles on this day… they failed me again. I had an 1130 appointment and saw they brought in two vehicles before mine. Time was 1220 when I asked where I was on the list. Come to find out the ticket writer LAWRENCE does not know how to do his job and was checking in appointments as walk-ins. Ask for Jory to check you in correctly. ————————————————————————— Simple oil change.. I'm a Lyft driver and popped my tire so I needed and new one to get back on the road to make money. I was told the wait would be about an hour and a half. I noticed for a majority of the wait that they had no cars in the tire bay working on any cars changing out tires. After 2 hours I called discount tire 5 min away To see how soon I could get in which was 30-40 min. Even though I have a warranty on my tire from Walmart I am going down the road to pay for a new tire at discount tire to save time due to having no idea when the single tire change will take at Walmart and I have to be on the road to make money. When I went to get my car keys from the employee I noticed that someones car was moved into the garage who had arrived after me. I asked why my car still hadn't been touched and was told that the other person has an appointment which I understand but I know that person has waited 2 hours also so it still doesn't make any sense why the garage was empty for a majority of our time being there. So to recap. A 2 hour wait for a single tire change which never happened and didn't see any work being done until getting my keys to go elsewhere.

Please do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. I waited five hours for a new battery. Yes, I said five hours! During that time, I was very observant as I had nowhere to go so I stayed and I could see why it took them so long to not only take care of my car but everyone else’s car multiple people complaining about the wait time For something so simple as replacing a battery. But I think it’s due to the fact that the employees and techs are distracted, lollygagging & messing around socializing versus actually working on task at hand. I witnessed this firsthand tech being distracted and literally stopping in the middle of working on the car to talk to other employees coming and going being distracted by conversation , my whole experience was really unfortunate And the department manager, Jeff? I don’t really understand what his actual role was? Considering the situation, the Shop seemed to be in considering they had to stop taking walk-ins because they were so behind Jeff the manager was just stocking shelves the whole time? It may have been helpful if he was able to keep his employees on task and not allow the fraternizing. Worst establishment I’ve ever been to

Just change battery. Wait 3 hours now. Also they need 1 more hour. They can charge battery right away but how cannot change battery.

Pathetic and incompetent is what these so called mechanics are. We waited 2 hours to get a simple oil change! They said NO, then they said OK we will do it. They ended up draining transmission oil and added more then required amount of oil…the vehicle started smoking out of the exhaust, we had to call a tow truck because the vehicle was in operable!! A whole day wasted because of pathetic employees!! STAY AWAY From this place!

We received a smokin’ deal on four new tires for our SUV. Appointment time was 7am. Completion time 9:37am. 2.5 hours for four tires. Trash.

Horrible service, they make an appointment for you and you have to wait more than an hour for them to attend to you when you already have your appointment scheduled and they charge you for additional things. I really don't recommend it. horrible el servicio te hacen un cita y tienes que esperar mas de una hora para que te atiendan cuando ya tienes tu cita agenda y te cobran cosas adicionales la verdad no lo recomiendo

went to get a tire changed because i had a bubble in it. they told me the warranty would cover it. i waited 4 hours for my car to be done. it took 3 hours just for my car to be taken in to be worked on. 1 hour to change a tire is insane. i live in california & i could’ve honestly driven 40mph on the freeway & gotten it changed there faster than it took this piece of trash walmart to do it. oh & the warranty didn’t cover it (surprise) so i had to pay for a new tire & warranty even tho i didn’t use the first warranty. it’s not worth arguing with a teenager over so i just paid. not only this but the majority of the employees didn’t want to be working there. i shopped a bit for necessities & was ignored by the cashier in the makeup department when i walked up to be rung up. after this, i went back out to check on my car to see another employee cussing & complaining about covering someone’s break. honestly this was the most unprofessional walmart i’ve ever been to & i live in the ghetto in southern california.

FYI: They are not installing tires on Teslas and same story with the next door Sam's Club. So you have to go elsewhere.

I first arrived at the Walmart Auto Center at 6:10 in the morning on March 21st and waited for an hour until it opened, but the staff told me to wait for 3 days or make a reservation and come tomorrow since there were many reservations. It is doubtful whether the black employee was racist.

Go elsewhere! I went inside to talk to someone to get 2 tires mounted/balanced, installed on my vehicle in the back, and then place those tires in the front. She informed me to return outside and look for her supervisor, who was in a yellow vest. I stood outside in the chilly wind for about 20 mins or so, never seeing a single person in a vest. Another employees moving tires walks by, and I ask him if I was in the right place and who I was looking for. He confirms that I am, he will try to find him. He comes back about 5 minutes later and says,'I dont know, someone said he may be in the bathroom.' He told me if he doesn't come back shortly then he will help me. Another 20 minutes goes by 😑 an employee from the oil change department even asking me if I'd been helped, saw me standing there for so long. I told him what I was waiting for, and he confirmed that I'm waiting for the right person. Maybe another 15 minutes later, the employee that had the tires walks by again and says,'You still haven't seen him? OK, hang on' and dissappears around the corner of the building. Another 10 mins and he come back and pointed to a man in a vest and said thats him in the beanie but hes helping another customer- I didn't even see him go over to a customer; he had to have made a beeline from the garage to this woman really fast. I asked if I should stay put, and he said 'yeah after he's done with that customer, he will come over and get a key tag.' About 5+ minutes later, the man in the vest walks my direction to his podium where I've been standing. I tried to explain to him that I needed some help and that I've been waiting there to speak with him a while now. He says 'well I'm going to help these customers, it's first come, first serve,' and started to brush me off. I began to protest how i had been there a long time, and he said 'well I have to help the others here first'. So, another customer in the parking spaces, who had been waiting awhile too spoke up in my defense and said 'shes been here longer than I have, maybe longer than anyone here.' The man in the vest still seems a bit peeved but says okay 'will you pull your car into this spot and points to the closest one. So I do. As I start to get out the same employee pushing the tires, now working on a truck behind my car at that point says 'hey can you pull in this other spot because after I jump start this car I want to just pull forward and out. 😑 so I moved my car again. It takes 10 more minutes before the guy in the vest began to help me-i had to explain a few times since I think he was confused a bit abowhat I needed. I handed him my keys and got a tag and was told to give about 30-40 mins. So I wondered around for almost an hour in store (mind you at this point, I'd been there just short of 3 hours). I get get a phone call from a Los Angeles phone number. Sorry, I'm one of those people that if I don't know the number you can leave a message and I will call you back. 😬 no voice-mail. A second call from the same number, so I go ahead and answer. The guy tells me he's the technician working on my car and that he wanted to tell me that my tire pressure sensors needed replacement and that 3 of the 4 were bad (sorry but things bouncing on the road constantly like that are going to go bad all the time in my opinion so I don't pay much attention to them…plus I knew only one sensor was bad as I recently had them tested) I politely said no thank you not today and he tells me to give him about 30-35 mins. I did some shopping/about 50min later, I paid for my stuff and returned to the auto area. I could see my car through the window. Still mounting a tire,the guy sees me, I don't stare but stand nearby. 20 minutes or so later, I hear my car start up. I peek around the corner and watch the guy literally PEEL OUT, leaving the garage. I get my keys and pay. I find everything in my car is moved (the seat positions all as FAR back as they go. All my mirrors moved and just left it like that. I'd say just go elsewhere. It's not worth the few $ saved by going here for this type of service!

I wish I could give 0 stars. I have never gotten worse service in my life. Even the manager Jeff needs to take a customer experience class. Wish I never would have bought my tires at Walmart. AVOID at all costs!!!

Read carefully!!! They changed the engine oil of my car, and my car's engine started to leak oil. When I went and asked the reason for the problem, they first told me that this problem had started before))) but when I confidently stated that I had my own parking lot and that the problem started after the oil change, the service personnel there told me that a plastic oil plug should be replaced during oil changes. Also are you telling me this now!!??? Is this a joke? How should I know this? In total, I wasted $60 and hours of my time for an oil change. But thankfully, I noticed that the vehicle was leaking oil and saved my engine from breaking down. They are amateur and uninterested. If you love your vehicle, your money and your time, stay away from Walmart... I just want to thank Carmen for her interest!

The guy at the counter was rude. For absolutely no reason. I came in for a replacement battery, and they said i didn't need a battery i needed an alternator. Went to replace my alternator, and the mechanic i went to showed i had a huge hole in the battery. And when i went to go back to Walmart and replaced the battery, the old guy in the front was so rude. I was not disrespectful in any way. Told him what battery i needed. Ignored me and then tried to give me the wrong battery. But another worker came in and fixed it. But apparently, since im a young woman, i deserved the disrespect by the old man? I'm not too sure what i did. But the lady at the counter wasn't allowed to work, she was so kind. Thankfully, they have 1 decent person working there. Basically, overall, dont go here. They will rip you off unless you know what you're doing. The only thing i recommend about walmart Auto is their cheap batteries. And cheap oil changes.

arrived 9:40am for 10:am appt. Left at 10:45am because they still had cars in front of me. They have 4 bays but were only using 1. As I sat there for 2 hrs only 1 car left with tires, a lot of people doing nothing. Tire dept. is a horribly run debt.

It’s now 7:29 and I am still in line waiting to check in because they have 1 singular guy working this line and rather than separating oil changes into their own line everyone is waiting together & I am stuck waiting for my tire appointment behind all of them.
