I waited for more than 3:00 hours, other people passed in front of me and when I went to talk to the attendant he still said that I had to wait my turn.

It is very hard to find a place in an emergency in the City of St. Louis, especially on the North side of town. Wedge Tire is located on the old Broadway streetcar line. 2 new friends of mine were involved in a terrible accident on Adelaide and 70 about 5 minutes away from Wedge, tire. While they don't do on-site service for passenger cars, they seem to carry a large inventory of tires for them. It took just 30 minutes to be on my way, but be advised if your car is damaged (such as this one) you will have to mount the tire yourself because of liability issues. I understand that. I was just thankful that they were close by and open. It is hard doing business in that part of the City.

Got a bubble on the sidewall of a brand new tire installed the day prior from a different shop. Took our rental car into Wedge Tire and they immediately got us in the bay. They told us the previous shop (that replaced the tire the day before due to a nail) had mounted it backwards, damaged the bead, and the tire was never properly sealed onto the wheel. They had us in and out of the shop in less than 20 minutes. We were in St Louis only for the day, and hardly missed out on anything we wanted to do. After being somewhat scammed by a shop with shoddy work, our experience with Wedge was awesome. The people were extremely friendly, professional, and HONEST. Wish i could give a better rating thank five stars

Everywhere we went told us 4-5 hour wait to plug a tire. Wedge got us in right away. we were in and out quickly. They were super helpful and so, so nice. Great customer service. Highly recommend

I'm sitting on the side of the road with my 5 month old son in the car and my kids father took off our tire that had fix a flat in it to get aired up and they wouldn't do it for him. It was a 5 minute walk to this place with the tire in hand and they turned him away in the rain and cold while I sat on the side of the highway with my 5 month old. Now he has to turn around and walk a mile away with a flat tire. What is wrong with people? Where is the love at in this world. Its sad because my kids father helps people all the time. The guy told me when I called up there that it could kill his employee if he aired up the tire with fix a flat in it!

They say first come first served , that's not true , if a family member of the shop come after you , they will be serve before you, and if they give you a quote over the phone when you get there they charge you more. BEAWARE
