Disgusting service. They took 60$ for patch on my tire and did nothing. My tire became empty in a couple hours. They didn't return my money back. Absolutely not recommended.

A call representative named Cat called me from the tow company and was totally unprepared, had zero correct information and rude because she didn’t know what was going on. Zero costumer service. Totally uncalled for, I’ll not be using this company ever again.

Worst customer service. We tried calling for a tow truck through our insurance and the front desk just hung up on us. He kept saying the same thing of 90 minutes pick up time. We were literally 10 minutes away from them. We ended up calling another towing company. Do better.

Car wouldn't start due to the cold and me leaving a light on in the car. Was about -7 and feeling like -27. The tow truck operator was nothing but professional, friendly, courteous, and stayed with me until we got it started. Explained why it happened, ways to prevent it, and advice on how long to keep it running for a charge. Again the guy really great, would give 20/10 if possible.

Excellent service and great guys. I highly recommend them. My car battery kept dying and I couldn't figure out the issue. AAA replaced my battery but wasn't much help. Wells St Automotive realized it was a parasitic drain and spent a lot of time trying to fix the issue. They weren't able to fix the issue, but they were incredibly generous and ethical by letting me know that it was going to be really expensive to further diagnose and fix it. They did not charge me a diagnostic fee despite putting in a lot of work on the car. I appreciate them being honest and upfront with me. They also had great communication while the car was in the shop.

Fit me in while I was looking at a car and gave me a free in depth inspection and report on the car. Saved me from buying a vehicle that would have cost me a lot of money.

Fast response and professional character for Mr Francisco. Mr Francisco was very professional with his service. He arrived very promptly and called me before arriving. He was polite and friendly. He performed his work in a very professional manner. He did not scratch my Lincoln while performing a lockout. He was very helpful with answering my questions about battery cost was and what type of battery my vehicle. Thank you Francisco. My wife dropped off her car, and they proceeded to call me to ask what was wrong? Apparently a woman's opinion is not as good as a man's. This is the second terrible experience with this shop, as the owner is 100% a thief and took advantage of people during covid. (Charge a $100 cleaning fee - where they sprayed Febreze in your car XD) Please avoid if you are a woman, or do not know much about cars as they WILL absolutely take advantage.

This is the 2nd time I’ve taken my car to Wells for service and repair. It’s a 2012 and looks like a brand new car. I’m amazed.

This place was great. Staff is super friendly. Got a flat tire down the street and happened upon this place. I'm from a different neighborhood on the other side of the city, so was bummed when they said they didn't have the necessary tire in stock and i might have to leave it there and wait until Monday. I was attempting to rearrange my work schedule, kids stuff, ride home, etc to see how I could leave the car and come back on Monday. There's no way I could've driven it anywhere else. The staff heard my plight (as I'm calling a million different people to pick up my kids, get to work, etc), and they were able to arrange to get a tire from another facility and put it on. ALL IN UNDER 2 HOURS!!!!! This business literally saved the day. I cannot recommend them enough. Price is comparable with what you would pay at any shop in the city. Thank you to the entire team for saving the day!!!! (& ON the Friday before Christmas weekend too).

Very rude shop, was there to buy and install tires, asked about install my swaybar links, they said they cannot install my because "company policy" i said ok ill install with myself ita not a problem, and guy said go away, i will not sell u tires. Go away. Not recommend this shop

Wells is easily one of the worst service providers associated with roadside assistance. I scheduled a lockout and jump start through my insurance provider and was told (and received a confirmation text) the ETA of Wells would be 45 min. Less than 2 min later, I received a call from someone sluring thier way through a barage of questions asking where was I, what location was the emergency and why wasn't I waiting for them. Caught off guard, I informed them I am not at the location and I was about 10 min walk away. In the span 9 min, Wells continued to call more than 5 times to rudely ask my ETA. Every single call, the man on the other end of the line would simply hangup as I provided him with an update. As I made my way to the location of my vehicle I saw 2 slack-jawed men in a Wells truck leave the location, cross me in the crosswalk and head to McDonalds. I then received a text from my insurance indication the service had been canceled due to lack of response to Wells. I canceled my insurance provider over this when it was clear that Wells not interested in providing the service I had paid for and more interested in a Big Mac. I wouldn't trust Wells within 10 feet of my vehicles if these are the types of employees they employ. Rude, uneducated and lacking in all abilities required for any customer facing position.

While feeling frustrated for what had happened to my car, I asked the tow truck driver whether its going to be a problem to get my car up the truck because the wheel was not straight because of the crash. It’s a question coming from a woman who has had her car accident for the first time and it might sound stupid to him. Instead of saying “No, it it’s not a problem.” He said to me “Do you want me to do my job? Or you want to do it for me?” It’s like he has an ego as high as the skyscraper that he couldnt even answer a simple yes or no question. I really wish my insurance company take this towing service out of its network.

Had the pleasure of arguing with the most unprofessional people in a business this morning. Let’s start by saying my car was towed here after an accident and they tried to tell me I couldn’t get any of my property without paying $850 or $275 plus my title to receive my phone out the car. “Per state police rules” they claim. Called the state police using the number wells auto gave me and they told them to give me my property they have no right to hold it and there’s no hold on my car. LYING TO GET MONEY! The insurance company had already picked my car up from this location so all I need to do is show my id to get my property. So because I went over their head, they thought it was funny to ask me for all this documentation even the police report to get my phone. I called the police. You can also hear the petty behavior in the video. “Show her her phone” so of course after realizing these people wanted to play with and thought it was funny, these two guys got to hear some of my favorite choice of words and even heard how loud my voice box can reach :). Very ignorant and ghetto behavior.

I had a flat tire on thanksgiving day and Arthur was a superhero who was able to change my flat tire after having four other people do it. Arthur went above and beyond for me and made sure I was able to get home safely with a spare tire. He even put more air into it and I’m so grateful for him!!

Terrible experience. Took my car in to get some work done. They were pretty unprofessional, had an attitude, and were gaslighting me and straight up lied about things "to make me happy." Not only did they keep promising it'd be ready when it wasn't (things get delayed I get it, but then don't make false promises or inaccurate timelines), but they were also a headache to deal with AND actually gave my car ADDITIONAL issues when it was returned to me, due to poor workmanship since they didn't fix the issue well; it seemed like a cheap fix. Their "fix" actually caused the tailpipe they installed to burn thru the plastic of the car... The other mechanic elsewhere who looked at it afterward didn't understand why they "repaired" it in the way that they did, senseless. Terrible service and workmanship. Would not recommend!

This company is absolutely awful. I called for a new battery and they sold me a $375 battery that completely died less than a week later. They then installed another battery the wrong way, causing my car to malfunction on the highway. I went to another trusted mechanic and they reported the battery was installed incorrectly.

Joe helped me with my car battery today and he was a life saver! My last tow truck (from Most Wanted Towing) never showed up after I waited 4 hours. Joe arrived within 30 minutes, and was professional and knowledgeable. He got my battery running and even followed me to the mechanic to make sure I made it there okay, let me know what I should tell the mechanic about, and showed me where to leave my keys! Thanks so much for going above and beyond in a stressful situation, Joe! ✨

Nate from Wells Road Service was our hero last night! We tried jumping our car, but our charger didn't work. Two passersby helped with a jump and borrowing longer cables, to no avail. It was then time to call our insurance. My insurance said it'd be 45 to 75 minutes, but Nate actually arrived only 15-20 minutes later. He was able to quickly discover the problem and was able to do the service right then and there. He tested our battery and explained our issue, and reassured us that the service was guaranteed for 30 months. He was also fun to chitchat with while he did his work, to help relieve my worries. We were dreading a failed starter or alternator problems, requiring a tow and more time. Thank you, Wells Road Service, and Nate in particular! You guys saved us so much time, frustration, and costs by coming to our rescue. I highly, highly recommend 👌

Dishonest service. I called State Farm roadside for a jump, and they sent out someone from Wells Automotive Services. When they arrived, I told them the issue I was having, and they tested my battery. Turns out my battery was dead, and I needed a new one. The man told me the battery cost was $215.95 and there was a $150 installation fee along with a $10 disposal fee. I think he saw my hesitancy when telling me the install fee and before I could respond he asked me what insurance company I'm with and do I have full coverage. I said I'm with State Farm and yes, I have full coverage. He stated State Farm will refund you for the $150 installation fee, you just have to reach out to them and provide the receipt that we give you. I went through with getting the battery and reached out to State Farm and they said they do not refund for installation fees. I would not have paid $400 for a battery if I had known State Farm was not going to refund me the $150. I think that's very dishonest service to lie to people to get them to purchase a battery through your company. I reached out to Wells Automotive and spoke to a woman who said the owner was out, but she would relay the message to him, and he would reach back out to me. That was on Oct 25th, and I still have not heard back from anyone at Wells Automotive regarding the issue. Now I'm stuck fighting with State Farm to get my $150 back because of Wells Automotives dishonest practices. I absolutely would not recommend Wells Automotive!! ZERO STARS!!
