This company is absolutely awful. I called for a new battery and they sold me a $375 battery that completely died less than a week later. They then installed another battery the wrong way, causing my car to malfunction on the highway. I went to another trusted mechanic and they reported the battery was installed incorrectly.

Frank the owner is courteous patient and extremely professional. He made it a point to ensure that I completely understood the process and provided up to the minute updates to me. The work that was performed on my car restored my pride in my vehicle. Thank you Frank !!!

Solid service with friendly and trustworthy advice for the price quoted without any additional gimmicks to buy more, but they weren’t wrong about what we could still use updating. Shop local.

This is the 2nd time I’ve taken my car to Wells for service and repair. It’s a 2012 and looks like a brand new car. I’m amazed.

Dishonest service. I called State Farm roadside for a jump, and they sent out someone from Wells Automotive Services. When they arrived, I told them the issue I was having, and they tested my battery. Turns out my battery was dead, and I needed a new one. The man told me the battery cost was $215.95 and there was a $150 installation fee along with a $10 disposal fee. I think he saw my hesitancy when telling me the install fee and before I could respond he asked me what insurance company I'm with and do I have full coverage. I said I'm with State Farm and yes, I have full coverage. He stated State Farm will refund you for the $150 installation fee, you just have to reach out to them and provide the receipt that we give you. I went through with getting the battery and reached out to State Farm and they said they do not refund for installation fees. I would not have paid $400 for a battery if I had known State Farm was not going to refund me the $150. I think that's very dishonest service to lie to people to get them to purchase a battery through your company. I reached out to Wells Automotive and spoke to a woman who said the owner was out, but she would relay the message to him, and he would reach back out to me. That was on Oct 25th, and I still have not heard back from anyone at Wells Automotive regarding the issue. Now I'm stuck fighting with State Farm to get my $150 back because of Wells Automotives dishonest practices. I absolutely would not recommend Wells Automotive!! ZERO STARS!!

Honest professional business! Absolutely comfortable and confident in their repair recommendations and services. My 15 year old car came back to me after their work and ran/ looked like a new car. Was back for service this month and am again thrilled with the care of my vehicle and customer service Wells provided!

Joe helped me with my car battery today and he was a life saver! My last tow truck (from Most Wanted Towing) never showed up after I waited 4 hours. Joe arrived within 30 minutes, and was professional and knowledgeable. He got my battery running and even followed me to the mechanic to make sure I made it there okay, let me know what I should tell the mechanic about, and showed me where to leave my keys! Thanks so much for going above and beyond in a stressful situation, Joe! ✨

Nate from Wells Road Service was our hero last night! We tried jumping our car, but our charger didn't work. Two passersby helped with a jump and borrowing longer cables, to no avail. It was then time to call our insurance. My insurance said it'd be 45 to 75 minutes, but Nate actually arrived only 15-20 minutes later. He was able to quickly discover the problem and was able to do the service right then and there. He tested our battery and explained our issue, and reassured us that the service was guaranteed for 30 months. He was also fun to chitchat with while he did his work, to help relieve my worries. We were dreading a failed starter or alternator problems, requiring a tow and more time. Thank you, Wells Road Service, and Nate in particular! You guys saved us so much time, frustration, and costs by coming to our rescue. I highly, highly recommend 👌

I wouldn’t buy or use this services at all!! Very poor customer service and the technicians they send out about your car doesn’t know what their doing! & they refused to replace my battery even though they sold me a bogus battery under warranty. The owner (Michael) was very rude and speaks to you in a nasty tone. I wish I never used this service..

Spoke with Frank about my daughter’s car. Nissan wanted to charge $$$ for unnecessary work! Frank was honest and prices were fair. We will use Wells automotive again!

This company has a relationship with Tesla and they were contacted by Tesla to come out but they did not show up. I waited for 2 hours past the scheduled time very frustrated that I was left waiting and waiting. I called them numerous times as did Tesla with no response.

Every person I’ve interacted with at Wells is so incredibly kind. Nate, Kat and the tow people. So accommodating and patient. They made an otherwise stressful situation (car accident) just a bit more positive.

I got a nail on my right tire and Arthur is very good with what he does and he got here on time. I would suggest tho that the company gets a bigger jack specially with a suv that I have so it is safe for the mechanic and the car.

I just took our 2000 Volvo to Wells Automotive Service for the fourth time, this time for a minor repair (replacing the mirror on the drivers side). I don't need to make any changes to what I wrote after the third time: our car is running great and we want to keep it for the rest of our lives, but it's old enough that some major parts are no longer up to the job. The first time Wells Automotive replaced unbelievably worn out wheel bearings that had escaped the attention of the service department at the dealership where I had taken our Volvo for more than fifteen years. The second time they replaced malfunctioning oxygen sensors that Volvo didn't even make any more. And this time they replaced the rest of the exhaust system, the front brake pads, the spark plugs, and the trunk lift, and fixed a few other things as well (oil + filter, cabin air filter, reseal and rebalance a tire). Each time I couldn’t have been more impressed. Frank and Miguel were fast, efficient, and thoroughly professional. They told me in precise detail what was wrong, what it would take to fix it, and how long it would take. And the car came back looking like new. I love watching people doing something at which they are really very good. From what I could see, they aren’t just very good at what they are doing. They are masters of their craft.

My motorcycle was towed by them after an accident. They made it easy to grab my personal belongings from it and had no issues at all. Everyone I spoke with was friendly and helpful.

The best car service. Had a flat tire and had to leave town. Frank arranged to pick car up at my residence, repair it and return it. He does what is needed efficiently and will not try to upsell you on things you don’t need. First rate service.

Wells Automotive Service came in clutch tonight. Needed a jump start and Wells was what our insurance used for roadside assistance. Less than 30 minutes till we got a jump. Huge shout out to Craig!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. This repair shop doesn't even deserve one star. They will do anything to squeeze every cent out of you. Save your time and find another place. Do not go here, especially in an emergency—they will fully take advantage of you. They charged me $800 as a holding fee. After my motorcycle was stolen and retrieved by the police, it was taken here for holding. I called consistently for weeks trying to get this settled. Once the police department lifted the restriction, they confirmed it with the shop. The guy I spoke with on the phone said he would notify me once the restriction was lifted in their system and the vehicle could be picked up. Despite my frequent calls to avoid any fees, they failed to inform me in time, resulting in the $800 charge. There are three points of contact on file, yet no one received a call. The craziest part is when I called back and spoke with Nete, he said they are not responsible for notifying us when the restriction would be lifted and that he can't do anything about what anyone else told me on a different day.

Absolutely the WORST REPAIR SHOP in the City! This place makes it clear that they only care about money, not their customers. I’m not surprised to see over 50+ reviews echoing my experience. Their customer service is TERRIBLE—they don’t bother to fully look into any matter and lack professionalism. Every time I call, I get different information from different employees. The staff on the phone are extremely disrespectful and dismissive, and I should’ve known it would be worse in person. You’d think they could at least hide their attitude and not roll their eyes. Extremely unprofessional.

Had went in for an oil change and thankfully they did an inspection apart of the service. They were fair and reasonable. They were a repair-pale with CarMax and the process was simple for getting coverage. Frank was great with communication and super helpful.

Really great repair shop owned by lifelong mechanic. Frank is very thorough and totally committed to repairing your vehicle properly with no up selling or needless repairs. Totally honest guy with competent technicians. Highly recommended and fair! My vehicle was ready the very next day and was returned to me clean. Frank is very accessible and will answer any questions you have. I will definite use this repair shop in the future.

TERRIBLE... if you are in emergency situation they will scam you even more then they usually would. I wanted to write this review to save anyone else from a horrible experience. Avoid coming here at all costs! Would give this place 0 stars if possible.

Talked to a guy on Wednesday about starting the process of getting my car serviced here today. I arrived just to find out that they’ve closed two hours before closing time. It is very frustrating, as this is the ONLY time that I had free to do this, and I really needed to get my car serviced as my engine light has come on.

I took my car to Wells Automotive because it was having trouble starting. They were very kind. They tried for 3 days to get the problem to act up again. Since my car didn’t want to show them the problem we’ve had with it, they let me take back the car with no charge. I sincerely appreciate them trying to help.
