Very honest, upfront, and helpful, recommended by a friend, didn't try to dump $3k of unnecessary repairs on me like a prior shop I went to and didn't even charge me to top off some fluid, would have paid as it didn't sound like a huge expense

i am beyond grateful today. i had been to an auto shop the day before where they had told me i only had an issue with the caliper on one break and i knew i was being over charged at the other shop anyway. so that’s what i came in and paid for this morning. come to find out that wasn’t all that needed fixed he called to let me know what else he was going to take care of and when i came to pick up my car i didn’t get charged any more then on top of that he checked my break fluid for me. i was freaking out about how much i’d have to pay to get my car fixed and i got an amazing deal here. would definitely recommend thanks so much!

Driving a 19-year-old car, having a reliable and honest mechanic nearby is a MUST. My car is in the shop for some routine maintenance (and sometimes not-so-routine maintenance) about every 4-6 months. I have brought my car here 4 times, twice for minor/small repairs and twice for routine maintenance or larger repairs. Each time has been great! When I first moved to Omaha, in late summer of 2023, I asked a few coworkers where I should go and West Center Automotive was the #1 option recommended to me. They are very quick to repair my vehicle, often finishing within 24 hours if it is something minor, and they have never had to keep my vehicle more than 3 business days when it has been something major or something requiring additional parts to be purchased. In this current climate, many of us have struggled with the rising cost of goods and services. Since I am newer to the area, I can’t comment on previous years but I can tell you that what Terry and his team charge for their services is absolutely fair pricing! As a woman in her mid-20s, I have been to my share of shops where they might try to overcharge me or oversell me because I might not know better but that has never, ever been my experience at West Center Auto. They are friendly, respectful, kind, and they care about the quality and safety of my vehicle. Being from out of state, this definitely puts my family’s mind at ease knowing my car and I are in good hands. They always make safety a priority and explain what they repaired and why. They are short and to the point but provide really good information. This is always helpful so I know how to go about repairs or upkeep on those parts in the future! There might not be someone in the front of the shop every second because they are so busy repairing vehicles so just be patient and wait, they always come to the front quickly and as soon as they can! Terry and his team are awesome and I 100% recommend bringing your car here for any of your auto repair needs! Thanks y’all!

I’ve been to many different places to have my car looked at and this one exceeded all the expectations. They are friendly and honest. They were able to explain what different things meant for the health of my vehicle and what was going on as well. I have recommended this place time and time again and will continue to do so.

I have never left a review for a business before, but the service here has been so good that I am taking the time to leave this review. This is the best local mechanic in Omaha. I cannot recommend them enough. Took my car there to have an inspection. They were quick and gave me honest answers. Took it back when my transmission light was on. Did not try to upswell me and simply had to tighten some hoses/caps. They did this free of charge. I will never take a vehicle of mine anywhere but West Center Auto.

I have used West Center automotive off and on for years. I regret almost every time I havent used them, this decision was usually made because I was desperate. West center automotive has always been more than fair with their pricing and have never tried to sell me something I don't need. Every service I have ever received has been quality and they under promise and over deliver. This is a place you can trust.
