Service dept sucks. Always trying to upsell services. Let me leave with an oil leak one time because they broke a seal by overtightening. Glad the guy at the car wash caught it! One time they forgot to put the wheel lock key back in my car, I had to go back to get it and they said "was it serviced here?" Yea its a brand new car I've ONLY had it serviced here! Currently waiting over 2 hours for them to finish my oil change and tire rotation that I had a 10 am appt for, it's now after noon. Needed the battery changed in a key fob and they were like "its $80 to reprogram it" I turned to my husband and said i thought it just needed a battery? That's when they said "oh it's $8 for a battery". Seriously?! If I didn't have the westgate for life, I'd never come back. Still may choose not to because this is ridiculous.

Absolutely terrible customer service. Called on Saturday to schedule a Pre-Purchase Inspection. The gentleman I talked to said that I could come by anytime on Monday and gave me the cost of the inspection. Come Monday morning, I call 30 minutes before heading over there to confirm that it was a good time to bring it by. Again I was told yes and come by whenever. After arriving there and pulling into the Jeep service center, I talk to a service rep who tells me they will not do a PPI. They cannot do an inspection without doing other work like an oil change, and that in order for me to get one done I would have to schedule it sometime next week. So after calling, talking to TWO people who said I don’t need an appointment, and going to pickup the car from the dealer I am purchasing from, I am unable to get what I need done and wasted my morning. Terrible service and waste of time. Will not be dealing with WASTEgate in any of my future endeavors. (Other Jeep dealer in Raleigh, was much easier to work with and accommodating, they will get my business in the future)

Absolute crooks. I made an appointment online, got the confirmation text reminding me to show. They said it was a one hour job and the labor would be $195. My wife shows up and they tell her there's no appointment and labor will be at least $500. It was a long drive for her to get there and she works hourly too. Absolutely awful

Horrible service. Have been here multiple times where they "can't find the problem" but always have other items they find and want to charge to fix. Then I take the vehicle home and the problem instantly returns. Also, the past 2 times I have scheduled service appointments (and had to wait both times 2-3 weeks to get in), once I deliver my car it took 3 days one time and four days the second to get a call back with "suggested diagnosis". Do NOT go here. Jeeps in general seem to have more than there share of problems, but that is another post and another issue!

What a disappointment with my first service contact for an issue with my 2024 Jeep Wrangler Sahara. I was expecting professional representation, especially after purchasing a vehicle in the $55,000.00 price range. Tried forwarding complaint to General Manager Mike Hilsmeyer but email was blocked. Forwarded to Stellantis Corporate, let’s see if they respond.

Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. They WAY overcharge, and when I brought my Jeep in for a regular service and brought up 2 issues, they told me I had to schedule a completely different appointment to address the issues instead of just looking at the car while it was there. I also overheard them wanting to charge another person $400 to replace "bad lugnuts." I saw the car outside and the lugnuts looked perfectly fine. They'll nickle and dime you every chance they get. Can't believe I paid $670 for just a mileage service.

I bought my Chrysler Pacifica from this dealership in 2019 and have been regularly getting my vehicle serviced here. Unfortunately, after today I will have to service my vehicle elsewhere. I went in for a standard annual state inspection and was told my car wouldn't pass inspection unless the auto start ignition was fixed by replacing the alternate battery which I already replaced within the last 2 years. I kept insisting that I only want to do a state inspection, but Felicia the cashier in the service department was trying to bait me into paying $600 dollars to replace my auxiliary battery. I took my car to Apex state inspection and got my inspection done for $30. She was trying to deceive me into paying several hundred dollars for something that wasn't necessary.

I have given up on West Gate Jeep! This is my second Jeep I bought from West Gate, and the service is non-existant. Eight Weeks ago, I called to schedule to get a windshield replaced. I was told someone would call me back. I waited 4 weeks, no response. I called back and again had to leave a message. No response. This morning, I had an issue where my Jeep was overheating. BTW Wrangler Sahara 4xe 2021. After being on hold for 11 minutes, listening to someone tell me how important I am to them, I finally got to a human at 7:42 am. He told me someone would call me back. Crickets. I called back at 2:51, was on hold for 5 minutes then someone picked up the phone then hung it up. I called Leith Jeep and they answered with in 30 seconds, and I have an appointment at 9:00am tomorrow. Bob Harris

I strongly advise against utilizing this establishment for vehicle servicing. The standard of customer service provided is subpar, representing the poorest experience I have encountered at an automotive dealership. Avoid Ehsan "aka" Ali; the individual in question consistently demonstrates unprofessional conduct, rudeness, and a dismissive attitude toward customers. Upon requesting to speak with a manager, the individual casually asserts his willingness to accommodate such a request, prompting speculation regarding a potential familial relationship with the manager. This lack of regard for customer service and experience led me to promptly transfer my business to an alternative dealership that excels in providing superior service, professionalism, effective communication, and genuine care for customer satisfaction. Eshan's "aka" Ali decision not to charge me for the diagnostic, a gesture that appeared to be the minimum expectation given the substandard service. However, prior to this, he had informed my fiance that I would be subject to a fee for the diagnosis and would also be required to pay for any information pertaining to the findings. Upon my attempt to remit the fee, he abruptly rescinded the charge and expressed indifference to my desire to escalate the matter to a manager. My vehicle was retained for four days without undergoing any service, receiving updates, or undergoing the necessary clearing by the warranty group for a duration of 4 days. Consequently, the service should rightly have been rendered pro bono. Again, I strongly caution against visiting this establishment, as it is likely to result in a waste of time. It appears that positive reviews predominantly pertain to their sales division.

I had an 11 am appt for an oil change. At 12:36 I walked to the front to see my car had not been moved. Jamiah (service advisor) was very nice trying to explain how they were down workers...why schedule my appt? This will take well over 2 hours for an oil change. Not acceptable.

As the saying goes "I'm not mad, I am just extremely disappointed." Background: purchased 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee new and currently has 31k miles on it - 2 months ago had service done where we purchased it at Cary Autopark - this week check engine light came on at the same time it needed an inspection. Since Westgate is about 15 miles closer to our location than Autopark, and down the road from work, I thought out of convenience I would take it there to have the CEL looked at and an inspection done at the same time (since the CEL would need to be addressed for the inspection). Schedule the earliest appointment a week out and go to drop the vehicle. Service associate pulls up my information and states that he will need to talk to the technician to see if they can even bring in the vehicle. Slightly confused at this point, he returns and states that the technician can not bring in the vehicle because the previous work was done elsewhere and I have to take it back to that shop. I asked why they can't bring it in to simply hook up the OBD, check the code, and see if its something unrelated to the work at Autopark that they can address at Westgate. Response: we are unable to diagnose any issues since it has been serviced elsewhere. Again I asked the stupid question, so you can't even pull the code and 1) see if it's a faulty code and clear, 2) see if it's something as simple as a blown fuse or sensor which would be unrelated to any prior service and fix, or 3) just see what code is being triggered? Response, no my technician says we cannot bring the vehicle in and you must take it back to the dealer you purchased it from. The conversation continued as I attempted to understand where the disconnect in communication was and why I wasn't told this a week before when I scheduled the appointment. Had the service associate simply explained the situation and rationale (even if it wasn't rational) or not been short and without respect in his responses - the entire interaction would have gone a different direction. I am extremely disappointed in the experience, lack of courtesy, and professionalism displayed at the Westgate Service department. I would not recommend bringing your vehicle to be serviced here. I will give 5 stars to the gentleman working the drop off area who apologized to me for the interaction as I got back into the car.

Awful experience here. After test driving a car with the salesman, and communicating that we were ready to commit on a car just waiting for instructions on method of deposit, the communication was so poor between the sales person and the manager, that they allowed someone else to test drive and buy the car the next day. No communication back whatsoever. Will never be back here.

I had purchased a 2020 grand cherokee and wanted to get the 4 wheel drive differential, trans filter pan replacement and transfer case oil changed. I asked for an estimate, all they could provide was a copy of a copy of a copy of standard services. So not to be an butt, I said I was going to lunch, here is my vin# and I will be back for the professional estimate for the service I wanted after lunch. Came back 2 hours later and was given the same copy of a generic copy with hours scribbled on the end. Not 1 detail on the type ( synth, weight, part #) , brand (Mopar or other, amount of fluid that each service will require. This is something I would expect at the corner service station. Jiffy lube is more forth comming. I was looking for a professional itemized list from a dealer service location for what was involved with the service. I had to walk away I was so taken a-back. Happy I asked for an estimate first. Had to take a pass and go another way.

This department is the worst service department I have ever come across. They never answer the phones, they don’t communicate and they are unreliable!! They have no idea how to diagnose an issue and they have damaged the steering linkage on my jeep! If I could give them negative stars there wouldn’t be enough stars! Horrendous is an understatement! Never again!

Had an oil change and tire rotation here on our 2019 Pacifica. The guy that helped me was very friendly. However I’m just not sure why they wanted $453.88 for a new headlight bulb-not the labor, just bulb. The bulb cost about $60 on Amazon.

I came in to get a tire balance and rotation under the Jeep Wave Program. The website says that the express lane hours are 7:30-6:00, no appointment needed. I got there at 5:18pm. I was told that the tech leave at 5:00pm and to come back tomorrow in the morning or before 3:00pm. I replied that I thought the techs are there until 5, and she said they like to get done early. I guess “express” describes their work hours. Edit: I went in the next day at 8:18am. I was told it would only be 45 minutes. It ended up taking over 2.5 hours for a simple balance.

When you give a review and share your bad experience, they respond to the review asking to get in touch with them so that they can look into the issue. When you try to contact no one really cares , they don't even answer the phone. Please refrain from doing any business in this dealership.

Ernest Green the sales person was very open and provided me detailed information on any questions that I had about the car. He was always open, honest and friendly and did everything he said he would. His ability to explain all my options and all the details about the car along with a great personality are what influenced my purchase at this dealership rather than somewhere else in the end.
