UPDATE: My battery is still working great! Thanks Gio! Giovanni was really top-notch in replacing my car battery. I was so glad to have a mobile option for this, as I was so busy (as we all are). I did have a twinge of guilt for not torturing myself by “going to the dealer,” etc. and waiting days for simple service. But Gio was truly a gem and knew what he was doing!

Unfortunately, I had a bad experience with Gio and his brother. When we agreed that he would arrive around 9 or 10 a.m., he consistently showed up much later, around 12 or 1 p.m. This continued over the course of three days while they worked on my car. The job involved changing the timing belt, spark plugs, and some smaller tasks like adjusting the drum brakes. Despite being relatively straightforward, the work took much longer than expected, stretching from noon until midnight each day. To make matters worse, the timing belt was installed incorrectly. Gio’s brother, who appeared more professional, handled that part of the job but didn’t torque the belt properly, causing noise and requiring the entire job to be redone. After a few weeks, I started experiencing issues with the work they did—or something related to it—and I tried to reach out to Gio for help. I called him two or three times, sent multiple messages, but received no response. This lack of communication and being ignored was what truly made me upset. I needed assistance, and instead of getting any support, I felt completely disregarded. We also asked for a receipt for the work, which cost around $1,300. Despite giving them a generous tip, they disappeared when we requested the receipt, which we really needed. This unprofessional behavior and lack of follow-up made an already frustrating experience worse. On a positive note, Gio’s brother did help fix the issue with the windshield water spraying system by switching the pump from the front windshield to the back, solving the problem for free. He also removed the seats from my car without charging me, which I appreciated. Overall, they seem like good people, but for some reason, I had a really bad experience with them. I hope they improve their communication and professionalism in the future, but based on what happened, I can’t recommend their services.

On a Saturday night, on my way home my car was giving me scary dashboard warning lights: brakes, ABS, tire pressure, all together! Also 4 days later I was leaving for a short road trip and I needed my car in good shape... On Sunday morning, after reading some great reviews, I decided to call Giovanni and see if he could come and check my car right away. A little after he was giving my car a thorough inspection. Thanks to his portable high tech computer he was able to diagnose the problem (my battery was somewhat low and was triggering my car computer to give those warning lights). He ordered a new battery on the spot, replaced it and my car was back to normal! He also helped me with installing my wipers and reprogramming my car's power windows. The service was great and professional and the cost very honest compared to what other mechanics ask for. And he comes to you!! I will definitely call Giovanni again for my future car needs, and I highly recommend Westside Mobile Mechanics.

Quickly identifying the issue, he confirmed the need for an alternator replacement and scheduled the repair for the following morning. My car started vibrating while I was driving to work. I was able to get service done on the same day at the parking lot of my workplace. Gio was responsive and the price was very reasonable. I had my spark plugs and an ignition coil replaced.

I have been having battery problems for a few weeks now. And just my luck, my car battery died and I was stranded. I called Westside Mobile Mechanics and Gio arrived promptly! He helped me jump the car battery and even ran a complementary diagnostics. He told me my Alternator and starter are still good which im glad to hear. But the battery was in need of a replacement. He suggested I get a new battery and the very next day I purchased it and he came to install it. Thank you Gio for your flexibility and amazing service!
