Westside Transmission clearly takes pride in their thorough inspections and high-quality repair. They stand 100% by their repair warranties, and they tackle complex jobs such as fixing coolant system leaks in my 2007 VW Jetta. No wonder they have so many repeat clients, myself included.

The workers here are not professional, all gone to vacation 12/16, which are still ~1 week from Christmas. Plus the attitude is bad. Not recommended.

I came today recommended by other mechanichs regarding a power train issue in my car. They were fast, effective, transparents and very helpful; a place you can trust. I have just spent 6 weeks in LA, relocated from EU and here I felt all was fair and well explained to me. So professionals and safe, I would recommend them to everyone.

The best transmission and clutch repair in LA! I came from Santa Monica to have the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder fixed on my 2010 Mazda 3, and they did a great job. My car drives like new. Thank you for your help!

This shop is awesome. I have a ~20 year old WRX and the last place I took it to pretty much messed up everything. Steven and his crew undid/redid all that, did a great transmission rebuild, new clutch, coils to fix the perpetually engaging check engine light. But amazingly, they also were the only mechanic in the past 7 years who figured out (and fixed) a super-irritating whine, by recognizing it wasn't just the power steering pump (which kept getting replaced for naught) but the reservoir...no one else could figure that out). Additionally, the shop runs seamlessly, all is transparent, and if they say it's going to take a week (for example, to rebuild an old transmission), it will in all likelihood be ready in a week. For lesser repairs, the turnaround is very rapid. Westside gets my highly enthusiastic recommendation!!

The very best service in town. I've never had trouble taking my car in here same-day, and every time I've left with it fixed same-day. They don't try to sell you something you don't need (unlike other places!) and I really appreciate that and their dedication to client satisfaction. Can't recommend them enough for quick diagnostics and fast repair!

I'm so glad I found Westside Transmission for a second opinion. I had a small shake in my engine and took my car to the dealership. After diagnosing my car, the dealership told me I needed a new transmission for $7,500 plus labor. For a second opinion, I went to Westside Transmission. After diagnosing my car, they told me the transmission was fine and that I had an engine problem. They just changed the mass air flow sensor, and now my car is running like a clock. Changing the part is not important; diagnosing the right problem requires experience and skill. Thank you so much, Westside Transmission.

Worst customer service, I went asking for help from AAA services for battery assistance & the gentleman says that it's not there I then ask him for assistance and finding it he says I dont know I then go back outside and clearly see the sign that says AAA services. AAA sent me there personally for being a member. Terrible service.

I didn't need a car living in Boston, so this is my first time owning a car in several years since moving to the LA area. I want to be sure I'm taking proper care of my GTI considering neglect on a car like that can get costly. Westside T&A have been attentive and delivered quality service in my opinion. I can go to some budget chain where I can be in and out of there in an hour for an oil change, but I'm comfortable leaving my car for the day knowing they're not rushing by taking the time to do the job thoroughly and address all my concerns. I included the maintenance package when purchasing my car, which of course covers the cheapest available generic parts, but the team here understands my desire to take care of my car through quality maintenance, so they work with me by getting the cost of the cheap parts covered and only charging me the difference in cost for the premium ones, which I really appreciate. They've earned my trust over the past few appointments which has earned them my loyalty by using them for my maintenance and repair needs.

Steven is top-of-the-line accommodating. His communication is stellar, never leaving any questions I have unanswered. The best thing is they never upsell me like most auto repair shops. I drive in knowing the vehicle is in safe hands with highly skilled professionals and I pick it up with no surprises.
