My first experience with WAM was quite a few years ago, when I had them machine and bore a 1986.5 Nissan D21 I4. I've wanted to return with another project all these years, but time or money has prevented it. Well, I can finally say I have another big one in process! And I'm just as stoked to have them do the work as I am to be doing everything else. Knowledgeable doesn't cover it. Easy going doesn't cover it. The right place to go for real machine work, might cover it. I highly recommend giving them a call even if it is just to set up a consultation on an upcoming project. You will not regret the honest, fair prices, and great work. Thanks WAM for another great experience!

Had what I needed in stock, very knowledgeable and professional. Was looking for brad penn 15w40 oil (High Zinc additive for flat tappet camshafts). Chuck told me for my application sbc 355, Penn Grade engine oil is the same thing and I'd be fine using 10w40. (Year Round)

I've been going to Chuck for over 20 years. Everything I bring home is still running with no problems. I will keep going to Chuck no matter how long the wait time is. I know the machine will run right.

Chuck is a genius when it comes to any engine machine work. He built a 496 BBC and it is a beast. I read quite a few reviews about Chuck taking a while to complete work. Did anyone care to think that’s because the best engine builders are always busy? If you want it done right, Willard is your guy!!

Chuck was very thorough and explained his process as he progressed. He took a mouse urine froze-up FE 352 and punched it out to a 390 for my 64' Ford Galaxie 500 XL. He had it done in 8 days and on the dyno.

The best machine shop in town.

The owner here knows what he’s doing but he’s very lazy and didn’t make me feel lazy. Took weeks for him to just hot tank my block. After the middle of the 2 month I just decided to take it to Rojam Machine, built my block in 3 weeks, Willard said it was going to take months.

They admitted putting in the wrong oil o-ring. 6k for 55,000 miles a little rich. Don’t use them.

Chuck knows more about 4.6L Ford motors than anyone we've run into in this area. He rebuilt our 32 valve 4.6L motor that we use in our road racing Cobra. It runs like a top. He's busy so it won't be a quick turnaround but if you want it done right, give Chuck a call.

I didn't know who to take my engine blocks to. Through google searches and a handful of phone calls, I decided to go with WAM. (blew head gasket '01 malibu) He gave me the price up front, over the phone. Clean, resurface, pressure test = $232 ($116 per). No hassle. No worry. I had questions on how to clean and what else could have gone wrong and what I should do to clean what I cannot bring to him. Immediate answers that were correct. I ended up losing a head dowel at home (holds blocks in place) and he gave me one for free; I didn't have to search high and low for a GM metal piece that weighs less than a nickel. When he was finished he turned my dirty filthy blocks into near mirror quality. Highly recommend taking your engine to Chuck @ WAM. You will not be disappointed. Shop wanted $2275 for the whole job. Current out of pocket for tools, new spark plugs, and his work = a little over $400. Just need to reassemble the 3.1L 6 cylinder. -Mark Highly recommended.
