They have helped me with all my cars, and every time, the service has been fast, affordable, and top-notch. They sold me the run-flat tires on my 2023 BMW X3 for a great price, got me a great deal on new and used tires for my 2008 Mercedes 320, and even replaced the starter on my Ford Escape—all done quickly and professionally. A small business hidden gem in LA ran by two genuine and hard-working women. You’d be lucky to end up at this mechanic shop and I’m so happy this is where I came. Their inspection fee is $60 to find out what’s wrong with your car and they’re so quick, but efficient. I’ve had no issues since getting my car but I trust they would help even if I had. My car remained safe overnight inside their garage which I appreciated. Bonus points - they have two shop cats so I had cute little paw prints all over my car when I picked it up.

I recently brought my car here for service. I was on my way to work on the weekend when my car started to violently shake. It felt as if my wheel fell off. I started to make calls to Machanic shops and they were either close for the day or it would take up to three days to get my car back to me. A friend referred me to a shop locally where he lives Witmer Auto. I reached out to them and they ensured they would return my car to me the same day or at the most the next day. I went over there and was greeted by Gina and Janet. I appreciate that they were able to return my car back to me the same day considering my service was no minor task. Their work was honest, fair and transparent. They followed up with me every step of the way through out the day. They were professional and polite. As I was waiting, I notice how the local community kept popping in to say good morning to them. You can tell they are invested in there community. I look forward to bringing my car here for future service.

Experiencia Frustrante y Falta de Ética Llevé mi auto a este taller confiando en que harían un buen trabajo, pero mi experiencia fue muy decepcionante. Me cobraron $400 por arreglar un daño que no era necesario, y además, recibí un ticket de estacionamiento por estar en una zona roja mientras el auto estaba en su custodia. Lo peor es que ocultaron el ticket para que no lo viera y ahora no responden ni se hacen responsables por esto. Su falta de ética y profesionalismo es inaceptable. No solo me cobraron por un trabajo innecesario, sino que también demostraron que no les importa el cliente ni asumir sus errores. No recomiendo este lugar a nadie. ¡Tengan cuidado!❌❌ Calificación: ⭐ (1 estrella)

The team at Witmer really helped me out. While traveling through LA over the weekend, my brakes gave out and they quickly identified the problem, made the repairs and got me back out on the road first thing on Monday morning. Their service was as good as the quality of the work, excellent.

I’ve only had good experiences at Witmer Auto Service. Customer service is really good they’re very honest and helpful. I’ve taken about 5 vehicles to them and they’ve all come back good. I also liked the fact that when they replaced two sensors they gave me the old ones to show me they actually switched them out with new ones

I had a loose alternator belt that was squeaking and apparently whoever replaced it before put the wrong size on. Took my truck in to this place and told them and they double check that was the problem and even looked at the other belts and the alternator to make sure everything else was all good. Took about an hour for the belt to get delivered and once it was in they replaced it right away and I was out of there. It was honest, well priced, fast, and easy and they people there are very helpful, even giving me some suggestions since I’m new to town.

Been coming here for years and Gina & Janet continue to do fantastic work at their shop. I brought my car last week because I assumed it overheated because the temperature gauge was very high but turned out it was a radiator leak and some parts needed replacing. I was amazed how quickly Gina was able to replace/ fix everything because I was able to get my car back within two days of dropping it off. I also appreciate how they take Zelle if you don’t have cash, which is more convenient for me since I don’t carry cash on me normally. I will continue to keep bringing my car and future cars here because they are very reliable, honest and provide the best and quickest service for a fair price. Thank you guys again, really helped me out of a bind 🙏🏽

Great place I’ve got a battery replacement and tired pressure changed no issue I’m a women and I was able to speak with the ladies there and they were able to fully understand me while going through what was wrong with my car they also helped me fix a fuss on my auxiliary power outlet

I had a great experience coming to this tire shop. I’m not knowledgeable in cars and trying to pretend that I did wasn’t necessary here. Witmer Auto Service was able to explain the situation clearly and provide different options that were suitable to my needs and financial means. I have a 1999 Ford Escort, and it’s my little beater. My battery and check engine light turned on. I tried fixing and solving the issue on my own, but luckily I came across this place. They were able to scan it and find out that I was having issues with my alternator. They were able to fix my alternator and they didn’t take that long to do it. They test drove my car afterwards, explained how and why the issue happened, and showed how you can manage and maintain the vehicle afterwards. I can’t lie, I was worried a little bit. With mixed reviews out there, you don’t know what you’re gonna get. However, after they finished their work, I started my road trip back home. I’m from Humboldt County, so that’s a 11-12 hour drive from LA. I’m super happy that my car had no issues on the way back. I made a stop in the Bay Area, just in case of anything, and it was still running good. Thank you Witmer Auto Service. I really appreciate the work you’ve done and helping me get back home.

I'll give everyone a good advice, just STAY AWAY from this place unless you have time to take these people to court. I was charged almost $600 and my vehicle damaged here after 2 visits! My Volkswagen was damaged by whoever works at this place and owns it. Including a check engine light being turned on for repairs that were already completed years ago and I just passed smog 20 miles before coming to Witmer Auto. Gina the lady that helped me get the part's for my car told me they are not responsible and that they have camera's throughout. And that my car is too old once I contacted her shortly after leaving from there. Yesterday I brought my vehicle over at 1pm and at 6pm after waiting the entire day to install a license plate frame. I was told to leave my car overnight. Previously I left a deposit and had to wait extensive amount of unnecessary time for something that obviously this place is not capable of fixing. When I returned today my vehicle had work done on it that I did not approve like replacement of the working trunk lock with one from another car that doesn't work or open the trunk. And the lock that was in my vehicle just sat aside damaged beyond repairs. The entire lock cylinder came out when I put the key in it. Also my trunk is not closing properly either anymore. And Gina didn't even have the decency, respect enough integrity to provide a receipt for work after I paid her yesterday.

They ran a diagnostic for $60 on my car and said the battery is in perfect health, and then the battery died literally while I was in their store!!!!! They told me on the phone installation is free if you buy the battery from us, but when I told them they should fold the fee they charged for their obviously wrong diagnosis, they said they give me a free installation instead. I asked them to replace the battery and apply the $60 misdiagnosis charge towards the price of the battery and they insisted to get paid for the battery and their incorrect diagnostic!!! I would never do business with them

I was having issues with my AC out all the mechanic shop I went to, they all weren’t able to fix the issues, doing Mickey Mouse work—they will tell me one thing and then another. I came to this shop out of desperation because its staring to get hot in LA! Coming here was a blessing, I was very intimidated having to deal with another man, but here, I was assist by Gina. Her father owns the shop, and shes like his assistant, she has the best interest in the community and her customer service was spectacular. She had my AC blowing cold air in 1 day. I would highly recommend everyone to come here. She’s genuinely there to help anyone, she won my service. I’m always coming to Gina for anything moving forward .

This evening I was at the gas station when I noticed, I had a flat tire. Witmer’s was right across the street and I rushed over because they were about to close. It turns out I hit a nail and there was a huge hole in my tire. I’m so relieved and happy that Gina and her coworkers were able to help me so last minute and for such a great price. I would like to emphasize that they accommodated me in my panicked state and really worked so quickly and efficiently for Such a great price. These were some of the most lovely people I’ve interacted with in LA. Out of every auto body shop I could’ve landed on. I’m glad they were right there and so ready to help. I was in crisis, and they rushed to help me. And for that, I am very grateful. 10 out of 10!!! you should definitely be going to Whitmer’s auto service for every car service you might need!!! Once again thank you Gina and your whole team you guys are amazing and heaven sent!!

I came here to do oil change, very fair price and I waited for a short time, even if there was a lot of work, Jenet was very enthusiastic, answered my silly questions, and if you need to replace the parts they can help order these parts and then you can come to change, thank Jenet and Gina very much for their service, I live nearby, plan to come often in the future (plus there are two cute cats here, you can pet the cat after asking the owner when waiting)
