Some would say that I am a slow learner, because I had two (2) bad experiences with Wolfson Automotive. Most recently, with my 1989 Corvette, which I purchased new in 1989. Jeremy decided that General Motors did not know how to wire their vehicles, as he went against both GM and their Field Service Manual, to demand that a ECM by-pass be installed to ensure that the Main Fan always came on immediately when my AC was turned on. GM states that the Main Fan must not come on until one of two conditions are met, coolant temperature greater than 226 F, or AC head pressure greater than 233 psi. Jeremy refused to warranty my AC repair unless I approved his by-pass. He charged me excessive hours of trouble-shooting what he believed to be a problem, when GM states that it was not a problem. His fix FAILED, as the Main Fan would shut off whenever the AC was turned on! My attempts to get my vehicle back to him put me out 19 days before he would even check out my problem. So, being a Certified Electronics Technician myself, I removed his by-pass and rewired my ECM to GM specs, now everything works as it has for years, and as designed. Jeremy refuses to give me a refund of the excessive hours paid to him, based on his personal convictions, not GM facts. Being a Certified Mechanic does not mean that you are the sole expert on every year, make, and model vehicle! My 1st experience with Wolfson Automotive left my dashboard loose and not clipped in or screwed down properly. I will not be using Wolfson Automotive for any vehicle repairs in the future. Very Disappointed! I was scheduled for July 11, 2024 for Wolfson to check out my problems, but Jeremy Wolfson cancelled the appointment telling me that he will no longer work on my vehicle! Now, he tries to say call me? What a joke. That response is just for show! He could call me if he is real. He is the one who cancelled my appointment!

Jeremy did a great job fixing my truck. Back on the road now and it runs great!

Called him about a Corolla that wouldn’t start a few months after a new battery and he helped me over the phone to get it started!! Still wanted to have the battery terminals swapped out and he was able to squeeze me in next day. Very pleasant to speak to, reasonable pricing, and quick!! Highly recommend.

I have used Wolfson Automotive many times, and I am always impressed by Jeremy's honesty, professionalism, and kindness. I won't take my car anywhere else!

Jeremy has worked on my car numerous times, and I’ve always been highly satisfied with his work. He is always very thorough with his diagnosis, and explains in detail what needs to be done and never tries to add anything extra. He gets the work done fast but always does a great job and has a great work ethic with his business. He always works with me on what needs to be done and is always reliable with a job and repairs. I’ve never had any problems or had to take my car back, he has always gotten the repair done right the first time. He has good pricing for his work and how great of a job he does, I highly recommend him for any of your car needs and repairs!

Jeremy is great! Not only is he a superb mechanic whose work I trust completely and whose prices are very reasonable, he also clearly cares about his customers in a truly genuine way I've rarely seen elsewhere. I mentioned offhand to him that I was in the market for a "new" used car, and he actually went out of his way to give me thoughtful, thorough advice and help me think through some of my options (for no extra charge), which was really nice of him! I ended up buying one of the cars he suggested (a Subaru Outback) and it's served me very well. Also, when I brought the same car into his shop for a 60k mile maintenance tune-up, he said that he saw a tiny leak from one spot on the undercarriage -- something that he definitely didn't think was a big issue yet, but just something for me to keep an eye on. I was impressed by both his attention to detail and his honesty; I have no doubt that many mechanics either wouldn't have noticed the leak in the first place, or would have pressured me to let them fix it on the spot so they could charge me extra, regardless of how "necessary" it might have been at that time. I'm so glad that's not how Jeremy runs his business! (Also, as a side note, it was a pleasant surprise to notice about a 10% improvement in gas mileage after the tune-up!) Bottom line, I really appreciate both Jeremy's expertise and how much he puts his customers first. 100% recommended!

GREAT repair shop......with a wonderful and knowledgeable owner. I have done basic stuff to my car thru Jeremy, but couple months ago I had a real complicated electronic issue...and Jeremy diagnosed it and fixed it like a pro....to be honest, I didn't think anyone but a dealer could do it....but easy peezy for him! Great job and great prices, every time! I highly recommend.

Hate dealing with car repairs?? Yep, me too. We have a Mercedes sedan and a Honda minivan and then a handful of other cars that belong to our kids and an old Jeep (or two) that my husband swears we will use someday. I will NEVER take our vehicles anywhere else. My husband just happened upon Wolfson Automotive several years ago when we were tired of dealing with dealerships. We now won't go anywhere else. If you want an honest and trustworthy mechanic - don't think twice. We used to live just 15 minutes away and several months ago we moved closer to an hour away.....we will still ONLY use Wolfson Automotive.

Jeremy is extremely knowledge and also specializes in German manufactured vehicles. He has all the Volvo specific tools needed for diagnostics and repairs and is most definitely trust worthy and honest. He explained my issues in a way that made sense and was very fast with his replies. I would absolutely recommend Jeremy to anyone experiencing issues with both foreign and domestic vehicles, who want honest insight and trustworthy service. Thank you Jeremy for getting my Volvo back on the road!

I have been using Jeremy at Wolfson Automotive for many years through several cars. Whether a large labor intensive job or a small one he has always done top notch work and used high quality parts (never had to use his warranty). He is an amazing diagnostician, figuring out problems that befuddled other mechanics. He is courteous and professional and as a woman I appreciate that he never talks down to me (as any woman knows, male mechanics often treat female customers with less deference than male ones) My husband and I have taken both foreign and domestic cars to him and he knows them all. I just can't recommend Wolfson Automotive enough- a true gem!

I have used Jeremy multiple times over the past few years with several different cars and would give him highest marks for quality, honesty, and a responsible approach to his customers/work. I've been to many mechanics over the years and have had poor experiences with too many of them. Jeremy will not try to sell you unnecessary repairs and will do a first class job on whatever you bring him. He stands behind all his work. One of Jeremy's best assets is his ability to diagnose problems. Reminds me of the Car Talk brothers -- your car is making some peculiar noise on right hand turns only in cold weather and he can usually figure out what it is. Most mechanics seem clueless in that regard unless something "shows up on the computer". Jeremy has done moderately large jobs for me including brake rebuilds, radiator, water pumps, etc. He has experience with all sorts of cars, but has a particular expertise in European brands (Audi, BMW, Volvo, Saab, etc.) His prices are mid-range (not low-ball) but his work is top range. I would recommend him without reservation.

Jeremy knows his stuff. My Vette is lowered and I'm really picky about who works on it. Jeremy is the guy from now on! He quickly diagnosed the problem I was having and provided a professional and reasonable quote for the repair. Upon completion, my bill was actually slightly lower than the original quote because he was able to save some time. Hard to find shops like that these days!! Highly recommended.

I've been wrenching for the better part of a decade and feel fairly competent to comment meaningfully on automotive professionals and their customer approach. Jeremy at Wolfson did bar none excellent work on my later model Volvo and with utmost care and diligence. He is not only a skilled masterful mechanic, but he is a good guy. A mechanic's mechanic. I needed a second opinion on my Volvo after what should have been a relatively benign repair, started mounting into a significant expense at Swedish Specialty Shop. Jeremy offered to diagnose the issue and give a second opinion at no charge--exceptional service. I had my vehicle towed to his shop. He discovered botched mechanical work, and he quickly rectified the issues, carefully retracing the steps and uncovering the mistakes of the prior mechanic. The car has been running great for a week now, and Jeremy's fees were almost half the other quotes I received. I spent about an hour in Jeremy's shop discussing the history on the vehicle. He took time to walk me through the various systems and his observations, getting me directly involved in the decision making of the diagnosis and repair. I felt extremely confident in Jeremy's ability and could very quickly determine that he was very knowledgeable about these cars. I will only bring my Volvo to Jeremy in the future. He spared me a huge headache and a major expense. Jeremy has rightfully earned my business and this 5 star review.

My 1998 Lexus ES300 was due for a new timing belt and transmission fluid service so I jumped on Craigslist to locate a local (non-franchised) ASE Certified Master Technician. As a home-based business owner I prefer to support other home based businesses, so I specifically search out those individuals who prefer to work for themselves. I shot Jeremy an email to get an idea of pricing for the timing belt and associated parts, including water pump, tensioner & drive belts, and the trans fluid service. Jeremy promptly replied with a competitive quote and we scheduled the appointment to get the work done. I dropped my car off in the morning and it was done that afternoon. I do most regular vehicle maintenance myself, but prefer to leave the more complex work to a professional. I've had my car worked on by quite a few mechanics over the years, but none as conscience as Jeremy. He has a fully equipped shop on premises and he keeps it clean and organized, which tells you what kind of Technician he is. I didn't need to clean greasy hand prints off my door handles or steering wheel (like I do with most shops) and the car performed great after the work was completed. It's hard to find a quality independent and Master Certified Automotive Technician, but when you do, it's worth the search. Their training goes beyond the standard skill-sets and it's obvious to me Jeremy valued that training. I wont hesitate to call Jeremy when I need any future vehicle work performed, and I'm sure you will as well once you utilize his services.
