I have a vintage convertible and I'm so happy I have found WAW for any service it requires. Jason really knows his stuff. Moreover, he is patient in answering all my questions and explaining things very clearly. Last time I had it in, because it hadn't started a couple times, he couldn't get it to repeat the issue. But he showed me where the starter mechanism was and how to tap it in case it was sticking. He didn't charge me anything. I will be taking my car to him every time it needs work.

As a female and someone who doesn’t know a ton about cars, I’m always a bit nervous to take my car somewhere and get price gouged or taken advantage of. Jason was so kind and forthcoming with everything that needed to be done. He made sure I understood what was happening and how much it would cost AND asked if I wanted to proceed with the repairs after hearing the price. Upon researching the repair he did, I honestly think he under charged me and he didn’t charge for a bulb replacement at all. He got me in quickly and finished within hours. He is so kind, reasonable, and comforting. I will be going back for years to come.

I called to get a second opinion about my car and Jason was so upfront and honest with me about the issue. Yoy rarely find mechanics that will ne truthful with you so it was very pleasant. I ended up not bring able to fix the problem but I will be bringing my car to him from now on!

Had a starter die on me in the area. In an emergency, Won was able to get me back up running very quickly with a reasonable price. Oil change as well. Nice guy who is very direct and helpful.

Jason was so kind to me as I stumbled through explaining what was wrong with my car. He asked follow up questions, double checked everything and the price was beyond reasonable!! They have definitely become my go to mechanic, I can't recommend them highly enough.

My experience of getting my maintenance light checked and getting an oil change here were seamless. Eddie was friendly, fast and let me know everything he was doing before he did it. I will definitely come back. Prices are already reasonable and return customers get a discount.

I brought my Honda in for a couple of issues this week. Jason was able to squeeze me in quickly and charged me such a fair price that I feel like I didn't even pay him what I should have for his time. Not only is he super honest and fair, but he's just such a nice guy. I have never felt this way before at any other mechanic and will never bring my car anywhere else.

My daughter was in the middle of driving a very long way home across many states and her car broke down in Chicago. She took the car to this shop and they had her back on the road the next day. I cannot thank them enough. If you need any car repairs done you should definitely give them a shot.

We had originally taken our Audi to Fletcher Jones who we are certain didnt service our car properly as it was still having issues. Luckily we were referred to Wons Auto and have never had a better mechanic. Jason is honest and we trust his work. There is truly a difference between a shop that wants to overcharge you and have you purchase anything they can to an honest mechanic who is looking out for his clients. Highly recommend Wons Auto.

I’ve been going to Jason since 2006 then with a bmw and now with a vw. Highly recommend taking your German car here. Honest and gets the job done quick and for what I think is extremely competitively priced.

Wons auto weeks is the best! First of all they stand behind their work. I own a Mini Cooper and it’s hard to find a mechanic that knows how to work on these cars. I had been burned by mechanics in the past that said they could work on a Mini only to have the work done wrong. So I was going to the dealer for the longest time until I found this place! Not only has Jason (think that’s his name) fixed my car perfectly but, he’s saved me tons of money now that I no longer have to go to the dealer.

My car had an overheating problem for years even after other mechanics replaced the radiator multiple times. I pulled into Won's one day desperately when my car was overheating smoke coming from the hood. Jason diagnosed the issue and the quote for parts and labor was reasonable so I went ahead. It seems to have finally fixed the overheating issue for good. Since then I've been back to Jason for other small fixes and always get good service and affordable rates. Glad to have a trusty mechanic right in my neighborhood.

Stopped by this joint on my route home several weeks back. I was concerned about needing a new rim and tire. Upon asking for assistance with a bent rim, they the gentleman behind counter informed me kindly that they did not really handle such repairs BUT, there is a place to go to that would not sell me a new rim/tire but pound my existing rim back into shape and fix me up to get back into position. I've been going to Jason for a couple of years now. After bouncing from place to place, I feel I always get the most honest assessment of what I need and don't need here - and at the best prices. (e.g., synthetic oil changes are consistently $30 less than elsewhere. Also, I ask him to check the brakes. "you should be good for another 6 months", etc.) At other places, I feel like I am always upsold. Jason understands that you have to maintain your car but doing so should not break you financially.

I've been using Won's for several years now, and the new location (on Western) is so big and much brighter than the old. But the service remains exactly the same and that is wonderful. Finding a trustworthy mechanic is like finding the Holy Grail, and Won's is it for me. Jason makes sure you know exactly what is going on with your car and all the repair prices are all reasonable. When is the last time you heard that about a mechanic? I will always use Won's Auto Werks (and I don't even drive an import).
