TL;DR: They almost killed me twice after working on my brakes multiple times.(brake pedal went to the floor trying to stop going down a steep hill).i should have only had to bring my car in 3 times but it turned into 10 times and they still didn't fix the problems. They didn't reimburse me for my rental cars that i was forced to get because EVERY single time I brought the car in they messed something up. Sometimes the brakes. They even ruined 9 out of my 20 lug nuts becuase they drove them on to the stud with an impact gun and broke the tops of the lug nuts off. I spent about $1500 in rental cars over a month and a half becuase of them and they didn't reimburse me for even half of the cars. And my car STILL isn't finished becuase I've had to spend more than half of my monthly income on Woods mistakes. My friends family had been going to them for over 30 years but they, along with all of my friends and family will never go to them ever again. Don't make the same mistake i did. Go to CarTunes on Ronson Road. They're fantastic mechanics. LONG STORY- can't post full story, too long. But the worst stuff is there. 1.Brought my car in for an inspection -Forgot to put the airdam back on 4. Picked up the car the next day, drove it for a few miles, seemed to be better. Then i was driving down a steep hill and when i went to stop, my foot went to the floor. Thank god I was able to stop. Pulled over, got a tow, and got a rental car.Had to rent a car over the weekend for 4 days($310). 5. They "fixed" it again on monday or tuesday. I noticed that there was grease/solvant on the shifter, steering wheel and the handbrake. Whatever was on the mechanics hand ruined the leather on the shifter. It worked for a week or 2 and the clunking came back. 5. I deciced to give them one more chance and had them replace my axles and diagnose the clunking again. They replaced the rear caliper again and replaced the axles. I noticed that when i got my car back there was clunking when i turned left and right. I then drove it out of the lot and immediately heard clunking noises everywhere on every little bump. When i hit the brakes my foot went to the floor again. I decided to drive it a few thousand feet and pulled into a parking lot to check the rear brakes and i noticed that 9 out of 20 of the lug nuts had the tops popped out. Which means they put the lug nuts back on with an impact gun without the tire on and drove them in too far. I obviously got mad and limped it back to the shop and got another rental. 6. They then replaced both rear calipers with oem parts, replaced the studs and lug nuts and the clunking noise was still there after i told them to diagnose it. They said it was from a loose strut tower bolt but the clunking remained. 7. I then drove it home and there was now a violent grinding noise and the clunking was worse. I of course had to get another rental car becuase i was worried that my car would catch on fire from friction. I got my car back on wednesday night and had to get a rental car from the 1st to the 2nd and then the 2nd to the 7th and then another one from the 9th through the 13th. I had to wait until friday to tow my car to the other shop. The other shop diagnosed the problem as the rack and pinion, both ball joints, both lower control arms and both front wheel bearings. 8.I sent them the bill for my rental cars when they were working on my car. They only paid about half of what i spent on my rental cars($1,500). Woods paid me less than $600 for the rental cars and the steering wheel cover that they got grease on again. I sent them the bill for other rental car that i used while the other shop was working on my car, along with the other bill for the shop that actually performed the work properly. The partial bill i sent was about $1350 and the rental car was about $315. They refused to pay it. 9. I have missed work, incovienced me, my mom, my dad, my brother, my friend, my friends family.

I saw good reviews and got a recommendation for this shop, and I am glad I went there! My car's A/C system was broken, and they fixed it for a very reasonable price and did a wonderful job. Everyone at the shop was very friendly and professional, and they had my part ordered quickly and got it fixed in one day, even though it was an extensive repair. They scheduled me quickly and were available by phone each time I called. I will be going back for any future repairs on my car and will recommend Woods Automotive to friends and family. Thank you!

I spoke to a woman who I honestly wanted to thank and tell them that they made my day. My 2012 Lexus CT200h was giving me issues. I’m in the middle of a financial crisis and my car giving me issues really doesn’t help. I ended up having her check and she confirmed it was my battery back. She even tried to help me obtain a dealer hybrid battery pack under warranty. Unfortunately the last service date was April 2012. She did everything she could. I wanted to hug her and let her know that the world needs more people like her. If I ever need to service my car. This is the place I would take it to. Pure honesty and great business.

Mario is the best mechanic and serves his customer's with the utmost respect and makes sure that each of us has a pleasant experience. Dealing with a broken down vehicle or expensive maintenance fees can be very upsetting..the staff at woods makes you feel like everything's going to be ok. I love Woods Automotive.

Very trustworthy auto shop. Mario and Joy are so genuine. The workers are trained well and are just as honest and friendly as the bosses. They didn't try and drain my wallet. I felt as if they just wanted to help resolve my issue rather than charge me for everything. Thank you Woods Automotive 😊 I would definitely recommend this shop to friends and family.

I've been very hesitant to write a review..... And I've recently had to repent for this. I haven't been hesitant to write a review because of some incident, or sub-par service that I've received from Woods. I've been hesitant because they are so good at what they do I'm scared they will get too busy to service my vehicle in a timely manner. So Woods Automotive, please forgive me.... I'm sorry. These guys really are the best around. They never up-sell or overwhelm you with info. Joy is as her name implies.... A joy to work with! Mario and the other guys are phenomenal. They may be one of the few businesses left that understands the importance of honesty and integrity. YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!!!!!! I'm a customer for LIFE!

I’ve been coming to this mechanic shop for over 40 years. Jon was great – Mike was great, and now Joy and Mario are absolutely great! I can get in when I need to and they are kind and personable. They are also gifted mechanics who diagnose and give the good or bad news in a way I can understand. They work promptly and thoroughly. In forty years I have never once had to take the car back in for a second go-round of the same problem – they always do it right! I recommend Woods Auto without reservation.

this guy knows jeeps inside and out. if you have a jeep and don't want to search threads for everything every week. this is your place. cheap. quick (if they aren't busy which they always are). honest. will only do the work needed. go here.
